“Let me start by saying we’ve never left our dogs overnight let alone with a total stranger. We left for 9 days and have 3 dogs and I was so nervous and had a thousand questions and accommodations I needed fulfilled. Samantha was absolutely incredible. If I could give 100 stars I would. My dogs were so loved and cared for the entire time they were in her care. The pictures I got each day were just filled with joy in each of my dogs faces. If I could afford to send them there for playtime everyday I definitely would!!! Two of my dogs had stomach issues on the 5th day or so and she made them chicken and rice and pumpkin for their meals until they felt better. She trimmed their nails. She washed their bedding. I mean what more could you ask for?! Do not hesitate in sending your animals with her. She is the best of the best! I will be sending my dogs to her house anytime we go out of town… worry free!!”
“Kate was wonderful and Mr. Peanut settled in quite quickly with her AND her two own dogs. Peanut is very picky at who he likes and doesn't like. But he got along with the pack and as a doggie mom, that made me feel good. I will definitely use Kate again. As far as the Rover website, there looks to be some logistical issues. On my screen, it told me Kate was 82miles away, but a 30min drive. Please get that fixed. Rover for me was hard to use. I like simple. But Rover has all these twists and turns. For example, I was not allowed to just message sitters. I was forced to pick dates. I had been looking for a new babysitter for Mr. Peanut since we just moved, but Rover made me wait til I needed someone asap, which made my experience stressful. Not good. We should be able to meet and talk to these folks before we book. After all, we are parents, and we all should be allowed to interview these sitters much like we would if they were our human children. Thankfully Kate worked out. But it could have gone a lot smoother. Thanks Kate (and daughter!)”

I know first hand how stressful this can be. No worries with your fur baby being here alone while I’m at work, I currently work from home so I’m available for drop off or pick up anytime. Unfortunately, I can not do drop ins at your home until after 230. I have a 4 year old Shih tzu/bichon/poodle mix and a 2 year old cat. I live in a condo so we walk daily to get his (and my) exercise. I can have your pet here overnight, come to your house to walk or just check in. Im very flexible.

Alexa was so understanding and just rolled with us and our chaos; from the last minute stay, to us being new to rover, forgetting to leave our leash- on and on. About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 5 years old, usually 2 at a time, and am now a proud Dog Mom to Lola, who I bring with me when I am caring overnight for dogs. I am very good with training, and will happily follow your methods and keywords to reinforce good behavior with your dogs. I am also open to caring for cats, fish, hamsters, etc., as I have had various animals as pets over the years. For walks and house visits, my service radius is basically Long Neck, Oak Orchard, Harbeson, Angola by the Bay. For housesitting, I will travel up to 10 miles from Long Neck, and housesitting requests if my dog is permitted in your home as well, of course only when I am physically present. (She rides around in the car with me when weather permits, or stays with my roommate or parents in other cases.) I will only accept overnight assignments when I can bring my dog with me, so only work for 1 or 2 dog households. I currently work as a part-time consultant from home, and part-time as a waitress some evenings. I generally can provide potty breaks every 4 hours, as I have flexibility with my hours, but will be out of the house 3-4 times a week for up to 8 hours during the tourist season. I will care for your pets in your home, or on walks, according to your instructions. When caring for pets in your home, I am also willing to provide additional services such a light housekeeping, cooking or laundry, as time allows, sometimes for an addition fee. I was vaccinated against COVID-19, and have taken one booster. I will housesit when I will be staying overnight and can bring my dog with me as well, as she will stay with me on days I am not working.

About: I worked at a dog kennel for 2 years, where i was in charge of feeding, potty breaks, medicine (if applicable), cleaning kennels, bonding time, bathes (wet/dry), and brushing. I have been around animals my whole life and have always had a pet, even if it was something small like a fish. I’m currently unemployed at the moment, so i’ll have abundant time to watch your beloved pets! I’m available anytime, any day with the exception of Wednesday, so feel free to reach out! I have a fenced in yard where i let my four dogs out freely to do their business and get their energy out, while I get their food bowls ready and check their water. As for watching dogs, I will follow the instructions provided to ensure the dog is safe and in routine for when the owner returns home. I have a keen eye for details and a high sense of responsibility when it comes to the care of those who cannot speak for themselves. I also have experience hosting for multi-day sleepovers and managing the dynamics of a small (2-3 dog) temporary pack. I no longer accept clients who have heavy smells in their homes. This includes, but is not limited to, cigarette smoke, urine, and plug in wall scents. Rates subject to change based on your pets needs. I work full time during the week, but am available all major holidays and weekends. I currently walk and feed my dog twice a day, so adding your pup to the routine would be a breeze! Although I don't have a fenced in yard, there is a safe neighborhood nearby where we walk our dog daily. I have one dog currently who has loved every other dog he's ever met and would be happy to share his toys! We do allow pets on the couches & beds, but would be able to crate at night if that is preferred.

