About: I've had dogs for over 25 years and most recently I'm caring for a dog with a seizure disorder. Everything from young energetic puppies to elderly dogs. I have worked with an organization called Missing Pet Partnership (an organization started by a police officer who trained scent detection dogs). About: I have had dogs in my home my entire life who have ranged from sedentary to pulling you down the street! I take time to understand each pets unique needs and make sure that our time together is well spent from the owner's perspective and the pet's! I work full time from 7-4pm Monday to Friday. My availability is anytime after 4pm but before 9pm on weekdays and anytime after 8am but before 10pm on weekends. I live with my fiance who is a veterinary nurse, our 10 year old dog, and 8 year old cat in an apartment. About: I been taking care of dogs for many years. Love taking them on walks/runs. Love seen them run around in the backyard with my own dog. I work 8 hour days but I take them out for walks before I leave and when I come home we ether go outback and play or walk/run. The care a provided is a loving environment. And playful one. About: I own It takes a village animal rescue, though I am taking a 2 year break, I have had 451 dogs come through my rescue in the last 10 years. I can help with house training, and basic puppy skills. I have probably had about 100 plus puppies in the last 10 years. I have a facebook account for the rescue and you can see all that My Volunteers and I have done over the years. Dogs must be neutered or spayed. Pet care has been a way of life for me for the last 13 years, I own an animal rescue but am taking a 2 year hiatus, but miss having dogs around all day. About: I have pets of my own. I have owned cats, dogs and and small animals too. Currently I have one dog and his name is Max. There were plenty of times in my neighborhood that dogs will get out and I would take care of them until they are safe with their owner. I also have a years experience in dog walking I am a full time student at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. I am home most of the time but as for my schedule I have classes Monday/Wednesday/Friday from 11-2. Tuesday/Thursday 9:30-12:30. For walks, drop-ins, and house sitting, my goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in their own environment. I follow feeding instructions, routines, medication schedules, and activity preferences closely. I also pay attention to behavior, energy levels, and comfort cues and will always communicate any concerns. I treat clients homes with care and respect and will provide updates and photos for peace of mind while you’re away.
About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I grew up with Border Collies and have also adopted several dogs over the years, so I'm comfortable with everything from high-energy working breeds to laid-back companions. I've also volunteered at several shelters, giving me experience with dogs of different ages, sizes, temperaments, and backgrounds. I work from home (as does my wife) so your pet will be getting consistent, attentive care. To be honest, our dog passed away last fall and we are missing the joy of being dog owners and having dogs around, but we need something a little more flexible for the time being. You are getting two sitters for the price of one and we will care for your dog as if they were our own :) As a former dog parent who has used Rover, my goal is to provide exactly what I was looking for each time I booked a walker/sitter: clear communication, limited hassle, and all of the assurances that you can rest easy and not worry...your doggo is in good hands! I work from home and call my own hours (as does my wife) so as long as we know your dog's routine we will make sure to incorporate it into our own. We have a fenced-in yard and a walking path near our home so walks are never a problem (we love walks). My wife and I both work from home so one of us will always be giving your dog attention/supervision. We have previously owned dogs who were flight risks so we have been conditioned to keep an eye out, keep doors closed, etc. We have a big fenced-in yard and have a little indoor gate/fence that we use in the house if need be to secure a hallway, etc.

