We'll just walk around the pond in front of the apartment 1 or 2 times. It’s the safest way to make sure both dogs are 100% comfortable before they share a home. Only then we'll know if I can accept your doggie. • Hey, we all want this to work out but if the dogs don't like it, well....that's why we do the meet and greet: to know if the choice fits everyone involved and choose accordingly🙏🏻 • I would NEVER intentionally harm an animal. I'd never lay even a finger on pets (to discipline them) that do not belong to me. • I never give human food to pets. Occasionally, I share certain fruits with my own dog (specifically those that are safe and non-toxic for them) or, occasionally, a boiled egg; aside from that, nothing else. BUT, your pet will strictly follow the diet you specify. • I clean the bowl and pour fresh filtered water daily. • I have set my account available to no more than 2 pets at a time; however, if you wish to ensure that your pet is the *only* one in my care (other than Mylo I mean) during their stay (for your own peace of mind), I can arrange it for a small additional fee. It is worth noting that, regardless of the number of pets present, I guarantee that I can manage their interactions appropriately, as I am always at home. • If the pet has socialization issues to the point I'm not able to serve other pet parents, that might incur in additional fees. • I operate with complete transparency, and my mission here is to serve you—to be your assistant and EXACTLY the help you're looking for right now. About: I've grown up around animals my whole life. For most of my life I had a minx cat named Milo that I rescued as a baby from under an abandoned home who was a real life Garfield and just the most chonky loving boy ever. After he left us a stray (Oliver) wandered into our home as I began college and made himself welcome in our home keeping my mom company and knowing we needed the support, he decided to keep going on his journey to explore after a couple years but we have always remembered our two boys. One of my cats, Dwight (yes, from The Office), became obstructed about a year ago, and because I paid such close attention to all of my animals' bathroom habits, I was able to get him to the emergency vet before it became a "true" emergency. I have caught every single ailment in a timely manner since, and all of my cats are happy and healthy. I have had to give medication, and definitely know how to deep clean a litter box. Unless something truly needs your attention, I won’t interrupt your vacation, work trip, or conference. I aim to be both your pet’s advocate and your peace of mind while you’re away. Safety is always my top priority for both your pet and myself. If a pet displays aggression, severe anxiety, or behavior that creates an unsafe situation, I will still ensure their basic needs are met, including food, water, and potty breaks. However, I may shorten a visit to avoid escalating stress. This policy is in place out of care and caution for everyone involved. 🛏️ Crate and Confinement Requirement for Boarding For boarding stays, dogs must be comfortable with crate use or confinement behind a baby gate or similar barrier. This is a non-negotiable requirement. At night and during times when dogs are not being actively supervised, boarding dogs are safely confined. This allows my personal pets appropriate rest and space, and ensures all dogs remain safe when I am asleep or briefly out of the house. Crates or gated areas are used as calm, neutral spaces rather than punishment. If your dog typically uses a crate, pen, or gated area at home, please let me know their routine so I can keep things as familiar and low stress as possible. If a dog is not currently comfortable with any form of safe confinement, boarding may not be the right fit at this time. I’m always happy to discuss alternatives or help determine whether a gradual transition would be appropriate.
