I work for the Red Clay School District, so I have weekends, holidays, and summers off. My typical work hours are 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and my school is very close to home, which allows me to come home during my lunch breaks. I’ve got experience as a bird owner for over 30 years with multiple types of birds and other animals such as dogs, cats, and handling small critters at Petsmart. I’m home 24/7 to care for your pet, with a very flexible open schedule. I have nothing but lots of time to devote to your pet. I have a safe apartment complex with other leashed dogs that are all friendly surrounding me. My home is smoke free and we don’t use aerosols or candles due to owning birds. Our birds are kept separate from your animals and your pet will be supervised and played with and let out for potty breaks and walks every hour or two.

About: I grew up with cats and a dogs, I now have a 2 year old cat. I love going on walks with dogs. I take care of my in-laws’ dogs and friend’s pets when they go out of town. I have a full time job from Monday to Friday but I have I some flexibility in the mornings and afternoons and can also adapt for different times if known in advance. I am free in the evenings and weekends as well.☺️ I can take care of multiple pets at a time in their owner’s house. “Heather was wonderful with Sauce for his overnight stay! She was very communicative from the start and made time for a meet and greet beforehand. Her home was lovely and very pet friendly, and she asked lots of questions to make sure Sauce would be comfortable, well cared for, and a good fit in her home overnight. While we were away, she sent pictures and kept me updated on how Sauce was doing and what he was up to, which gave me great peace of mind. Heather was super pleasant, easy-going, and clearly thoughtful about the dogs she cares for. Sauce seemed happy and comfortable with her, and I would absolutely use Heather again.”

About: I have a house where I can provide individual or group care for dogs. I co-own a dog named French Fry, who has been a significant part of my training experience. I am available for boarding on weekends, starting Saturday morning and continuing until either Monday or Tuesday evening. Additionally, I have availability during certain holiday periods. I have a partially fenced-in yard and a metal crate available for dogs if needed. I follow any instructions that pet owners provide. I have a peace and calm environment for dog care.
