About: I am 58 years old and have had pets since I was 5 - I grew up on a farm raising dairy cows, horses, dogs and cats. Most recently, I have dedicated my animal loving skills to the 4H Youth Dog Project, running the Florida State Fair Youth Dog Show for 20 years and training our youth and dogs through day camps, week long camps, and local weekly training. “We had a medical emergency with our daughter who is attending university 3 hours away in the middle of the night. We reached out to Taylor and she was able to care for our three dogs with literally no notice the next morning and the next several days !! To make matters worse our youngest dog got sick and had diarrhea in her crate which Taylor graciously cleaned. Taylor even noticed that the same dog had blood in her urine!! Turned out she had a UTI so Taylor totally saved our baby girl. And if that’s not enough to say how AWESOME Taylor is, she was willing to work our three dogs into her schedule because we had to go back to hospital for my human daughter, but thankfully she was discharged. I understand that your pet is a member of your family and the amount of responsibility that comes with taking care of them. I will provide a fun and interactive environment for your pet. I am part of a big family with children who love animals and will love to have playtime with them! Your pet will be completely safe and well cared for in my home. I will only take animals in during hours when I am home and able to be there should your pet require immediate attention. Thank you so much for your consideration! I currently work from home and have a flexible schedule, which means that I can accommodate my schedule to work with you and your pets needs. I have one fur baby myself at home, who is a curious boy and loves to get to know other animals! I have four teenage boys who volunteer with me at our local animal shelter. If needed, I have an extra crate for your pet. I also have flexible leashes, doggy waste bags, and other chew toys and treats. I do not have a fenced yard, but I do live in a safe and secure neighborhood with sidewalks perfect for walking dogs.

I travel for work so finding/having a consistent dog walking/boarding person is incredibly difficult sometimes, but Thomas and Lyndsay were so nice and they even allowed my dog on the couch and bed since he is already allowed on furniture in my home. 🥰 I would 100% reach out to Thomas and Lyndsay again. This was Brandy's first time away from home so it was probably a bit more than what Marta and I expected being that Brandy is a puppy. Nevertheless, Quinn's Marta's dog seem to enjoy Brandy and help communicate effectively with her. So happy that Marta was able to watch her while I was out of town.”
“Kelsey was a great pet sitter. She sent pictures, videos, and updates a couple times daily which helped ease my worries about my 2 chocolate labs. She has a huge fenced in yard which allowed my dogs to get plenty of outdoor time. I would definitely use Kelsey again. Thanks for everything!!”

“We cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience with this sitter. We had to make last-minute arrangements for our senior dog, Lola, while we were vacationing in Sanibel after discovering that our condo no longer allowed pets. Lola is highly anxious, and leaving her is always stressful for us, so finding someone we could trust was incredibly important. From the very beginning, communication was exceptional. We received daily updates and photos, which gave us tremendous peace of mind and allowed us to truly enjoy our vacation knowing Lola was in great hands. Not only did she take excellent care of Lola, but she also graciously allowed us to visit and take Lola for walks during the week. She made sure Lola got plenty of exercise, socialization with other dogs, and lots of love and attention. It was clear that she genuinely cared for her. The biggest testament to the care she provided came on the last day. As we drove away, Lola actually watched her new friend leave and whined for her—a reaction we've never seen before. That told us everything we needed to know about the bond they had formed. If we ever return to Sanibel, she will be our first call. Every Rover sitter should strive to provide this level of care, communication, and compassion. We are beyond grateful for how wonderfully she treated our Lola. Thank you!!!”
