However, as soon as we had our Meet and Greet with Myra all of that changed. He was nervous at first, but then she took his leash and began talking to him, walking him, rubbing him and giving him toys; I knew that she was the one! He showed me that he trusted her and both of our nerves calmed down. Myra kept me updated with daily texts and photos and I was able to see how relaxed and calm my baby was. About: I grew up on retired farm land, so I gained lots of experience raising and training several dog breeds, all sizes and ages. We rescued and fostered several dogs, cats, and rabbits over the years. As an adult I started fostering dogs and rabbits myself. Until recently, I was fostering primarily dogs. I have 2 shepheards and 2 pitbulls permanently placed in my home, as well as a dwarf rabbit. 2 of my dogs are trained and registered as service animals. I have a very adaptable home with lots of indoor/outdoor play space, as well as space to be separated as needed. I are very particular about keeping our food and water bowls clean with washing every day. I am happy to love you fur babies! There is rarely ever a time my pets are home alone. They all free roam and coexist peacfully, so I have a very calm house usually. We have a go out/walking schedule we follow to ensure proper exercise, as well as a secure feeding routine. My fiancé works full time, so I am the full time caretaker of the animals. Stranger pets in my home are introduced calmly and carefully, as to maintain a safe environment for all. Higher energy dogs meet my shepheards first, calmer animals meet my old boy first. My animals stay leashed infront of guests until a calmness has been reached. I have separate feeding bowls for all animals, water is communal as to resist territorial behavior. If calmness can not be reached, I have space to separate any unrully animals as needed. As a stranger in another animals home, I aproach very calmly and happily to respect their space. I am very adaptable to understanding and applying a feeding/walking schedule. Play time is always important, and my favorite part of the day! Lots of play time and pets are given to fur babies.

About: I grew up on a farm and ranch, caring for animals of all shapes and sizes. While living in South Carolina, I assisted with service dog and obedience training. I have a 6 foot privacy fence and the front room is set up for your pup to stay in and there is a XXL crate and for smaller pups I have a large play pen and a canopy bed. I do have three dogs that are friendly, however my house is constructed to where I can keep everyone separated and comfortable.

About: Hello! I’m Erin, a full-time high school teacher and pet-sitter on the side. I’m an animal lover and I have been pet sitting for 10+ years. I have a ton of experience caring for a variety of dog breeds and cats, as well as a few smaller animals (rabbits, hamsters, birds, and fish). I’ve worked with everything from tiny bottle babies to 150 lb senior dogs, and I love giving each pet the gentle, individualized care they need. I’m currently a stay-at-home mom to a sweet baby, two cats, and a small senior dog, so I have a very flexible schedule for walks, drop-ins, and house sitting. Occasionally, I may need to bring my baby with me, so I do ask that your pets are kid-friendly. (She will remain in her car seat/stroller for visits, and she is too young to interact with any animals). I’m experienced in medication administration (oral and injectable), SQ fluids, and basic grooming tasks. I also offer nail trims, baths, and anal gland expression as simple add-on services. Your pet’s safety and comfort will always come first, and you’ll get clear updates, photos, and communication every step of the way. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I’m a stay-at-home mom with a very flexible schedule. I’m home most days, so I’m able to plan walks, drop-ins, and house-sitting visits around my day. Caring for animals has always been part of my lifestyle, so it blends seamlessly into my daily routine. I treat every pet’s home like their safe space. When I’m caring for your animals, I stick to their normal routines.. meals, litter cleaning, playtime, snuggles (if they like them!), and any medications they need. I keep everything tidy, make sure your pet feels secure, and give lots of reassurance and affection. I also send updates and photos so you feel connected while you’re away. Since I’m not taking boarding pets right now, all care is done in your home where your pet feels most comfortable. For day-care, I will ensure the pet is well taken care of in an stress-free environment. I do ask that your pets are up to date on vaccines AND cat/dog/kid friendly!

I’ve been professionally caring for other peoples pets off and on for years. Totaling a little over 10 years. My experience ranges from traditional homes with cats and dogs, to small farms with chickens and goats, to the more exotic birds and ferrets. I always request a meet and greet with my clients before hand so they can introduce me to their pet and walk through their care. I want you to be happy and worry free! For walking or visits in your home, I am comfortable with a hidden key or if you use a smart lock to remotely unlock. I am also familiar with Ring and other security systems so if you’d prefer to give me a guest code I can disarm the system. My schedule does vary a lot week to week, and even seasonally. Best to just ask me how things are currently. Some of my most loyal clients are nurses and really appreciate my flexibility. I only offer drop in visits. I do not offer boarding, house sitting, or daycare. Flexible work schedule, but this is a second job for me. Advance notice is preferable so I can accommodate your schedule and mine as well. My visit cards are always very detailed. They include multiple photos of course, but they go beyond that to include stories of our adventure of the day - from chasing lizards, to playing fetch, or sometimes just snuggling during an afternoon storm. You’ll feel like you’re at home reading about their day.

My husband works locally and is home very often. All pets are closely watched and cared for. They are never left alone for longer than 2-3 hours. They are only outside supervised in a fenced in yard.

“All I can say is A++, Brody was very well taken care of, Diana and her hubby were so welcoming when we dropped Brody off, she does slow introductions with her own dogs and Brody had friends to play with. Diana's home is extremely clean and well maintained and had no issues leaving Brody in her care. She sent us pictures and even a short video or two, made our trip to DC stress free knowing he was in good hands, Brody came home happy and as playful as ever so I know he was treated kindly and with love. As a pet owner you can tell your pets body language and he was as happy as when we dropped him off for his puppy staycation! Diana is very friendly and communicates quickly. About: I have had dogs since I was a baby. I have cared for dogs of every stage of life, and I’m super passionate about senior dogs and small animals. Both my dogs are friendly with ferrets and other small animals, always supervised of course. I have experience in dogs, cats, ferrets, and all rodents. No experience with reptiles but I have read a lot about the husbandry of geckos and bearded dragons. Always willing to learn to have your pet be most comfortable in our home. I currently am a stay at home mom so I have plenty of extra time for animals. We (my boyfriend and I) already dedicate a huge portion of our time to our dogs so we would love to add more to the mix lol. My daughter (5yo) also loves animals and is learning the ropes of helping take care of them. We have a very big yard, and while it’s not fenced in there is still plenty of space to run on a lead! I can also help with potty training, pad training and lead training as well as socializing with our two very friendly goofy dogs.
