“Left my two bigger dogs, and felt a bit worried at first because not everyone can handle them, not only did he do great with them but went above and beyond by allowing them to roam the property, run free, feed them amazing and constantly send me daily updates, 2nd time using him and will definitely contact again when I’m out of town, highly recommended”

“Tatiana and her family were a great fit for Holi. They provided her the lots of love and attention and she had a blast playing with the kids and pups. Tatiana was great with updates throughout the stay and was super responsive to any messages. We will for sure rebook with her in the future.”

“This is the first time we have ever left our dog with a stranger. It was a good experience. Alejandra was a great communicator, sent pictures and let us know how he was doing daily. She does a wonderful job, highly recommend her!”

“Great lil stay with Samantha. For a short notice request, she was available for the time and was also flexible with my drop off and pick up time. Listened to my needs and directions for Bandit to a tea. Would recommend to any body needing a dog sitter for the day!”

“Absolutely wonderful people! I had just adopted my dog a few days prior and needed to find him a last minute sitter and they were perfect for him! Very thorough and quick communicators. They sent pictures if I asked for them and even allowed him some pool time which I’m so grateful for, especially in this summer heat. I even think they helped with his crate training again because he’s not as afraid of it since we’ve gotten home. Overall, Merlin clearly enjoyed his time with them and I’m so grateful. Thank you so so much! I would 100% book again and highly suggest others do as well.”

“Shalom did an amazing job watching my dog, Carti, while I was away for work. From the beginning, she was professional, communicative, and made me feel comfortable leaving him in her care. She sent regular updates and pictures throughout his stay, which gave me peace of mind and reassured me that he was having a great time. It was clear that she genuinely cared about Carti and treated him like one of her own. When I picked him up, he was happy, well cared for, and seemed to have thoroughly enjoyed his time with her. I would absolutely trust Shalom to watch Carti again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter. Thank you, Shalom!”

About: Someone in my family always had a cat, and I always wanted to be friends because I could never have one. I learned the hard way very young that cat trust is hard earned. Once I was old enough, cats in need of homes fell into my lap and they have taught me more patience than I ever expected, especially when handling introducing new cats to established homes. From fighting flying fur bunnies, to combating the endless litter boxes, cats after surgeries and on meds, I’ve had a lot of experience helping cats feel their most comfortable.

I'm also looking for a cat to adopt to join the crew soon! 🐈 ◾️ For many years now, I have been pet-sitting for family and friends. Last year I started pet-sitting professionally, and I have loved getting to meet so many incredible pets and spending time with them 😄 ◾️ I have had the joy of caring for a variety of pets of all ages, breeds, medication needs, and energy levels ⚡️, ranging from young to old, from chihuahuas to mastiffs to mixed dogs, from domestic shorthair cats to Maine Coons, and also including reptiles, birds, and fish. “WOW! Monica is amazing. She was available at the last minute and very willing to watch over a kitty who was not feeling well! I had complete confidence in her upon meeting her and I was not disappointed. My cats loved her and she spoiled them with attention. I would 100% recommend having Monica watch your fur family!”

About: I've cared for cats and dogs for years. I came from an animal-loving family, we got our first dog when I was 7, and now at home I have two cats and one dog of my own, so I understand how much routine and a calm, familiar presence matter to pets while their owner is away. I also consistently take care of my brother and sister-in-law's eight cats whenever they're on vacation, so multi-cat households and individual routines are second nature to me. Beyond my own household, I also volunteer with cat rescues. I'm dependable, detail-oriented, and treat every cat's home and routine with the same care I give my own.
About: I have a lot of people on my behalf that would recommend me to sit your animals. I have the biggest heart for every animal! Dog sitting fits my schedule very well, with weekday availability after 5 PM for walks, feeding, and care, and flexible, devoted time throughout my weekends. I prefer to watch your animal at your home, ensuring comfort and familiarity for them, unless an emergency happens that requires alternate arrangements for their care.

“Leah is amazing with my dogs! She takes them out three times a week for an hour, and they always come back happy and well-exercised. She’s reliable and truly cares. Highly recommend!”

