“Let me start by saying we’ve never left our dogs overnight let alone with a total stranger. We left for 9 days and have 3 dogs and I was so nervous and had a thousand questions and accommodations I needed fulfilled. Samantha was absolutely incredible. If I could give 100 stars I would. My dogs were so loved and cared for the entire time they were in her care. The pictures I got each day were just filled with joy in each of my dogs faces. If I could afford to send them there for playtime everyday I definitely would!!! Two of my dogs had stomach issues on the 5th day or so and she made them chicken and rice and pumpkin for their meals until they felt better. She trimmed their nails. She washed their bedding. I mean what more could you ask for?! Do not hesitate in sending your animals with her. She is the best of the best! I will be sending my dogs to her house anytime we go out of town… worry free!!”

“Kate was wonderful and Mr. Peanut settled in quite quickly with her AND her two own dogs. Peanut is very picky at who he likes and doesn't like. But he got along with the pack and as a doggie mom, that made me feel good. I will definitely use Kate again. As far as the Rover website, there looks to be some logistical issues. On my screen, it told me Kate was 82miles away, but a 30min drive. Please get that fixed. Rover for me was hard to use. I like simple. But Rover has all these twists and turns. For example, I was not allowed to just message sitters. I was forced to pick dates. I had been looking for a new babysitter for Mr. Peanut since we just moved, but Rover made me wait til I needed someone asap, which made my experience stressful. Not good. We should be able to meet and talk to these folks before we book. After all, we are parents, and we all should be allowed to interview these sitters much like we would if they were our human children. Thankfully Kate worked out. But it could have gone a lot smoother. Thanks Kate (and daughter!)”

If my husband and I are driving down the road and I see a dog without an owner, he automatically pulls the car over so I can attempt to rescue and find their owner! I am the extreme dog lover who carries an extra set of leashes, water bowl, and treats in our car just in case. I grew up taking care of and training a German Shepherd and Sheltie. About: I love dogs and up until 3 months ago I had a rescue dog for 8 years until she developed serious medical issuse and I had her euthanized. I miss here and she was spoiled and I will do the same for your dog. I will provide plenty of walks and a nice fenced in backyard where your pet can roam free to do whatever. I allowed my dog to have free roam of my house, and your pet will have the same freedom, and I have a nice porch where your pet can lay outside and enjoy the sights. I am 75 and a retired RN. I live alone so my schedule is very flexible, with the appropriate notification. I am an early riser so your pet will be let out back first thing in the morning, then - 2or 3 walks during the day. I have a fenced in backyard and a fenced in deck above the garage so your pet can be safe in either one of the locations.

About: I worked at a dog kennel for 2 years, where i was in charge of feeding, potty breaks, medicine (if applicable), cleaning kennels, bonding time, bathes (wet/dry), and brushing. I have been around animals my whole life and have always had a pet, even if it was something small like a fish. About: I have had dogs all my life including 2 Labrador retrievers, a maltipoo and a yorkipoo. I lived in Charleston for 5 years and took care of many dogs/repeat customers while I was in grad school for physical therapy. I watched dogs at my apartment as well as stayed at many homes for the dog’s comfort. I love going for walks with them, playing and snuggling. I work full time 8-4:30 Monday-Friday in Lewes, DE. I can stay at your home during the work week, feeding/letting your pet out before and directly after work. I will have my calendar updated for my availability but weekends I am free I can accommodate whatever you need. I live with dogs currently with my parents so I will stay anywhere to accommodate you! “Let me start by saying we’ve never left our dogs overnight let alone with a total stranger. We left for 9 days and have 3 dogs and I was so nervous and had a thousand questions and accommodations I needed fulfilled. Samantha was absolutely incredible. If I could give 100 stars I would. My dogs were so loved and cared for the entire time they were in her care. The pictures I got each day were just filled with joy in each of my dogs faces. If I could afford to send them there for playtime everyday I definitely would!!! Two of my dogs had stomach issues on the 5th day or so and she made them chicken and rice and pumpkin for their meals until they felt better. She trimmed their nails. She washed their bedding. I mean what more could you ask for?! Do not hesitate in sending your animals with her. She is the best of the best! I will be sending my dogs to her house anytime we go out of town… worry free!!”

If my husband and I are driving down the road and I see a dog without an owner, he automatically pulls the car over so I can attempt to rescue and find their owner! I am the extreme dog lover who carries an extra set of leashes, water bowl, and treats in our car just in case. I grew up taking care of and training a German Shepherd and Sheltie. I have owned/and or fostered a few Golden Retrievers, Border Collie, Black Lab, and a Rat Terrier/Red Heeler mix. I love high energy dogs, have strong arms to handle pulling dogs, and enjoy leash training and teaching basic commands. I have also taken care of farms and multiple kinds of farm animals. Our current fur baby is a 1 year old Golden Retriever. She truly has a heart of gold! 💛 I also love and am patient with senior dogs. I look forward to meeting you and your precious fur babies. I also have a heart for people in pain who can’t get outside with their dogs. I would love to help! I am available to take care of dogs. I can walk and take care of your fur babies. They can stay with me if they get along with other dogs and children. I always make sure to check water supply especially during the hot months! Sometimes pavement can be too hot for a dog’s paws, so would love to take your fur baby on adventures to local trails, beaches, and/or to dog parks. About: I love dogs and up until 3 months ago I had a rescue dog for 8 years until she developed serious medical issuse and I had her euthanized. I miss here and she was spoiled and I will do the same for your dog. I will provide plenty of walks and a nice fenced in backyard where your pet can roam free to do whatever. I allowed my dog to have free roam of my house, and your pet will have the same freedom, and I have a nice porch where your pet can lay outside and enjoy the sights. I am 75 and a retired RN. I live alone so my schedule is very flexible, with the appropriate notification. I am an early riser so your pet will be let out back first thing in the morning, then - 2or 3 walks during the day. I have a fenced in backyard and a fenced in deck above the garage so your pet can be safe in either one of the locations.
