My fiancé works full time, so I am the full time caretaker of the animals. Stranger pets in my home are introduced calmly and carefully, as to maintain a safe environment for all. Higher energy dogs meet my shepheards first, calmer animals meet my old boy first. My animals stay leashed infront of guests until a calmness has been reached. I have separate feeding bowls for all animals, water is communal as to resist territorial behavior. If calmness can not be reached, I have space to separate any unrully animals as needed. As a stranger in another animals home, I aproach very calmly and happily to respect their space. I am very adaptable to understanding and applying a feeding/walking schedule. Play time is always important, and my favorite part of the day! Lots of play time and pets are given to fur babies.

I have a ton of experience caring for a variety of dog breeds and cats, as well as a few smaller animals (rabbits, hamsters, birds, and fish). I always request a meet and greet with my clients before hand so they can introduce me to their pet and walk through their care. I want you to be happy and worry free! For walking or visits in your home, I am comfortable with a hidden key or if you use a smart lock to remotely unlock. I am also familiar with Ring and other security systems so if you’d prefer to give me a guest code I can disarm the system. My schedule does vary a lot week to week, and even seasonally. Best to just ask me how things are currently. Some of my most loyal clients are nurses and really appreciate my flexibility. I only offer drop in visits. I do not offer boarding, house sitting, or daycare. Flexible work schedule, but this is a second job for me. Advance notice is preferable so I can accommodate your schedule and mine as well. My visit cards are always very detailed. They include multiple photos of course, but they go beyond that to include stories of our adventure of the day - from chasing lizards, to playing fetch, or sometimes just snuggling during an afternoon storm. I welcome puppies who are still in training. I require a meet and greet before booking. I want you and I to both feel comfortable about caring for your pet. Please note my rates for boarding are for 24 hours.If your booking goes beyond 24 hours you must book at extended stay rate. Looking forward to meeting you and your babies soon! I am retired and home most of the time. My schedule is very flexible. Your pet will only be left alone for a quick trip to the store or a scheduled appointment. I have a fenced yard. I will do everything possible to keep your fur babies safe. I love them as my own. I am retired and home most of the time. Pets are always considered in my schedule. My husband works locally and is home very often. All pets are closely watched and cared for. They are never left alone for longer than 2-3 hours. They are only outside supervised in a fenced in yard.
About: I own 2 dogs and 1 cat currently myself and have always owned at least 1 dog. Many family members and family friends rely on me when they need pet sitters for any variation of time (even before using rover). I’ve taken care of puppies and older dogs alike in the time I’ve owned pets and taken care of other species of animals since starting working with rover. I have experience administering oral medications as well as experience with reactive dogs. I currently work a part time job and have plenty of time around my scheduled shifts to take care of my own and other pets. I have 1 very energetic 1 year old that I run and play with daily, I have an older chocolate Labrador that requires more affection than physical play time. When it comes to my clients I generally I ask for a daily schedule they usually follow for their own pets whether it’s medications they need to take, allergies or just basic feeding times that they have.

About: I grew up on retired farm land, so I gained lots of experience raising and training several dog breeds, all sizes and ages. We rescued and fostered several dogs, cats, and rabbits over the years. As an adult I started fostering dogs and rabbits myself. Until recently, I was fostering primarily dogs. I have 2 shepheards and 2 pitbulls permanently placed in my home, as well as a dwarf rabbit. 2 of my dogs are trained and registered as service animals. I have a very adaptable home with lots of indoor/outdoor play space, as well as space to be separated as needed. I are very particular about keeping our food and water bowls clean with washing every day. I am happy to love you fur babies! There is rarely ever a time my pets are home alone. They all free roam and coexist peacfully, so I have a very calm house usually. We have a go out/walking schedule we follow to ensure proper exercise, as well as a secure feeding routine. My fiancé works full time, so I am the full time caretaker of the animals. Stranger pets in my home are introduced calmly and carefully, as to maintain a safe environment for all. Higher energy dogs meet my shepheards first, calmer animals meet my old boy first. My animals stay leashed infront of guests until a calmness has been reached. I have separate feeding bowls for all animals, water is communal as to resist territorial behavior. If calmness can not be reached, I have space to separate any unrully animals as needed. As a stranger in another animals home, I aproach very calmly and happily to respect their space. I am very adaptable to understanding and applying a feeding/walking schedule. Play time is always important, and my favorite part of the day! Lots of play time and pets are given to fur babies.

“Cynthia was great with my 1 1/2 year old Sheltie. She allowed us to meet her and her pup a couple of weeks before our vacation, to make sure we all were comfortable with each other. Drop off day was hard for us since our Sheltie is only 1.5 year’s old and a rescue, we didn’t want to stress her out too much. Cynthia has lots of experience with rescues and was quick to pick up on her needs. During the vacation she sent us many videos and pictures, which helped a great deal. On pick up day she sent us home with homemade treats, bully stick, and a freshly laundered dog bed. I will definitely use Rover and Cynthia again!!!!”
