“Marvina was absolutely amazing and so accommodating! This was the longest I had left my rescue pup. (1 week) I was nervous for sure, however! That quickly went away as soon as I met her and saw the beautiful “summer camp for dogs ” that is her home! Her property is huge for the pups to run around and play. I had some last minute changes including being later on pick up time due to traffic. I got up to date pictures and reassurance that he was having a great time. I highly recommend treating your pup to this sanctuary! I will absolutely be using her services again and possibly work out a joint custody arrangement! 😂 My pup seems depressed now that he’s back home. Thank you again!!!”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 5 years old, usually 2 at a time, and am now a proud Dog Mom to Lola, who I bring with me when I am caring overnight for dogs. I am very good with training, and will happily follow your methods and keywords to reinforce good behavior with your dogs. I am also open to caring for cats, fish, hamsters, etc., as I have had various animals as pets over the years. For walks and house visits, my service radius is basically Long Neck, Oak Orchard, Harbeson, Angola by the Bay. For housesitting, I will travel up to 10 miles from Long Neck, and housesitting requests if my dog is permitted in your home as well, of course only when I am physically present. (She rides around in the car with me when weather permits, or stays with my roommate or parents in other cases.) I will only accept overnight assignments when I can bring my dog with me, so only work for 1 or 2 dog households. I currently work as a part-time consultant from home, and part-time as a waitress some evenings. I generally can provide potty breaks every 4 hours, as I have flexibility with my hours, but will be out of the house 3-4 times a week for up to 8 hours during the tourist season. I will care for your pets in your home, or on walks, according to your instructions. When caring for pets in your home, I am also willing to provide additional services such a light housekeeping, cooking or laundry, as time allows, sometimes for an addition fee. I was vaccinated against COVID-19, and have taken one booster. I will housesit when I will be staying overnight and can bring my dog with me as well, as she will stay with me on days I am not working.

About: I worked at a dog kennel for 2 years, where i was in charge of feeding, potty breaks, medicine (if applicable), cleaning kennels, bonding time, bathes (wet/dry), and brushing. I have been around animals my whole life and have always had a pet, even if it was something small like a fish. I’m currently unemployed at the moment, so i’ll have abundant time to watch your beloved pets! I’m available anytime, any day with the exception of Wednesday, so feel free to reach out! I have a fenced in yard where i let my four dogs out freely to do their business and get their energy out, while I get their food bowls ready and check their water. As for watching dogs, I will follow the instructions provided to ensure the dog is safe and in routine for when the owner returns home. I am 32, and at the age of 13 I started housesitting dogs/cats for neighbors and friends. About: My whole life has been around dogs! I believe they are the most well intentioned creatures on the planet. From puppies to seniors every dog i meet will be a joy to work with I work for myself out of my home so I have flexible availability. Limited availability Saturday mornings. Otherwise, though, I am free to hang out with your pup! I have a fenced potty area and plenty of space in my neighborhood for as many walks as is necessary! About: I was a Mom of 3 dogs, so I understand how important it is to have someone you trust to take care of your pets. I currently work from home so that gives me the freedom to care for your pets. I can do morning, lunchtime and evening walks. I can do overnight stays. I will do a meet and greet to see what makes you and your pet comfortable. I will learn their schedule so I can keep them on their normal routine.
About: I’ve had a dog or cat all of my life and the amount of joy they given is indescribable. I’ve watched my dogs numerous times on my own and well as my brothers dog who’s had diet complications for a while. I’m a current college student at the University of South Carolina so my schedule is fairly flexible and I’m able to work around my classes. I plan on having most of my weekends available to work. I generally let my dogs outside without a leash but I would never go outside with someone else’s dog without a leash on them. I’m comfortable putting a dog in a crate as my current roommate has a dog and I sometimes have to put her in a crate. I know some dogs have more energy than others and I am more than willing for o play with them until the get tired.

