“Kate was wonderful and Mr. Peanut settled in quite quickly with her AND her two own dogs. Peanut is very picky at who he likes and doesn't like. But he got along with the pack and as a doggie mom, that made me feel good. I will definitely use Kate again. As far as the Rover website, there looks to be some logistical issues. On my screen, it told me Kate was 82miles away, but a 30min drive. Please get that fixed. Rover for me was hard to use. I like simple. But Rover has all these twists and turns. For example, I was not allowed to just message sitters. I was forced to pick dates. I had been looking for a new babysitter for Mr. Peanut since we just moved, but Rover made me wait til I needed someone asap, which made my experience stressful. Not good. We should be able to meet and talk to these folks before we book. After all, we are parents, and we all should be allowed to interview these sitters much like we would if they were our human children. Thankfully Kate worked out. But it could have gone a lot smoother. Thanks Kate (and daughter!)”

I grew up in an animal-loving household surrounded by dogs, gerbils, guinea pigs, parakeets, fish, and even the occasional rescue kitten. Me being young i do play with the dogs i like to run around with them to keep myself and them entertained. About: If your furbaby desires love and affection then we are it! I have to small children ages 9yrs old that love animals just as much. Plenty of snuggles to give as well as walks and playtime 🐶 I am currently at home and have time to provide the attention and needs that your furbaby requires. During the day my kids will be in school but after school, if your little one loves attention, playtime or a lap to snuggle on; we have you covered. I grew up in an animal-loving household surrounded by dogs, gerbils, guinea pigs, parakeets, fish, and even the occasional rescue kitten. My love of animals has continued throughout my life, and I’ve had a wide variety of hands-on animal care experience. I spent several years working on a horse farm and also worked as a kennel and veterinary technician assistant at a veterinary clinic, where I gained experience caring for animals with a variety of needs. I also regularly dog and cat sit for friends and neighbors and am comfortable caring for pets of different ages, personalities, and energy levels. About: I have had many decades of well-loved Labradors, a couple exceptional Mastiffs, and a loveable yet crazy Brittany. In our home we have two full time cats that moved in after our neighbor passed away. Our family lives have always included pets and a multitude of farm critters that we care, love and enjoy. I am comfortable and have experience with large dog personalities as well as the medical and physical needs of seniors. And I can follow directions! I work full time as faculty at a local college, however my schedule has flexibility throughout the week as well as through the day. Typically I am available most days and locally can travel easily for pet care. Dogs can be boarded here as long as they are cat and dog friendly. There are 2 cats and I also watch our son's Brittany Spaniel during the week. For dogs that do stay here, they are allowed on the furniture as well as on our bed and there are multiple dog beds for their choice. Our backyard is fenced away from the road behind a privacy fence. For those dogs that like to swim there is a concrete salt water pool available during the season. Whatever directives the pet family prefers will be followed with updates regularly.

My heart is owned by our 5 boys and our 3 furbabies 16 year old Siberian Husky named Lola, a 2 year old husky/german Shepard mix named Skye and a 13 year old Australian shepherd named Apache .
