“Sylvia was a perfect fit for our dog. Daisy tends to be a little shy but was best friends with Sylvia within an hour.. if that. Sylvia was great at sending me pictures throughout the day of my furbaby. Daisy looked very comfortable and relaxed. When I went to pick her up, Daisy had already claimed Sylvia as her person and did not recognize me for about 15 seconds..which felt like a lifetime. Although I felt alitte jolted..it showed me that my dog really liked Sylvia and that..my friends..is priceless. Thank you once again for becoming my dogs... person.. while we are on vacation.”

Mickey dealt with a small injury to Gracie‘s paw that occurred just before we dropped her off, keeping her front paw bandaged many times as Gracie decided she did not want to wear it. She also took Gracie for 2 1/2 mile walks, which is exactly what that breed needs. We absolutely recommend Mickey.”

“Nacho is a very selective Chihuahua who immediately adored Nicole. He exhibited none of the signs of anxiety he generally does when he meets someone new (or even someone he has met several times). He accepted Nicole as one of his special people and behaved as well (if not better!) for her than he does at home. Nicole sent us photos of Nacho napping, taking walks and looking completely adorable while he was in her care; we could see how content he was and were able to have peace of mind while we were traveling. Nacho will definitely be staying with Nicole the next time we need a dog sitter.”

About: I have had cats as pets of my own my whole life. I tend to think I can be a bit of a cat whisperer. I love to follow their lead and allow them the play or space that is needed. I feel comfortable cleaning a littler box and can handle multiple cats at a time. I am also comfortable administering some medication and handling senior cats.

About: I have my own dog of nearly six years, and I have a lot of experience taking care of friends and family members dogs as well! Pet care is a part of my daily life back home in Maryland, and I am so exicted to make it apart of my life here in college as well!! I started pet sitting for a family I used to nanny for about 10 years ago and love caring for our families dogs. My husband and I got our own fur baby 3 years ago, a 100lb Chesapeake Bay Retriever, named Buoy. I make sure that every house I leave looks the same as it did when I enter, that includes making sure trash is taken out and dishes are out of the sink! I’ve dog sat pups from 8 weeks to 13 years and from the size of a teacup poodle to a 100 pound boxer, and I treat every one like my own. I also am very familiar with cats, my brother has 2, I love them just the same! I am working local to Lewes! My times for during the week would be before 9am and anytime after 5pm. I’m very comfortable doing overnights as well! I am currently in a 3 bedroom apartment, with my husband and our dog. We would be more than happy to allow any fur baby into our place. Our community is so pet friendly. Our dog has been living in an apartment since we got him and he has been leash trained, so I have plenty of experience with dogs on leashes including prong collars, gentle leaders, and any type of leash.

I do not have a fully fenced in yard, but am happy to take your dog to the dog park if that would be helpful to release energy! The beach is also a short walk away :)

About: I have had several dogs in my life through their entire life span. I recently lost my soul dog. Not ready to get another but because they bring me so much joy, I would love to take care of others. I have the time because I am retired. I also know the feeling of worrying that they are in the best care! I can assure you that they will be! I am retired for the most part. I teach yoga a few hours a week but I have plenty of time. I can take your dog for several walks, AM or PM. I do not have a fenced in yard but do have a very long leash to allow freedom in the yard. I also live in a great neighborhood with lots of dogs. My dog recently passed but we used to take lots of daily walks and had lots of interactions.