About: Caring for animals is truly part of my family’s everyday life. I’m not just a sitter, i’m a mom raising children with the dream of being future animal rescuers. Pet sitting is the beginning of the journey. Every pet who stays with us gets patience, playtime, and a safe, loving environment. I’m experienced with small breeds, senior pups, and pets who need a little extra running time. We treat every animal like they’re part of our home, and we’re excited to build something great through the care we give. Pet care fits naturally into our daily routine because animals are already a big part of our home life. We start our mornings with potty breaks, fresh water, and a little playtime before the day gets going. Throughout the day, I do work full time from home. Being home I am able to give regular attention, snuggles, and check‑ins, and my daughter loves being involved in gentle ways as she works toward her dream of becoming an animal rescuer. Evenings are for winding down, treats, and cozy time. Caring for pets isn’t something we squeeze in it’s something that naturally fits into the rhythm of our home. I’m home full time, so visiting pets get steady attention and reassurance throughout the day. I have three dogs of my own, including two rescues, and they’re all friendly, well‑socialized, and happy to welcome a new friend. A portion of my yard is set up specifically for dogs, giving them a safe place to play and explore. I’m also able to separate pets when needed, both inside and outside. With two buildings on my property and a dedicated run available, I can create calm, individual spaces for dogs who need breaks, slow introductions, or a quieter environment. Whether your pet enjoys being social or prefers a little extra space, I make sure they feel comfortable, secure, and cared for the entire time they’re with us.
“Dana is a lovely human being who “gets” dogs and has made her home into a place of comfort and flexibility in response to a dog’s needs. We looked a long time for a caretaker and place that our little Velcro pandemic pup responded to positively and are so happy to have found Dana.”

“I highly recommend Kimberly for all your pet sitting needs! She made me feel at ease leaving my baby for the first time ever. She sent me lots of pictures and videos while my puppy Luna was in her care :)”

About: My brother and I work from home, so your fur baby will get plenty of love and attention throughout their stay! I’ve cared for dogs for over 10 years, to include caring for senior dogs through end of life care. During the day I’m a special education tutor, so have tons of patience and empathy! I’m comfortable administering medication, caring for hot spots or other treatments to vet orders, and keeping a watchful eye while you’re away! Part time tutor, part time studying for law school, so your pup will get plenty of belly scratches and one on one attention. My dog loves being around other four legged friends, so they will have a built in bestie to run around with (or just sit around with). I either work from home or have two hour sessions with my clients. My brother lives with me, so someone will almost always be around to let the dogs out and give them plenty of love and attention. I have a fenced in backyard, with one playful and sweet young dog who loves everyone she meets. We are a very dog focused household, and are in the process of installing a doggy door so the pups can go in/out as they please (when we are home, it will be locked when out running errands).
“Alexander was AWESOME. At the last minute he was able to dog sit my grand pup Dakota, when my daughter was not able to find care in Tallahassee. Finding trusting individuals to take care of your precious babies can be hard. Alexander sent us pictures and check in several times to keep us posted on her health progress.”

“Brenda and her mom took great care of my little boy for the day while I took care of some appointments. He had their company as well as their dog Scooby's. He came home happy and relaxed, and I'm happy to have found a great fit for daycare for my dog with isolation anxiety.”

When caring for a pet in their own home, I’m respectful of their space and their normal routine and make sure they get plenty of love and attention while their family is away. I know how hard it can be to leave your pets with someone else, so communication is really important to me. I’m happy to send regular updates and pictures so you can see that your fur baby is happy, safe, and being spoiled while you’re gone! 🐾❤️

