“It was a last minute request to Jacob because m y usual sitter had last minute plans. I was a little nervous that my dog would be shy, but was not prepared for him to not want to walk or interact at all. Jacob did get him out real quick to go to the bathroom, but he wanted to go right back in. The later visit in the day did not go any better. Jacob did the best he could, but could get Theo to warm up to him.”

About: I have always been a pet owner.I love animals and would love to take the worry and stress out of your life by taking care of yours while you’re away. I know first hand how stressful this can be. No worries with your fur baby being here alone while I’m at work, I currently work from home so I’m available for drop off or pick up anytime. Unfortunately, I can not do drop ins at your home until after 230. I have a 4 year old Shih tzu/bichon/poodle mix and a 2 year old cat. I live in a condo so we walk daily to get his (and my) exercise. I can have your pet here overnight, come to your house to walk or just check in. Im very flexible.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 5 years old, usually 2 at a time, and am now a proud Dog Mom to Lola, who I bring with me when I am caring overnight for dogs. I am very good with training, and will happily follow your methods and keywords to reinforce good behavior with your dogs. I am also open to caring for cats, fish, hamsters, etc., as I have had various animals as pets over the years. For walks and house visits, my service radius is basically Long Neck, Oak Orchard, Harbeson, Angola by the Bay. For housesitting, I will travel up to 10 miles from Long Neck, and housesitting requests if my dog is permitted in your home as well, of course only when I am physically present. (She rides around in the car with me when weather permits, or stays with my roommate or parents in other cases.) I will only accept overnight assignments when I can bring my dog with me, so only work for 1 or 2 dog households. I currently work as a part-time consultant from home, and part-time as a waitress some evenings. I generally can provide potty breaks every 4 hours, as I have flexibility with my hours, but will be out of the house 3-4 times a week for up to 8 hours during the tourist season. I will care for your pets in your home, or on walks, according to your instructions. When caring for pets in your home, I am also willing to provide additional services such a light housekeeping, cooking or laundry, as time allows, sometimes for an addition fee. I was vaccinated against COVID-19, and have taken one booster. I will housesit when I will be staying overnight and can bring my dog with me as well, as she will stay with me on days I am not working.

I can take care of elderly dogs that use diapers full proper care even all the way to puppies and there high energy . I have a keen eye for details and a high sense of responsibility when it comes to the care of those who cannot speak for themselves. “We’re new to the area and needed a dog sitter for our pup, Piper—and I’m so glad we found Michelle! She was super friendly right from the first message and offered to do a meet and greet, which immediately put us at ease. Piper took to her right away! During her stay, Piper had an absolute blast. Michelle went above and beyond—she even took Piper on her boat (with my ok, of course!), made her homemade treats (always double-checking ingredients with me first), and ended the stay with a fun little crabbing adventure and a relaxing bath. For a New York dog, this trip was full of firsts! It’s such a relief to find someone I can fully trust with my girl. I’ve already booked Michelle for our next vacation. 5 stars all the way! “AIKO had a little separation anxiety and was quickly loved and preoccupied and went on with his stay .. there were numerous updates and quick response to any questions that I had concerning AIKO stay !
