“I am so glad that I found Carolina and her family. She is a true animal lover, and it shows in how much attention and patience she had put into caring for my cat, Mochi. Carolina went far and above beyond expectations. My Mochi had a big beautiful room with a brightly quilted bunk bed to climb on and plenty of cat trees, scratching posts, and windows in which to luxuriate in the sun. He could also enjoy piped-in music throughout the day and a big flat screen TV. He was warmly welcomed into the family home, roaming freely and playing with Carolina's many pets. He loved his vacation at Carolina's as much as I had enjoyed mine! I might also mention one aspect of this Rover experience that is critical for me and should be important to consider for other pet owners. Carolina keeps her boarding spaces immaculate. Bedding, cushions, and bowls are spotlessly sanitized, and all of her pets are on a rigid flea and worm prevention program, so there is no danger of cross contamination. I am very pleased and feel that my Mochi had a five star hotel experience for a fraction of the price.”
“This was my dogs first time staying the night with someone outside of family. My dog was nervous at first and went straight to his crate. By the time I picked him up the next morning he was so happy. He warmed up to Kristin and her family and played well with the other dogs. Our usually shy, anxious kitty Daisy warmed up to her immediately which is incredibly unusual, but Jaclyn clearly has an innate ability to make pets feel safe, secure and loved in her presence. Her communication is excellent- she sent multiple photos, videos and updates with every drop in and went above and beyond to take care of not just Daisy, but also a group of outside community cats that we feed who *also* took to her right away. When we got home from our trip, our kitty was calm, content and like we’d never left (whereas in the past when others have fed her in our absence she would be anxious and hide for a couple of hours until she re-acclimated). Jaclyn is kind, calm, observant, caring, thorough and communicative. I now can’t imagine ever asking anyone else but Jacky to take care of Daisy when we’re away, and am so grateful to have found her. I can’t stress how much she loves all animals, and it translates in her work when she cares for them. I feel so comfortable with her in our home and can’t wait to have her back. Currently my husband and I have 2 toy poodles-Teddy and Tucker-both turning 10 this year (2025). Between having many pets in our home such as cats dogs and birds I also have helped those in my neighborhood and other family members care for their pets since I was in high school. About: I volunteer with cats and dogs at Leesburg Humane Society. I work one day a week at an up-and-coming petting zoo. D Ranch has goats, ducks, chickens, rabbits, and dogs. I currently work full-time with a strange schedule. Mondays and Wednesdays I work from 7:30. Take a break at 11:00. Go back at 2:30. Get off at 6:00. Tuesdays and Thursdays go in at 12:00. Get off at 7:00 Fridays I go in at 6:30 and get off at 1:00. Off on the weekends I would love to spend time with your fur babies playing with them, making sure they're fed with water brushing them playing with them for however long you see fit. If walks are required that is absolutely no problem. Would also love to work with your dogs with obedience and toy play.
About: I have taken care of my family and friends animals since I was 14, I am now 20 and have worked with Animak Enforcement for a year at the LCSO. I have also volunteered at many Animal Shelters! I’m currently available at any point in time, animals fit into my active routine as taking on walks and caring intensively is something to look forward with me! I cannot do boarding at my home due to mom and sister being allergic :( I plan on having an animals sanctuary when I move out!
