Sylvia was great at sending me pictures throughout the day of my furbaby. Daisy looked very comfortable and relaxed. “Nacho is a very selective Chihuahua who immediately adored Nicole. He exhibited none of the signs of anxiety he generally does when he meets someone new (or even someone he has met several times). He accepted Nicole as one of his special people and behaved as well (if not better!) for her than he does at home. Nicole sent us photos of Nacho napping, taking walks and looking completely adorable while he was in her care; we could see how content he was and were able to have peace of mind while we were traveling. My typical day is: wake up early, walk the dog I’m caring for, feed the pup, let out again, then teach yoga. I’m gone for about 3 hours then return home for a long walk with the pup :) then we relax at home as I typically work on my computer. Your pup will be the only dog in my house - he or she will have all my love and attention! I am happy to have your pet sleep in my bed and lay on my couch if they want! I love walking and have plenty of have time for long walks. I have training on how to safely handle reactive dogs on leash. She setup a meeting beforehand to make sure that my dog got along with her 1.5 year old golden retriever and that we were comfortable with where our dog would be staying. We were able to relax and enjoy our night out knowing that Brenda and her children were taking good care of our pup. Her kids even slept in the family room to get to spend more time with him. We loved getting pictures of our dog and knowing that he was being well taken care of. ”

About: I have had several dogs in my life through their entire life span. I recently lost my soul dog. Not ready to get another but because they bring me so much joy, I would love to take care of others. I have the time because I am retired. I also know the feeling of worrying that they are in the best care! I can assure you that they will be! I am retired for the most part. I teach yoga a few hours a week but I have plenty of time. I can take your dog for several walks, AM or PM. I do not have a fenced in yard but do have a very long leash to allow freedom in the yard. I also live in a great neighborhood with lots of dogs. My dog recently passed but we used to take lots of daily walks and had lots of interactions.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats ever since I was 14-years-old. I was an active volunteer at Humane Animal Partners in Rehoboth Beach and have helped organize multiple donation drives for the SPCA. I’ve had pets my entire life. I have 4 years experience caring for dogs and cats in Lewes, Rehoboth Beach, Harbeson, and Milford. I work a hybrid job that is really flexible in days and times. I can work any pet care demands into my schedule. If I am not working from home, I am on the roads, making drop ins and walking throughout the day no problem.
