“Stacey is an absolute gem! From the moment she met Girly, I could tell they'd be fast friends. She has such a warm, empathetic energy that just puts both pets and people at ease. Girly can be a little shy, but Stacey's gentle approach and kind demeanor quickly won her over. I was so impressed with how Stacey took Girly out on the backyard leash and harness. She was always patient and attentive, making sure Girly felt comfortable and secure. I loved receiving the daily updates and photos, which showed Girly having a blast exploring the yard and soaking up the sunshine. It was also clear how much Stacey adores cats. Our two boys, Gus and Leo, absolutely loved her! She spent lots of time playing with them, brushing them, and giving them plenty of cuddles. I could tell they were in excellent hands while we were away. Stacey is truly a loving and responsible pet sitter with a great affinity for all animals. I can't recommend her highly enough. I felt completely at peace knowing Girly, Gus, and Leo were in such capable and caring hands. Thank you, Stacey, for taking such wonderful care of our furry family members!”

About: I have cared for cats for most of my life but 5 years ago my fiancé and I adopted my first dog. For the past 5 years, I’ve cared for my dog, Mary Jane, who has been my sweetest teacher in understanding dog behavior, routines, and communication. Through caring for her, I’ve gained hands-on experience with daily walking, feeding schedules, basic training reinforcement, administering simple medications, and creating a calm, consistent environment for a happy pup. I have also cared for many friends pets while they were away on vacation. I may be new to Rover, but I’m not new to being a responsible, attentive animal owner. Caring for animals is already woven into my daily rhythm. I work part-time with flexible hours, giving me plenty of space in my schedule for peaceful walks, playtime, and check-ins with pets. I’m used to creating a balanced routine around my own dog, and bringing that same calm, attentive energy to other pets feels completely natural. I am currently free to sit/walk any day of the week. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on creating a safe, calm, and familiar environment for them. I follow your routines exactly as you outline them — from feeding instructions to walk times to any training cues your dog is used to. I keep doors and gates secured, monitor their body language closely, and make sure they always have fresh water and a comfortable space to relax. Trust is extremely important to me, so I communicate clearly, send updates/photos, and treat your home with the same respect and care I treat your pet.
“Nicole is fabulous! She once again did a great job caring for our household of cats—most of them elderly, so they’re a handful. Nicole continues to prove she’s reliable and trustworthy.”

About: I've been in love with animals since I was a baby. Growing up my family always had a menagerie of Fur-Babies. I started volunteering with the Humane Society when I was 12 and haven't ever stopped working with all kinds of Animals. From Alligators to Pot Belly Pigs to Zebras... From Akitas to Yorkies... From American Bobtail Cats to Tom Cats and everything in between, I've been blessed to have volunteered/fostered/adopted or raised almost every kind of pet you can imagine. My heart goes out to every fur-baby I meet and I will spoil, pamper and walk, run or jog with you baby like they were my very own. My home's Doggie Daycare and Critter Crash-Pad and Spa includes Luxury Lounge Pads and Comfy Crates and more Toys and Treats then PetSmart (well, not yet anyway). I'm ready for Doggie-Daycare, Daytime Drop-Bys or All Night Slumber Parties and pet sitting in your baby's own home while you'reaway. Rest assured there are no pets too big or too small for my happy extended family and ask anyone... I will love them all. I dont believe there is such a thing as an Ugly Baby... I can't wait to meet your family and give you all the help you need raising and caring for your four-legged piece of Fur-Covered Joy. I'm currently experiencing Extreme Empty Nest Syndrome... All of my own babies have grown-up, moved-on, flew the coop, and left me all by my lonesome! I can't believe I have an empty house for the first time in 25 years... And it sucks! With no more soccer games, birthday parties or trips to the Vet, my schedule is extremely flexible at the moment and I will do my best to fit your friend into my daily routine or drop everything to go check on your little guys at your own Home Sweet Home. (Just give me a minute to put down the oven mitts get the Home-Made Critter Cookies out of the oven). I live in a big, beautiful, historic home just outside of Dover with a huge yard, fenced in doggie play area, doggie pool, and a special doggie suite on the first floor filled with luxury doggie beds and comfy crates just right for any size fur-baby.
“Sureya connected with my dog immediately. She got down to his stature level and rubbed and hugged him, at that point I knew he was in good hands. Sureya took my dog Corbin without a two hour notice and I was so thankful especially being away from home. Sureya took great care of Corbin and I will definitely use her again when near the area.”

