Here there's only my dog Mylo, my mother and me. • All of your pet's physical and emotional needs will be met—that is my absolute priority, including their absolute safety. • Regarding male and/or bigger dogs, since my dog is a bit picky at first with some of them, it may be necessary a 5-10 minute 'Parallel Walk' at the meet & greet. It’s the safest way to make sure both dogs are 100% comfortable before they share a home. Only then we'll know if I can accept your doggie. • Hey, we all want this to work out but if the dogs don't like it, well....that's why we do the meet and greet: to know if the choice fits everyone involved and choose accordingly🙏🏻 • I never give "human food" to pets. Occasionally, I share certain fruits with my own dog (specifically those that are safe and non-toxic for them) or, occasionally, a boiled egg; aside from that, nothing else. BUT, your pet will strictly follow the diet you specify. • I clean the bowl and pour fresh filtered water daily. • I have set my account available to no more than 2 pets at a time; however, it is worth noting that regardless of the number of pets present, I guarantee that I can manage their interactions appropriately, as I am always at home. Safety is one of my top priorities and I don't say that just to say it or because it sounds good. It's true. My own dog had a bad experience and got hurt badly by another dog this sitter was taking care of. That's unacceptable! I know what it's like and I'm intentional in not allowing that to happen. • If the pet has socialization issues to the point I'm not able to serve other pet parents, that might incur in additional fees. • I operate with complete transparency, and my mission here is to serve you—to be your assistant and EXACTLY the help you're looking for right now. I'll provide as regular communication as you need and pictures of your blessing daily. My goal is your peace of mind and their comfort! • I encourage you to ask me whatever else you need to know!

About: I not only grew up around dogs, but I’ve worked in animal shelters and a pet resort, where I was responsible for the needs of dogs and cats. I earned 44 hours of volunteer work at the Humane Society in St. Thomas, U.S.V.I., where I gave tours to potential dog owners. I worked at Pet Suites and LifeLine, where I ensured all pets received their food and/or medicine in a timely manner. I have fostered dogs for Angels Among Us and found homes for all of them. I also take an interest in dog training. I’m not a licensed trainer, but I enjoy teaching dogs manners and tricks. I currently work part-time Tuesday through Thursday from 9 AM to 5 PM, which means I have open availability in the mornings, evenings, and full availability on Fridays through Mondays. About: I have grown up with cats my entire life, so I am very comfortable taking care of them. I have been responsible to care for up to 8 cats at a time! I also have pet sit cats with disabilities such as being blind or sick, as well as taking care of many senior cats who were unable to care for themselves anymore (unable to groom, eat solid foods, etc). Additionally, I am familiar with giving medicines to cats whether topical or ingested. I now have my own cat who lives with me since I moved for college and I take care of all of her needs entirely on my own so I am fully aware of everything required to keep a cat healthy and happy! I also know how to keep a space clean, and constantly change litter in the litter boxes, wash her food and water bowls, and sweep any excess food or litter she tracks out of the area.

This takes place at the location where care will be provided and gives us a chance to review your pet’s routine, home setup, safety needs, and comfort level. **Meet and greet exceptions:** * Cats do not require a meet and greet unless there are medications, behavioral concerns, or a complicated home setup * Puppies under five months may be booked without a meet and greet when appropriate * Returning clients may fast-track future bookings Please schedule your meet and greet at least 72 hours before your first requested service so we have enough time to coordinate properly. After the initial meet and greet, you are all set for future bookings. Dogs showing aggression, predatory behavior, severe resource guarding, or repeated unsafe behavior toward resident animals may not be eligible for boarding. If a boarding stay must be ended for safety reasons, care may be converted to drop-in visits at your home for feeding, potty breaks, and companionship whenever possible. 🚗 Premium pick-up and drop-off For added convenience, I offer pet transportation as an optional add-on. I can personally pick up or return your dog along my existing daily route, allowing you to leave your dog comfortably at home without coordinating an in-person handoff. My goal is to be both your pet’s advocate and your peace of mind while you’re away. 🚨 Safety and stress policy Safety is always my top priority, both for your pet and for me. If a pet displays aggression, extreme fear, severe anxiety, or behavior that makes a visit unsafe, I will still make every reasonable effort to ensure their essential needs are met, including food, water, medication when safely possible, and potty access. However, I may modify or shorten the visit if continuing would increase stress or create a risk of injury. This is never done as punishment. It is a safety decision intended to prevent escalation and protect everyone involved. Any significant concerns will be clearly documented and communicated to you. 🛏️ Crate or confinement requirement for boarding For boarding stays, dogs must be comfortable resting safely in a crate, exercise pen, gated room, or behind another secure household barrier. This is a firm boarding requirement. At night, during meals when separation is needed, and anytime dogs cannot be directly supervised, boarding guests will be safely confined. This gives every animal appropriate space to rest and ensures all pets remain secure while I am sleeping, showering, completing household tasks, or briefly away from home. Crates and gated spaces are always used as calm, neutral resting areas, never as punishment. If your dog normally uses a crate, pen, gated room, or another confinement routine at home, please share the details with me so I can keep their stay as familiar and low-stress as possible. Dogs do not need to love being crated, but they must be able to tolerate safe confinement without panicking, attempting to escape, or injuring themselves. If your dog is not currently comfortable with any form of secure separation, boarding may not be the right fit at this time. In that case, drop-in care in their own home may be a safer and more comfortable alternative. This is non-negotiable.

About: I not only grew up around dogs, but I’ve worked in animal shelters and a pet resort, where I was responsible for the needs of dogs and cats. I earned 44 hours of volunteer work at the Humane Society in St. Thomas, U.S.V.I., where I gave tours to potential dog owners. I worked at Pet Suites and LifeLine, where I ensured all pets received their food and/or medicine in a timely manner. I have fostered dogs for Angels Among Us and found homes for all of them. I also take an interest in dog training. I’m not a licensed trainer, but I enjoy teaching dogs manners and tricks.