We will follow your routine. We will give your pet several long walks and take him or her out as much as you need. We have a big back yard if it's raining or inclement weather and your pet doesn't want to go out. We give lots of love and many walks to pets. We have a comfortable home and your pet can feel safe with us. We lookg forward to being in your home as well and making your pet feel secure.

About: I have been taking care of my families pets since I was 13. Spending time with animals is one of the best ways to spend a day, especially when meeting new furry friends! I am currently working a serving position over the summer during my summer break from college, so my schedule can fluctuate, but mainly revolves around evening shifts. I am very good at communicating when I am available or not, and am totally okay with dedicating my days off to spend time with your pets! Preferably, I would like to care for animals in your own home, as I have two cats at home who are okay with other cats, but not so much bigger/more active dogs. I have a car so I am able to transport your pets and I to and from walks, homes, etc.

“Let me start by saying we’ve never left our dogs overnight let alone with a total stranger. We left for 9 days and have 3 dogs and I was so nervous and had a thousand questions and accommodations I needed fulfilled. Samantha was absolutely incredible. If I could give 100 stars I would. My dogs were so loved and cared for the entire time they were in her care. The pictures I got each day were just filled with joy in each of my dogs faces. If I could afford to send them there for playtime everyday I definitely would!!! Two of my dogs had stomach issues on the 5th day or so and she made them chicken and rice and pumpkin for their meals until they felt better. She trimmed their nails. She washed their bedding. I mean what more could you ask for?! Do not hesitate in sending your animals with her. She is the best of the best! I will be sending my dogs to her house anytime we go out of town… worry free!!”

“Marvina was absolutely amazing and so accommodating! This was the longest I had left my rescue pup. (1 week) I was nervous for sure, however! That quickly went away as soon as I met her and saw the beautiful “summer camp for dogs ” that is her home! Her property is huge for the pups to run around and play. I had some last minute changes including being later on pick up time due to traffic. I got up to date pictures and reassurance that he was having a great time. I highly recommend treating your pup to this sanctuary! I will absolutely be using her services again and possibly work out a joint custody arrangement! 😂 My pup seems depressed now that he’s back home. Thank you again!!!”

About: I love dogs and up until 3 months ago I had a rescue dog for 8 years until she developed serious medical issuse and I had her euthanized. I miss here and she was spoiled and I will do the same for your dog. I will provide plenty of walks and a nice fenced in backyard where your pet can roam free to do whatever. I allowed my dog to have free roam of my house, and your pet will have the same freedom, and I have a nice porch where your pet can lay outside and enjoy the sights. I am 75 and a retired RN. I live alone so my schedule is very flexible, with the appropriate notification. I am an early riser so your pet will be let out back first thing in the morning, then - 2or 3 walks during the day. I have a fenced in backyard and a fenced in deck above the garage so your pet can be safe in either one of the locations.

I absolutely love dogs and animals! If my husband and I are driving down the road and I see a dog without an owner, he automatically pulls the car over so I can attempt to rescue and find their owner! I am the extreme dog lover who carries an extra set of leashes, water bowl, and treats in our car just in case. I grew up taking care of and training a German Shepherd and Sheltie. I have owned/and or fostered a few Golden Retrievers, Border Collie, Black Lab, and a Rat Terrier/Red Heeler mix. I love high energy dogs, have strong arms to handle pulling dogs, and enjoy leash training and teaching basic commands. I have also taken care of farms and multiple kinds of farm animals. Our current fur baby is a 1 year old Golden Retriever. She truly has a heart of gold! 💛 I also love and am patient with senior dogs. I look forward to meeting you and your precious fur babies. I also have a heart for people in pain who can’t get outside with their dogs. I would love to help! I am available to take care of dogs. I can walk and take care of your fur babies. They can stay with me if they get along with other dogs and children. I always make sure to check water supply especially during the hot months! Sometimes pavement can be too hot for a dog’s paws, so would love to take your fur baby on adventures to local trails, beaches, and/or to dog parks. I understand each dog has different needs and want to treat your dog to the best of my ability, as well as, model how you take care of your own fur baby.
