About: Hi, I'm Paige! Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them is something I truly love. I grew up with dogs and cats, and my parents currently have two 100+ pound Rottweilers, so I'm very comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities. I am very lenient with pets, they are allowed on furniture and they won’t be crated unless that is your preference. I also have two leopard geckos named Mushu and Yoshi. Kaya is fed twice a day, morning and evening. And Snickers is a grazer so he eats whenever he wants. I have a fenced in yard which Kaya adores. Whenever other dogs come over I let them out into the yard so they can run around and play. The yard is about half an acre and the fence is 4 and a half feet tall.

About: I have more experience with dogs, but I still have plenty of cat experience too. I did a lot of rescue work in the past which included tube feeding kittens, administering meds, and caring for very elderly cats. My own cat is a 14 1/2 rescue who was a declawed outdoor cat that no one thought I could convert into an exclusively indoor cat. But now you'd never even know he ever lived outside. I also have 3 grand kitties. Most of the cats I've had have been raised with dogs, so they are a little different. It seems that they are ever so slightly more flexible than cats raised alone or with other cats. So I have to consider my actions based on where the cat is at. If it's just sitting there and ignoring each other, that's what we'll do. If they want to cuddle and head bump, we'll do that too. I completely understand that unlike dogs, cats pretty much control the agenda.
