Currently fitting pet care into my daily routine is no problem at all. I am a part time college student but I don't go back until the winter. I stay at home full time so I will be able to spend all day with your pet. As far as pets go, I have a very friendly lab mix named Kaya and a cat named Snickers. I also have two leopard geckos named Mushu and Yoshi. Kaya is fed twice a day, morning and evening. And Snickers is a grazer so he eats whenever he wants. I have a fenced in yard which Kaya adores. Whenever other dogs come over I let them out into the yard so they can run around and play. The yard is about half an acre and the fence is 4 and a half feet tall.

About: I have more experience with dogs, but I still have plenty of cat experience too. I did a lot of rescue work in the past which included tube feeding kittens, administering meds, and caring for very elderly cats. My own cats are a 16 year old rescue who was a declawed outdoor cat that no one thought I could convert into an exclusively indoor cat. But now you'd never even know he ever lived outside and a 9 month old little girl kitty. I also have 3 grand kitties. Most of the cats I've had have been raised with dogs, so they are a little different. It seems that they are ever so slightly more flexible than cats raised alone or with other cats. So I have to consider my actions based on where the cat is at. If it's just sitting there and ignoring each other, that's what we'll do. If they want to cuddle and head bump, we'll do that too. I completely understand that unlike dogs, cats pretty much control the agenda.

I am free for walks, sittings and drop ins for feeds and all of the above. I have a playful cat who loves to talk. He gets full treatment and brushing because he is a long haired cat. He only uses pretty litter which gets cleaned once or twice a day. He has an automatic food feeder that goes off twice a day for him when we are not home. My brother give him all of the love when we are not home as well.
About: I have 2 dogs and 2 cats. My dogs are Angus (a 12 year old Bugg (pug/boston terrier mix) and Archie (a 7 year old Boston Terrier). I also have a 16 year old cat named George who I rescued about 3 years ago. He was an outdoor cat for his entire life, but I've turned him into a spoiled indoor cat. No one thought I could do it, but here we are. Finally, I have one little girl in the bunch - a cat named Izzy (Isobel Rua) who is 9 months old. I've worked with a couple of rescues over the years and have fostered many dogs and cats. In addition to fostering, my rescue work also included coordinating, conducting and meeting rescue transports, administering meds to animals that were transported into the rescue and handling adoptions and home visits, care for kittens and puppies and elderly animals. I have had at least one dog in my life for just about my entire life. Cats came later in life when I had my kids because when I was a child myself, I wasn't allowed to have a cat. Over the years, I've learned about as much about cats as I know about dogs. My animals are well loved and cared for and I am very good at building new relationships with dogs and cats - meeting them where they are and working with them based on their individual cues and needs, not human expectations. I have years of experience that has benefited me with extremely well behaved and happy animals. Before moving to Delaware, I was the unofficial dog/cat sitter for my neighborhood. I decided then that I would like to at least start doing this professionally on a part time basis. Now that I've been here for a little more than a year, the time is right for me to start. First with daily check ins and walks. Perhaps overnights with pets in my home on on a case by case basis since I have my own fur babies here. Your pets would be in great hands with me. I work full time from home and can do occasional walks and check in's during my work day. I have more availability after work and on the weekends. I walk my own dogs in the mornings, but I can check in on yours as needed. Either a visit to feed and play for a bit or for a quick walk. Overnight stays at my home for your dogs is a possibility on a case by case basis.

About: Please note- I require a meet and greet first before taking on a new client. I have rescued many dogs and given them a better life. I have also had two puppies in the past six years. I have a lot of training and patience with puppies and also rescue dogs. I love dogs so much and strive to make them happy and be the best version of themselves. About: I have volunteer at spca, I work as a kennel and groomer. I have also given a special diet, alone with some elder dog care like meds and eye drops. Making sure there clean. I have very flexible schedule. I only work 230 to 530. When school is in I have to take my kids to school other then that am open. Again my schedule is flexible if need be I can change things a little. I only offer in client homes or drop in visits at the moment. Care for your pets in your home as if it was mine.
