“Kate was wonderful and Mr. Peanut settled in quite quickly with her AND her two own dogs. Peanut is very picky at who he likes and doesn't like. But he got along with the pack and as a doggie mom, that made me feel good. I will definitely use Kate again. As far as the Rover website, there looks to be some logistical issues. On my screen, it told me Kate was 82miles away, but a 30min drive. Please get that fixed. Rover for me was hard to use. I like simple. But Rover has all these twists and turns. For example, I was not allowed to just message sitters. I was forced to pick dates. I had been looking for a new babysitter for Mr. Peanut since we just moved, but Rover made me wait til I needed someone asap, which made my experience stressful. Not good. We should be able to meet and talk to these folks before we book. After all, we are parents, and we all should be allowed to interview these sitters much like we would if they were our human children. Thankfully Kate worked out. But it could have gone a lot smoother. Thanks Kate (and daughter!)”

About: I live in a home who foster dogs in need. Home with the dog all day so they'll have that attention and someone caring for them. I can take care of elderly dogs that use diapers full proper care even all the way to puppies and there high energy . Me being young i do play with the dogs i like to run around with them to keep myself and them entertained. I am a MMA fighter so I'm free everyday my gym is right here at home where I train at so I'm never off the property unless I have to be. I have a fenced in back yard that the dog will have access to and when inside your dog will be with me in my room making itself a comfortable home anywhere it pleases.

About: I've taken care of a wide variety of animals my whole life. While I love all types of pets, dogs are my favorite. I have lots of experience. One of my dogs was a therapy dog within the public school system as part of a literacy program for elementary children. I have a nice fenced in backyard and live close to two pet friendly parks. About: Hi, I’m Randy — recently retired after a 28 year career as a scientist with Merck Animal Health. I’ve spent my entire professional life dedicated to improving the health, comfort, and wellbeing of animals, and now I’m excited to continue that passion through one on one pet care. Animals have always been at the center of my world. I understand how they communicate stress, curiosity, comfort, and confidence, and I take pride in creating a calm, predictable environment where pets feel safe and understood. I’ve worked with pets of all ages, personalities, and needs, and I enjoy getting to know each animal’s unique quirks and comforts. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, senior, or somewhere in between, I meet them at their pace and make sure they feel safe and relaxed. I am recently retired, happy to have shed the rigors of corporate America and now free to enjoy life and to do what I love. I am a lifelong dog owner and strong believer in them often being man's (and women's) best friend. Cats are special to me too, I spent many years as a scientist developing new vaccines for cats.