About: I grew up on retired farm land, so I gained lots of experience raising and training several dog breeds, all sizes and ages. We rescued and fostered several dogs, cats, and rabbits over the years. As an adult I started fostering dogs and rabbits myself. Until recently, I was fostering primarily dogs. I have 2 shepheards and 2 pitbulls permanently placed in my home, as well as a dwarf rabbit. 2 of my dogs are trained and registered as service animals. I have a very adaptable home with lots of indoor/outdoor play space, as well as space to be separated as needed. I are very particular about keeping our food and water bowls clean with washing every day. I am happy to love you fur babies! There is rarely ever a time my pets are home alone. They all free roam and coexist peacfully, so I have a very calm house usually. We have a go out/walking schedule we follow to ensure proper exercise, as well as a secure feeding routine. My fiancé works full time, so I am the full time caretaker of the animals. Stranger pets in my home are introduced calmly and carefully, as to maintain a safe environment for all. Higher energy dogs meet my shepheards first, calmer animals meet my old boy first. My animals stay leashed infront of guests until a calmness has been reached. I have separate feeding bowls for all animals, water is communal as to resist territorial behavior. If calmness can not be reached, I have space to separate any unrully animals as needed. As a stranger in another animals home, I aproach very calmly and happily to respect their space. I am very adaptable to understanding and applying a feeding/walking schedule. Play time is always important, and my favorite part of the day! Lots of play time and pets are given to fur babies.
About: I've been caring for dogs since I was a child. I've always had at least one dog. I often care for pets of friends and neighbors when they are away. I sometimes foster and/or transport for a local rescue. I have also had rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, and turtles , so the little critters can be cared for too. I am home most days. I babysit 2 days per week and drive the amish sometimes so my schedule is very flexible. I take my dog for daily walks, as well as to the park weekly. In my own home, your pet will be treated as family. In your home, I will take the time for your pet to be happy and loved.
“Our dog is recovering from a spine injury and Emily did a nice job giving her good care. She didn't hesitate to do everything according to our specifications. We didn't need to worry. Joy was in good hands.”

“Liz took great care of Cooper while I was away for a short trip. She did several drop in visits each day, kept me updated, and made the whole experience very easy. Cooper also needed medication, and she gave it without any issues. It gave me peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands, and I’d definitely book with her again.”

“Kaitlyn was amazing with our golden retriever, Cooper! He’s 9 years old with some new health issues and meds that can be tricky to give, but she was so patient and gentle with him. We could tell she really cared, kept us updated, and made sure he was happy and comfortable. Highly recommend Kaitlyn!”

About: As a long time user of Rover services for my own pets, I understand the importance of finding a sitter you trust! Thank you for considering me. I’ve been professionally caring for other peoples pets off and on for years. Totaling a little over 10 years. My experience ranges from traditional homes with cats and dogs, to small farms with chickens and goats, to the more exotic birds and ferrets. I always request a meet and greet with my clients before hand so they can introduce me to their pet and walk through their care. I want you to be happy and worry free! For walking or visits in your home, I am comfortable with a hidden key or if you use a smart lock to remotely unlock. I am also familiar with Ring and other security systems so if you’d prefer to give me a guest code I can disarm the system. My schedule does vary a lot week to week, and even seasonally. Best to just ask me how things are currently. Some of my most loyal clients are nurses and really appreciate my flexibility. I only offer drop in visits. I do not offer boarding, house sitting, or daycare. Flexible work schedule, but this is a second job for me. Advance notice is preferable so I can accommodate your schedule and mine as well. My visit cards are always very detailed. They include multiple photos of course, but they go beyond that to include stories of our adventure of the day - from chasing lizards, to playing fetch, or sometimes just snuggling during an afternoon storm. You’ll feel like you’re at home reading about their day.

I am flexible with same day bookings and am willing to accommodate late visits. I will do my best to work with any situation. Just let me know if you have any special requests and it will get done!

About: I was raised around dogs since childhood, and have always been involved with animal rescue since I had my own place. We have dogs and cats of our own, and they enjoy having fluffy friends to play with as much as we do! I’m currently available during the day full time, and only work part-time at night. So there’s a lot of availability for either dog walks, emergency boarding needs, or doggy daycare options. We have a fenced in yard out back, and crate-and-rotate when needed. I am experienced in handling all behaviors of dogs, from the fearful/shy to the escape artist.

I have a ton of experience caring for a variety of dog breeds and cats, as well as a few smaller animals (rabbits, hamsters, birds, and fish). I’m calm, caring, and patient, with a soft spot for senior animals. I’ve had a great deal of experience caring for my own senior pets (both dogs and cats). I’ve provided care for animals with diapers, medication, and mild mobility issues. I’m also experienced in caring for diabetic cats and administering insulin, as I’ve helped two of my rescues go into remission. I strive to provide the best care possible for pets, and peace of mind for their owners! Please be aware that starting August 25th, I will be at work from 7:35 am-3:05 pm. I provide pet care in client’s homes, per the directions provided by the clients. Prior to caring for your pet(s), I ask that we arrange a time for me to meet your pet(s) and go over all pertinent information regarding their care and safety.

“Kahjae was a great choice for watching Koda. He accepted my request at the last minute which I greatly appreciated. My Koda was a little naughty in his care and Kahjae graciously communicated and handled the situation and even continued caring for Koda 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽”

“Cynthia was great with my 1 1/2 year old Sheltie. She allowed us to meet her and her pup a couple of weeks before our vacation, to make sure we all were comfortable with each other. Drop off day was hard for us since our Sheltie is only 1.5 year’s old and a rescue, we didn’t want to stress her out too much. Cynthia has lots of experience with rescues and was quick to pick up on her needs. During the vacation she sent us many videos and pictures, which helped a great deal. On pick up day she sent us home with homemade treats, bully stick, and a freshly laundered dog bed. I will definitely use Rover and Cynthia again!!!!”

“Jermaine was awesome! Our dog, Reese, is getting older and I feel like a traditional kennel is a little too loud & stressful for her. Leaving her with Jermaine gave us the peace of mind we needed. He was communicative and positive. She came home happy & healthy. We are very grateful and will absolutely use his services again”

“Mike was great Ryder seemed like he enjoyed his stay, thank you Mike for the updates throughout our trip! Highly recommended for anyone who wants to make sure there puppers gets to someone who cares, and treats theirs like his own.”
