“Kate was wonderful and Mr. Peanut settled in quite quickly with her AND her two own dogs. Peanut is very picky at who he likes and doesn't like. But he got along with the pack and as a doggie mom, that made me feel good. I will definitely use Kate again. As far as the Rover website, there looks to be some logistical issues. On my screen, it told me Kate was 82miles away, but a 30min drive. Please get that fixed. Rover for me was hard to use. I like simple. But Rover has all these twists and turns. For example, I was not allowed to just message sitters. I was forced to pick dates. I had been looking for a new babysitter for Mr. Peanut since we just moved, but Rover made me wait til I needed someone asap, which made my experience stressful. Not good. We should be able to meet and talk to these folks before we book. After all, we are parents, and we all should be allowed to interview these sitters much like we would if they were our human children. Thankfully Kate worked out. But it could have gone a lot smoother. Thanks Kate (and daughter!)”

About: **We are unfortunately unable to host unfixed dogs in our home for boarding/doggy daycare.** I have grown up with dogs and cats and have spent many years caring for them throughout my life. I currently have a senior dog I adopted from a local shelter and two younger dogs I’ve helped raise since they were puppies. Over the years I’ve learned how different each stage of life can be, from potty training puppies to supporting the slower pace of senior dogs. I’ve also cared for family pets while their owners were out of town, including both dogs and cats. I’m comfortable with dogs of all energy levels. Some love to play and stay active, others just want to relax and be near someone. I’m happy with both. I also have experience with raw feeding routines and daily care. My main focus is always making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I have a flexible schedule as a stay at home mom which allows me to give consistent attention throughout the day. I homeschool my children but I’m still able to fully care for the pets in my home and keep up with walks, drop ins, and boarding. My days are structured in a way that allows me to adjust as needed so each pet gets timely and attentive care. Pets in my care can enjoy walks in your yard or around your neighborhood depending on what they are comfortable with. We also have a spacious yard that gives dogs plenty of room to move around and stretch their legs. Our home is calm and family oriented. Pets are always supervised and included in daily life. If it means getting up early to take a walk, that's what will happen. If I means getting out later in the afternoon for a walk, tha will be fine too. Pet care fits into my routine by me having a very opened schedule. I just moved to Easton, MD, so right now I'm looking to build a new client base here. While watching your pets in your home, I will always make sure I keep a watchful eye over them. I typically like to stay in an area that is open enough where I can see everything, but closed enough where the animal won't be out of site.

About: For an about the past four years I volunteered at a in home dog foster care. I’ve worked with dogs of all shapes, sizes, tempers, and needs till they reached their forever homes. Dogs of all needs are welcome under my care for no additional charge. Please make mw aware of any physical or medical needs. I am a part time collage student with a year-round near campus housing. I often do not have more than one or two classes a day that do not last longer than an hour and a half. All pets cats or dogs, will be dutifully cared for and monitored. Should your animal have a feeding, bathroom or medical routine you can trust that it will be followed. Pets of all sizes, tempers, and needs are welcome. Walks and playtime will be frequent based on your pets energy level. Any grooming needs outside of the occasional brush or paw wipe down that are not strictly necessary will carry an additional fee.

About: I have had many decades of well-loved Labradors, a couple exceptional Mastiffs, and a loveable yet crazy Brittany. In our home we have two full time cats that moved in after our neighbor passed away. Our family lives have always included pets and a multitude of farm critters that we care, love and enjoy. I am comfortable and have experience with large dog personalities as well as the medical and physical needs of seniors. And I can follow directions! I work full time as faculty at a local college, however my schedule has flexibility throughout the week as well as through the day. Typically I am available most days and locally can travel easily for pet care. Dogs can be boarded here as long as they are cat and dog friendly. There are 2 cats and I also watch our son's Brittany Spaniel during the week. For dogs that do stay here, they are allowed on the furniture as well as on our bed and there are multiple dog beds for their choice. Our backyard is fenced away from the road behind a privacy fence. For those dogs that like to swim there is a concrete salt water pool available during the season. Whatever directives the pet family prefers will be followed with updates regularly.

During that 30 minutes we're going to burn some energy with intense playtime. This will allow your dog stimulation helping your dog to calm down without having too much pent up energy while you're away. When it comes to Drop-In Visits it is similar to a walk but here's how they differ. With a visit I will be able to refill your pets water or food dish while you're away. If you have cats I can ensure their needs are taken care of such as cleaning litter boxes. Finally, I can take care of some simple household tasks. (I.E. Putting trash out and up to the curb) Furthermore, I am willing to provide training. Depending on your preference I can do clicker, treat, or a combination of both trainings. My Safe-Graduation Setup: To protect my own small, senior dog and two cats, I utilize a careful, low-stress transition plan for all incoming guests: The Baseline Suite: Initial visits and early boarding periods take place in my secure, comfortable, and fully supervised basement area. I hang out right alongside your dog to bond with them and evaluate their unique personality. On-Leash Graduation: Once your dog is fully relaxed and comfortable with me, we graduate to controlled, on-leash introductions in our secure outdoor space. Secure Play Yard: Your pup will have access to a dedicated, secure potty area (which is currently expanding into a fully enclosed backyard) for safe sniffing and play. Strict Safety Limits for Peace of Mind: Small Intake Limit- I strictly cap my home at a maximum of 3 guest dogs at any one time. Your pup will never be overwhelmed by a large pack. Size Restrictions: I exclusively accept small and medium dogs to ensure a safe, harmonious energy level for everyone. Cat-Friendly Guests Only: For the safety of my household cats, I only accept dogs with a proven history of calm behavior around felines.If you are looking for a true "home away from home" where your dog is treated like family and never left alone, I would love to meet you! I work for myself out of my home so I have flexible availability. Limited availability Saturday mornings. Otherwise, though, I am free to hang out with your pup! I have a fenced potty area and plenty of space in my neighborhood for as many walks as is necessary! About: For an about the past four years I volunteered at a in home dog foster care. I’ve worked with dogs of all shapes, sizes, tempers, and needs till they reached their forever homes. Dogs of all needs are welcome under my care for no additional charge. Please make mw aware of any physical or medical needs. I am a part time collage student with a year-round near campus housing. I often do not have more than one or two classes a day that do not last longer than an hour and a half. All pets cats or dogs, will be dutifully cared for and monitored. Should your animal have a feeding, bathroom or medical routine you can trust that it will be followed. Pets of all sizes, tempers, and needs are welcome. Walks and playtime will be frequent based on your pets energy level. Any grooming needs outside of the occasional brush or paw wipe down that are not strictly necessary will carry an additional fee.
