“Kate was wonderful and Mr. Peanut settled in quite quickly with her AND her two own dogs. Peanut is very picky at who he likes and doesn't like. But he got along with the pack and as a doggie mom, that made me feel good. I will definitely use Kate again. As far as the Rover website, there looks to be some logistical issues. On my screen, it told me Kate was 82miles away, but a 30min drive. Please get that fixed. Rover for me was hard to use. I like simple. But Rover has all these twists and turns. For example, I was not allowed to just message sitters. I was forced to pick dates. I had been looking for a new babysitter for Mr. Peanut since we just moved, but Rover made me wait til I needed someone asap, which made my experience stressful. Not good. We should be able to meet and talk to these folks before we book. After all, we are parents, and we all should be allowed to interview these sitters much like we would if they were our human children. Thankfully Kate worked out. But it could have gone a lot smoother. Thanks Kate (and daughter!)”

About: I have volunteered at the SPCA for three years, taking care of small dogs, large dogs, and even cats. I even take care of people's pets in my neighborhood. Currently fitting pet care into my daily routine is no problem at all. I am a part time college student but I don't go back until the winter. I stay at home full time so I will be able to spend all day with your pet. As far as pets go, I have a very friendly lab mix named Kaya and a cat named Snickers. I also have two leopard geckos named Mushu and Yoshi. Kaya is fed twice a day, morning and evening. And Snickers is a grazer so he eats whenever he wants. I have a fenced in yard which Kaya adores. Whenever other dogs come over I let them out into the yard so they can run around and play. The yard is about half an acre and the fence is 4 and a half feet tall.

I have allocated kennels and open land for the dogs to exercise and play. I have limited neighbors, and an entire facility for comfortable and personable sleeping arrangements and cooling/heating depending on outdoor weather.

My goal is to make sure you and your pets are comfortable with me in your home. Currently I babysit 2 times a week for one family and have a job working at a boat company. When December comes I will only be babysitting so I’m looking to take jobs caring for your animals in your home. In my own home I have one dog and three cats whom I love very much! I am an animal lover! I don’t think it’s best to care for your animals in my own home due to my many pets for your animals best comfort but I have a car and would be more than willing to care for your pets in their own home to make sure they are the most comfortable!