About: I have been dog sitting on Rover for the past ten years and have loved it always. I give pet owners updates 2-3 times a day with pictures or videos of your pet so you dont have to worry about them when you’re away. I love taking care of all animals, rowdy or calm! I live right across from a huge fenced-in dog park which we can explore anytime. We can run around all day, and when we're all tired, we can lounge on the couch and relax. I take daily walks, which your pet is welcome to join. I take care of pets like they're my own, I just love them so much! My house will be like a home away from home for your pet. I am home working on writing and grading every day so other than a few hours throughout the day, I am on site I am home the entire day to care for your pup. I will play or snuggle with the pets based on their energy and preferences! They will get treats as often as you tell me to give them (I know some pups are on a diet so I will wait for you to say if it’s okay to give any treats). They will go outside as often as they need and spend all winter inside a warm living room with me
About: I have a lot of people on my behalf that would recommend me to sit your animals.
About: Since early childhood I have been an animal lover and had the unique hands on experience of raising dogs, cats and rabbits at a young age. I’ve been training dogs since I was a teen and have been professionally training since 2018. I earned my IBPSA certification for pet care, canine behavior and dog training in November of 2022. I’ve had the pleasure of providing senior care, puppy care and medicine administration. I’m currently enrolled in Animal Behavioral College to earn my certification as a dog trainer through them. I’m self employed and can be available for your pet and their needs frequently. My schedule is flexible and allows me more time to care for your pet. I have a fenced yard, large dog run and four large dogs for companionship with your pet at home. I can crate your dog if needed. In your own home I follow your guidance on your preference of care, and am available solely for your pets needs while I am there. Walks, playtime, engagement and companionship are top priority for them while they are in my care. Walks are fun and enriching for your dog as they are encouraged to take time to relieve themselves and interact with their environment. Cats are given love and support as they prefer, my lap is ready for them if they chose to grace it with their presence and my fingers are ready for petting. Kitties are also encouraged to interact and play for some enrichment.
About: Hi there! My name is Marissa, and I am hoping to become a trusted caretaker for you & your fur family within the Gainesville community. My whole life, my family has always had a house full of animals- from dogs and cats to lizards, birds, rabbits, hamsters, etc. Now, as an adult, I have 2 dogs and 2 cats, all with extremely unique and different personalities. I spent 6 years volunteering at my local humane society and have experience walking, feeding, bathing, and caring for all sizes and breeds of dogs and cats. I am very comfortable with any breed of dog and I am also very respectful of cats, I am keen on pets cues for boundaries. I understand all pets are different and I’d be honored to help you and your fur family in your time of need, while on vacation, etc. I’ve used rover in the past as a customer and have had good experiences with the app. I am new to this area but if you give me a chance I promise to take the best care of your pets while building trust in this community. Thank you for your consideration and I look forward to hearing from you! I have no problem waking up very early or stopping by very late and any time in between. My schedule is flexible at the moment. Every pet is unique and different in their own way. I have had a lot of experience with my own pets and my time volunteering at the humane society - I understand some dogs try to run out every chance they get or some dogs are food aggressive. I typically like to know your routine, with detailed notes/stopping by and introducing myself so you can show me how to properly care for your pet(s) while you are away. Trust is important and I know it can be scary using an app for pet care. Our pets are our family and I hope to start building a reliable reputation within this community.
About: I care very much for the well being of animals and want to make sure that the pets waiting for their owners feel safe with me. After work is usually when I will be able to, my work schedule is pretty random so I would work with the pet owners depending on how long they need me for. My backyard is nice and big enough to run around, but not secure enough for me to leave the pet alone back there. My front yard is nice too but needs the front gate fixed.

“Amber has been a great help walking and giving our Bearded collie Colin sweet attention. She is dependable, kind and Colin looks forward to her visits! Thanks to Amber I can return to work and know Colin has had high activity/loving attention! Carolyn Ascencios 😊”

With over 6 years of showing dogs in AKC and 4-H programs, 3-4 years as a breeder, and a lifetime of dog ownership, I bring a deep understanding of canine behavior, health, and care. I’m well versed in handling the unique needs of large and strong dogs. I’m currently enrolled in college classes that are all online and don’t have a job so I’m available at almost anytime/days I may be needed. I have 4 American bulldogs all different ages that require multiple potty trips all at different times therefore I’m used to going in and out at all times of the day/ night

