We needed a dogsitter to keep our Maltese/Yorkie mix (aka "Morkie") Finley for a month while we will be in Europe this summer. It's the longest we have been away from him, and we needed to find dogsitters we trusted. We found Bill and Margit on Rover and decided to try them for an overnight with our dog. It went exceedingly well. They sent photos of Finley relaxing on the sofa and bed, and getting along great with them and their other dogs. About: Hello everyone! I have previously worked for a vet hospital for 2 years and have been doing Rover since 2019. While your pet is in my care I always watch their body language, eating habits, and anything out of the ordinary I will let you know. I am comfortable doing any medication and give supplements that are provided if any. Your pet will have a fun time and we will play with their favorite toys. I will always want to make your pet feel comfortable around me and will try to stay in routine while your away. I am so excited to see new dog friends and looking forward to meet the parents! About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. But I’ve cared for my dog Tickle for 12 years now. I trained him as a puppy and care for him in his old age. I can do it all!! I’ve also cared for cats and fostered cats. I can administer medication, give baths, clean litter boxes, go for walks, and more! I am currently out of work and so I’m pretty available through out the week. I babysit sometimes but it’s usually once a week and very random. I am very careful with animals!! I know taking care of my older dog I take it very serious about what he eats. I know different animals have different rules. Also.. ANIMALS NEED LOVE!! I lived in Charleston for 5 years and took care of many dogs/repeat customers while I was in grad school for physical therapy. About: I love dogs and up until 3 months ago I had a rescue dog for 8 years until she developed serious medical issuse and I had her euthanized. I miss here and she was spoiled and I will do the same for your dog. I will provide plenty of walks and a nice fenced in backyard where your pet can roam free to do whatever. I allowed my dog to have free roam of my house, and your pet will have the same freedom, and I have a nice porch where your pet can lay outside and enjoy the sights. I am 75 and a retired RN. I live alone so my schedule is very flexible, with the appropriate notification. I am an early riser so your pet will be let out back first thing in the morning, then - 2or 3 walks during the day. I have a fenced in backyard and a fenced in deck above the garage so your pet can be safe in either one of the locations.
