But he got along with the pack and as a doggie mom, that made me feel good. I will definitely use Kate again. As far as the Rover website, there looks to be some logistical issues. On my screen, it told me Kate was 82miles away, but a 30min drive. Please get that fixed. Rover for me was hard to use. I like simple. But Rover has all these twists and turns. For example, I was not allowed to just message sitters. I was forced to pick dates. I had been looking for a new babysitter for Mr. Peanut since we just moved, but Rover made me wait til I needed someone asap, which made my experience stressful. Not good. We should be able to meet and talk to these folks before we book. After all, we are parents, and we all should be allowed to interview these sitters much like we would if they were our human children. Thankfully Kate worked out. But it could have gone a lot smoother. Thanks Kate (and daughter!)”

“Let me start by saying we’ve never left our dogs overnight let alone with a total stranger. We left for 9 days and have 3 dogs and I was so nervous and had a thousand questions and accommodations I needed fulfilled. Samantha was absolutely incredible. If I could give 100 stars I would. My dogs were so loved and cared for the entire time they were in her care. The pictures I got each day were just filled with joy in each of my dogs faces. If I could afford to send them there for playtime everyday I definitely would!!! Two of my dogs had stomach issues on the 5th day or so and she made them chicken and rice and pumpkin for their meals until they felt better. She trimmed their nails. She washed their bedding. I mean what more could you ask for?! Do not hesitate in sending your animals with her. She is the best of the best! I will be sending my dogs to her house anytime we go out of town… worry free!!”

About: I’ve had 3 dogs of my own, cared for and trained each one with all my heart! I also care of the neighbors newfies when they’re out of town. I’m currently working part-time at the hospital as a PCT, and full-time nursing student Monday’s & Tuesday’s 9am-2:30pm, Wednesday’s & Thursday’s 9am-11:50am. I’d be willing to use my free time for some extra money to get through school! And it’s a bonus I get to spend my time with furry friends! About: Had a variety of different dogs growing up, large and small breeds alike, and a sprinkle of cats mixed in as well as having cared for elderly and diabetic pets. Just a stay at home mom looking for a little extra something to do which leaves plenty of time to check in for walks, feeding, and playtime whenever needed. About: I have volunteered at the SPCA for three years, taking care of small dogs, large dogs, and even cats. I even take care of people's pets in my neighborhood. Currently fitting pet care into my daily routine is no problem at all. I am a part time college student but I don't go back until the winter. I stay at home full time so I will be able to spend all day with your pet. As far as pets go, I have a very friendly lab mix named Kaya and a cat named Snickers. I also have two leopard geckos named Mushu and Yoshi. Kaya is fed twice a day, morning and evening. And Snickers is a grazer so he eats whenever he wants. I have a fenced in yard which Kaya adores. Whenever other dogs come over I let them out into the yard so they can run around and play. The yard is about half an acre and the fence is 4 and a half feet tall.

About: I absolutely LOVE dogs! I’m the type of girl to ask you what your dogs name is and if I can pet them! 🥰 Since I was born, I’ve been surrounded by dogs. We always had several family dogs, all of my friends had dogs, my neighbors had dogs, etc. I grew up taking care of everyone’s dogs - neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets. I will be using Rover as a side job. I will work on certain days each week and it will be scheduled around my full time job. I understand that to a lot of people, animals are their best friend, their baby, their child… because of this, I will work 100% with you to accommodate your needs to make you comfortable!

About: I grew up with my family being a foster home to all animals from dogs, cats to Amazon parrots to llamas! I have my vet tech license, I worked at an animal hotel/daycare where we babysat, groomed, bathed, walked and played with every animal like they were our own! I have my own business and work from home. My schedule is completely flexible to your needs! I know some things are last minute and I’m the person who you can count on to especially help in last minute situations 🙂 I have 3 acres and fenced in yard that’s divided to cater to every pets needs. If they don’t get along with other animals that’s fine, if they need extra attention that’s fine! Your pets will be in good hands 24/7. I follow directions carefully as no pet is the same!
About: I have had dogs all my life including 2 Labrador retrievers, a maltipoo and a yorkipoo. I lived in Charleston for 5 years and took care of many dogs/repeat customers while I was in grad school for physical therapy. I watched dogs at my apartment as well as stayed at many homes for the dog’s comfort. I love going for walks with them, playing and snuggling. I work full time 8-4:30 Monday-Friday in Lewes, DE. I can stay at your home during the work week, feeding/letting your pet out before and directly after work. I will have my calendar updated for my availability but weekends I am free I can accommodate whatever you need. I live with dogs currently with my parents so I will stay anywhere to accommodate you! I would love to take your pup for walks, to the dog park, etc. depending on weather and safety! I am tidy and will respect your home just like mine, keeping you informed with updates and pictures.
About: I started taking care of cats when I was about 10, but I recently started taking care of dogs when I was around 16 off and on with neighbors and family friends! I work in the early morning so I would be available around 1-9pm. It will just be me and your dog unless they like other pets during play time. I have a fenced in big backyard for playing and playful Chocolate lab. I adore play time and will spend as long as they like outside getting out all of their zoomies and having water for them at all times!

About: I’ve had several dogs and cats and have sat for friends and family in the past. I have also rescued and cared for cats and dogs. I work remotely so I have a very open and flexible schedule to accommodate any time needs. I’m usually available for last minute openings or funky times. I’m willing to follow any rules and of course put your dogs needs first. I try to stay up to date online with “crunchy” dog parents.

“Let me start by saying we’ve never left our dogs overnight let alone with a total stranger. We left for 9 days and have 3 dogs and I was so nervous and had a thousand questions and accommodations I needed fulfilled. Samantha was absolutely incredible. If I could give 100 stars I would. My dogs were so loved and cared for the entire time they were in her care. The pictures I got each day were just filled with joy in each of my dogs faces. If I could afford to send them there for playtime everyday I definitely would!!! Two of my dogs had stomach issues on the 5th day or so and she made them chicken and rice and pumpkin for their meals until they felt better. She trimmed their nails. She washed their bedding. I mean what more could you ask for?! Do not hesitate in sending your animals with her. She is the best of the best! I will be sending my dogs to her house anytime we go out of town… worry free!!”

About: I have experience with breeds extra small to extra large as we owned a jack Russell, chocolate lab, golden retriever, and mastiff/cane Corso mix at the same time. Currently, we have a 6 year old American bulldog named rosie who loves lounging and eating my daughter's toys. I'm a recently retired teacher with a ton of free time on my hands and a desire to have a more active lifestyle. I live in west Conshohocken and have no commitments outside of elementary school drop off/pick up. I would prefer to care for your pet in your home as I have a kindergarten aged child but will consider housing a pet for a short stay. We have a fencrd in grassy yard and 2 enclosed deck/concrete areas. I will provide background clearances from the state police, FBI, and Childline.
“Marvina was absolutely amazing and so accommodating! This was the longest I had left my rescue pup. (1 week) I was nervous for sure, however! That quickly went away as soon as I met her and saw the beautiful “summer camp for dogs ” that is her home! Her property is huge for the pups to run around and play. I had some last minute changes including being later on pick up time due to traffic. I got up to date pictures and reassurance that he was having a great time. I highly recommend treating your pup to this sanctuary! I will absolutely be using her services again and possibly work out a joint custody arrangement! 😂 My pup seems depressed now that he’s back home. Thank you again!!!”