If you go out for the week and need someone check up on your pets, I’m your girl! I promise to always handle your pets with care and to make sure that your pets needs are always fullfilled and they are comfortable while you are not there. About: Hi there! 🐾 My name is Brian, and animals have been at the heart of my life for as long as I can remember. From growing up surrounded by family pets to helping neighbors with their furry friends, I’ve built years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, and even the occasional small critter. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do — it’s something I love. Experience & Skills Dogs of All Sizes & Personalities: I’ve worked with everything from energetic puppies who are still learning leash manners to senior dogs who need a little extra patience and gentle care. Whether it’s high-energy walks, playtime fetch sessions, or slow, comforting strolls, I tailor each outing to the dog’s needs. Cats & Small Pets: I understand that cats and smaller animals need a calm and respectful approach. I’m comfortable providing fresh food and water, cleaning litter boxes, giving affection, or simply being a quiet, trustworthy presence for those who are more independent. Medication & Special Needs: I have experience administering oral medications and following special feeding or activity routines. I know how important consistency is for pets with health needs, and I always take extra care to follow instructions closely. Safety First: I’m attentive on walks, always checking surroundings, watching for other animals, and making sure your pet is safe and comfortable. Your pet’s wellbeing is my top priority. What I Offer Dog Walking: From quick potty breaks to long, energy-burning walks, I’ll make sure your pup gets the exercise and stimulation they need. Drop-in Visits: I can stop by for feeding, playtime, and check-ins to ensure your pets are happy, hydrated, and cared for while you’re away. House Sitting: For pets who prefer the comfort of their own space, I’m available to stay in your home, keeping your pet company and maintaining their normal routine. Why Choose Me? I treat every animal as if they were my own — with patience, kindness, and respect. I understand the trust it takes to let someone else care for your pets, and I take that responsibility seriously. You can expect regular updates, photos, and messages so you never have to wonder how your pet is doing. At the end of the day, I want both you and your pet to feel at ease. My goal is to provide not just reliable pet care, but genuine companionship that makes tails wag and purrs rumble. One of the most important parts of pet care is consistency, and I structure my schedule to make sure your pets get the attention they need when they need it most. 🐾 Weekly Availability Weekdays (Mon–Fri): I’m available mornings, afternoons, and evenings. This means I can cover everything from quick morning potty breaks to afternoon walks or evening feedings. Weekends (Sat–Sun): I keep my weekends flexible for pet care, so whether you’re away for the day or traveling overnight, I can be there to keep your pets happy and safe. Flexibility I’m able to accommodate last-minute requests whenever possible. If your plans change suddenly, I’ll do my best to step in and help. I can adjust to your pet’s normal routine — whether they’re early risers, midday snackers, or nighttime cuddlers, I’ll keep their schedule consistent so they feel secure. Services by Time of Day Morning Walks / Check-Ins: Great for pups who need exercise before you head to work. Midday Visits: Perfect for a potty break, feeding, or playtime to break up the day. Evening Care: Walks, dinner feeding, litter care, or winding down with snuggles. Overnight Stays: For pets who need extra comfort, I offer overnight house sitting to keep their routine stable in their own home. Communication I’ll always confirm availability ahead of time, and I send updates during each visit so you know exactly when I was there and how your pet is doing. When it comes to caring for pets, I believe three things matter most: safety, trust, and environment. These are the values I bring to every walk, visit, or overnight stay. 🐾 Safety First Your pet’s wellbeing is always my top priority. I stay alert on walks, keeping a close eye on traffic, other animals, and potential hazards. I never let pets off-leash unless in a fully secure, enclosed space, and I follow your instructions carefully when it comes to feeding, exercise, or medications. I’m also trained to notice subtle changes in behavior or health so small issues don’t go unnoticed. 🐾 Built on Trust I understand how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your pets and your home in someone else’s care. That’s why I communicate openly, follow directions to the letter, and send regular updates and photos so you always know how things are going. My goal is for you to feel complete peace of mind knowing your pets are cared for as if they were my own. 🐾 A Comfortable Environment I believe pets thrive best when their routines and spaces feel consistent. Whether I’m visiting your home or staying overnight, I make sure your pets feel safe and comfortable in their familiar environment. For cats, that may mean quiet patience and gentle interaction. For dogs, that could mean structured walks and plenty of play. Every animal has their own rhythm, and I take the time to adapt to it.
