About: I got my first dog when I was 18 years old. She was the sweetest pup I have ever met! Since then dogs have become an irreplaceable part of my life. My last foster was a young adult who was a year old. Open to pets all day subjected to advance notice/short notice. I'm mostly home so I can be flexible with your routine and needs. A small heads up is always appreciated. I live in an apartment complex which is 5 mins away from 2 dog parks. I'll take your dog for daily exercise and morning, afternoon and evening. I live in a neighborhood which has lots of space to walk for regular/short walks. I have a 7 year old mild tempered female dog who will provide excellent care and comfort while you are away. I can easily crate your dog if needed, I have a large crate.

I only board one dog at a time so that I can give them adequate, individualized attention all throughout the day. You will not find a sitter in Wilmington that is as attentive as I am. My pets are kept separate during boarding. Your dog will have access to the entire first floor and the fenced in-backyard. I have a dedicated bedroom for boarding where I can sleep with dogs who may have separation anxiety to ensure they are comfortable. Drop-in visits & Walks: I‘ll take my time getting to know your dog and make sure they’re comfortable with me being there. I like to sit with them for a few minutes before and after each walk to feel out their energy levels. About: I have had my Siberian Husky American Foxhound since 2019! She is my entire world and is like my child. I love getting to take care of her when I am not teaching little ones at school! I love dogs and everyone in my life has dogs. This includes another American Foxhound mix, a Pitbull mix, and a Labordoodle which I spend extended time with each. I would love to get a chance to walk your fur baby and take great care of them! I am currently done the school year and have my days open for summer break! About: I started dog and cat sitting this summer using TrustedHousesitters and so far have really enjoyed getting to take care of people’s pets! If you are curious to see my reviews there, I would be happy to send you a link to my profile. Before this summer, I had pet sat before via drop-in visits, starting while I was in college. During the school year, I foster cats for a local foster agency (Project Meow). While I don't have experience fostering dogs, I did grow up in a household with two dogs, and I love being around dogs as well. I often do my research from home, which means I am generally available for drop in visits and dog walking visits throughout the week. I also LOVE to walk and run, so am happy to provide LONG walks to your dogs! It’s a bonus if they can accompany me on a run! I’m a PhD student and all my research is conducted remotely. This means I have plenty of time to play with, cuddle with, and walk your pets. On Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, I do have classes which will keep me out of the house for about 4 hours. I take your pet’s health and care extremely seriously. I am dedicated to ensuring that your pets are comfortable at all times, and prefer to have a phone call/meet and greet before agreeing to a sit so I can understand just what kind of care your pet needs.

About: My home is always filled with love and laughter over our dogs. Rex is 16, a ShihZhu, Jack is 10 yr Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and Peppa is 8 yr Chihuahua. Good nutrition, comfort, care, love and exercise are the keys to our content and playful pets. I am currently retired, and I have time on my hands. Dogs are very important to me, I feel they know more than we think they know. To give a dog comfort, company in your time of need would be my pleasure. About: Hello! I am a huge animal lover, who regrets not pursuing a degree in Veterinary Medicine. Animals have been my passion, love, and a needed presence for my entire life; in fact, my first word was kitty. As a child I researched animals of all kinds, and still do today. I love to train and play with dogs, snuggle with cats, ride horses, sing with the birds, make kissy faces at fish, etc. I often research natural pet care(& for humans!), training for all animals. I am a Mama to 5 cats & one Golden/Brittany mix (who are not currently in my home & in Maine as they transition here). I have owned two special needs cata that required medication, special requirements and sub-q fluids at home - I am happy to care for any special requirements. During the meet and greet, she asked about emergency vet info and offered her office as an option for urgent but non-emergency situations since I don’t have a primary emergency vet. She was aware of Sunny’s needs while she was there. Courtney also kept great communication and sent lots of videos and pics during her stay.