About: I have lots of experience taking care of dogs and cats since I was a child. Growing up, my family always had a pet. I currently have one dog who is a pitbull lab mix and two cats here in Millsboro. I also have 3 maltipoos, two birds, and a cat at my other house in Charlotte, NC, in which I often take care of on my frequent visits back. I love animals of any kind and anything that needs to be done such as walking, feeding, and bathing is no trouble!! Essentially, I work with school age children at the boys and girls club from 6:30-8:30am and then 2:30pm-6pm, Monday - Friday. Any times between or after then are pawfect for me. Trust and believe your pet will be met with the best care needs. I will provide lots of love,cuddles and attention! Feeding, walking, and bathing of course is no problem! Any additional requirements or special care instructions provided by the client will surely be followed and taken care of!
About: i’ve grown up around all types of animals and i’ve been asked by friends to watch their animals for days or a few hours etc i work 5 days ago and off wednesday-thursday but am avaible during the day and at night on sundays from 3 - to whatever time i have 4 acres of land plus i have 2 very friendly dogs who would love to gain some more dog friends who will play
About: I have always helped my sister when she was dog sitting and been helping my gf out with her friends pets when she is asked to watch them. I will make sure they are safe and happy I'm home full time as a pet sitter and care taker. When I'm not home my wife and mother in law will be home with the pets I have a cat who will keep to himself and a older female dog who is super friendly. We have no cages in the house and believe any pet here should be able to freely move unless someone brings a cage for any reason

“Marvina was absolutely amazing and so accommodating! This was the longest I had left my rescue pup. (1 week) I was nervous for sure, however! That quickly went away as soon as I met her and saw the beautiful “summer camp for dogs ” that is her home! Her property is huge for the pups to run around and play. I had some last minute changes including being later on pick up time due to traffic. I got up to date pictures and reassurance that he was having a great time. I highly recommend treating your pup to this sanctuary! I will absolutely be using her services again and possibly work out a joint custody arrangement! 😂 My pup seems depressed now that he’s back home. Thank you again!!!”

My dogs were so loved and cared for the entire time they were in her care. The pictures I got each day were just filled with joy in each of my dogs faces. If I could afford to send them there for playtime everyday I definitely would!!! Two of my dogs had stomach issues on the 5th day or so and she made them chicken and rice and pumpkin for their meals until they felt better. She trimmed their nails. She washed their bedding. I mean what more could you ask for?! Do not hesitate in sending your animals with her. She is the best of the best! I will be sending my dogs to her house anytime we go out of town… worry free!!”

About: Hi, my name is Katie! 😊 I worked in a high stress telecommunications job for many years but my true passion is to walk, train, play with, and take excellent care of dogs. I absolutely love dogs and animals! If my husband and I are driving down the road and I see a dog without an owner, he automatically pulls the car over so I can attempt to rescue and find their owner! I am the extreme dog lover who carries an extra set of leashes, water bowl, and treats in our car just in case. I grew up taking care of and training a German Shepherd and Sheltie. I have owned/and or fostered a few Golden Retrievers, Border Collie, Black Lab, and a Rat Terrier/Red Heeler mix. I love high energy dogs, have strong arms to handle pulling dogs, and enjoy leash training and teaching basic commands. I have also taken care of farms and multiple kinds of farm animals. Our current fur baby is a 1 year old Golden Retriever. She truly has a heart of gold! 💛 I also love and am patient with senior dogs. I look forward to meeting you and your precious fur babies. I also have a heart for people in pain who can’t get outside with their dogs. I would love to help! I am available to take care of dogs. I can walk and take care of your fur babies. They can stay with me if they get along with other dogs and children. I always make sure to check water supply especially during the hot months! Sometimes pavement can be too hot for a dog’s paws, so would love to take your fur baby on adventures to local trails, beaches, and/or to dog parks. I understand each dog has different needs and want to treat your dog to the best of my ability, as well as, model how you take care of your own fur baby.
About: I love dogs and up until 3 months ago I had a rescue dog for 8 years until she developed serious medical issuse and I had her euthanized. I miss here and she was spoiled and I will do the same for your dog. I will provide plenty of walks and a nice fenced in backyard where your pet can roam free to do whatever. I allowed my dog to have free roam of my house, and your pet will have the same freedom, and I have a nice porch where your pet can lay outside and enjoy the sights. I am 75 and a retired RN. I live alone so my schedule is very flexible, with the appropriate notification. I am an early riser so your pet will be let out back first thing in the morning, then - 2or 3 walks during the day. I have a fenced in backyard and a fenced in deck above the garage so your pet can be safe in either one of the locations.