I understand that every dog has a unique personality, routine, and needs, so I take the time to get to know them and make sure they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I have experience caring for dogs of different ages and temperaments, including energetic puppies who need patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement, as well as senior dogs who require a gentler approach, slower walks, medication reminders, and extra attention to their comfort. My goal is to treat every pet as if they were my own, giving you peace of mind while you’re away. I am in school night time and am available during the day. I am free all day Saturday and Sunday's. I can come whenever you need me to. When caring for pets, I always follow the routine they’re most comfortable with. In a client’s home, I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water at all times, get plenty of exercise, bathroom breaks, playtime, and lots of affection. I also keep their living area clean, administer medications if needed and instructed, and make sure they feel safe and relaxed while their family is away. I respect my clients’ homes by keeping everything tidy, locking doors, and following any special instructions.
About: I’ve been enjoying helping my kids care for their dogs and cats creating a strong bond while having so much fun with their dogs and cats. I have a flexible schedule to care for pets while providing a safe environment to stay in and keep to their schedule like their own parents with me. I have a fenced yard under my supervision and have fun playing with my own pets! Any suggestions that your pet needs will be appreciated in order to create a bond and trust while you are not there will be perfect to make your pet’s and your day!
About: I’m not able to have a dog of my own so it would be nice to have experience with different dogs throughout the week so I don’t feel like I’m missing out on spending time with pets. I’m a second grade teacher who is off for the summer and major holidays. I would like to have something else for me to do to keep busy during the long summer days. Being able to spend time with your pet would be an honor and I’m so excited to play with care for them in anyway you need me to. I’m also studying to be an elementary school teacher so if you ever need some babysitting I can do that as well. I work as an elementary teacher so I am available throughout the summer and major holidays. I can also make accommodations for Saturdays if needed. I am able to provide any care necessary if provided and shared by the owner. Just let me know everything you need to take proper care of your fur baby and I will make sure to deliver.
About: 🛑 PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING🛑: I own 2 cats. Even though my Cats have their own room your dogs must be ok with or have been around cats and knows basic commands. If your dog is medium or large size you MUST bring a cage. I will only use the cage for when I'm at work and I need to let the cats out their room. But when i'm home the dogs have free range even on my bed 😂 Before 2021: I've been pet sitting/walking for friends/neighbors for 5 years & on certain occasions I've been a dog/cat boarder for them, but I've been a dog walker for 5.5 years. 2 of the recurring dogs that I pet sit has had health issues, so I'm able to follow strict instructions given by the owners to take care of their pets in the best way possible whether it's just for a walk or pet sitting. UPDATE JULY 2025: Sorry to any specific owners but unless you are one of the 4 clients I've had since age 20, I will NOT be pet sitting/dropping in on CERTAIN snakes and ALL spiders. My soul will leave my body. The only reason why that is, is because I have a good rapport with the 4 clients and known some of their snakes since they were either in an egg or as a baby so I know their temperament . I'm okay with other reptiles, certain snakes, & pet birds. Some examples are Bearded dragons, geckos, chameleons, Iguanas, African Egg-Eating Snake, Western Hognose, Children’s python, Kenyan sand and Rosy boa. DM for list since there's a caption limit. UPDATE JULY 2025: Depending on my boss I work from Mon-Wed 11pm-7/7:30am, Fri-Sun 6pm-2am, off days maybe Tuesday (after 7:30am), Thursday & sometimes Friday. I will communicate if I happen to work a double or if I'm late since I have to rely on other coworkers to relieve me from my shift. Due to work I will not be petting sitting pets that can't stay alone for more 4-6hrs anymore. But if you need drop-ins for your pets medicine time especially for some of my older clients on all the apps I've been on I remember I will gladly do that when I have time. This is mostly for the cats and small dogs I might be open for boarding. I do own two cats they are up to date with their shots. I know how they react to other cats since I had them for a year, but as for dogs I'm not too sure until I get my own dog. Also, for the most part my yard is fenced is just one side of the fence has not been fully fixed yet so when we are outside in the yard they will be on harnesses for the cats and dogs since I will be outside with them. I also have a an in ground pool that's covered. Also, there's a mix of stray and outdoor cats in my neighborhood and for some, they like to hang out in my front and backyard (they do get in from the broken side of the fence). Mainly for shelter underneath my porch since it's elevated and hides them from this ungodly heat. Plus it doesn't help that me, my dad and my neighbors, do occasionally feed them if we notice that they get too skinny and one of other neighbors bought one of those insulated and heated shelters for the cats to stay in during the winter last year. Fun fact that's how I ended up with my 2nd cat as pet.
About: I have grown up around dogs my entire life, big and small! I’ve bathed, feed, played with, and let dogs outside! Cuddles are a must! I attend Western Kentucky University but am home for the summer. I currently work part time at Brusters Ice Cream! My schedule changes weekly however I don’t work everyday meaning there is plenty of time for stopping by throughout the day! I will update clients on schedule changes to fit their needs and make sure all pets are taken care of properly. Most shifts are at night so I can stop by for feedings and bathroom breaks before work and after! Care begins with attention. Following clients instructions as every dogs and cats needs are different. Proper safety, comfort, and routine is important! Whether backyards aren’t fenced in or animals are fed at a specific time clients instructions are always important to follow!

About: I have had 3 dogs growing up so use to handling multiple at one time. Also my shih tzu that passed had severe skin allergies so I have experience with medical baths and diets. I work from home 3 days a week so home all day MWF, Tuesdays and Thursdays I am in the office but only a 10 min drive away and can walk them during lunch and be back home with your doggo before dinner! I live in a neighborhood with sidewalks and a park, personally have a well sized yard and back deck for lots of outdoor fun! Currently I own 2 guniea pigs but they’re quiet and kept on an elevated surface no dog has been bothered by them before. Lots of toys and 2 beds here to play with but encourage to bring your pet’s favorites here as well.

About: I've had dogs for over 25 years and most recently I'm caring for a dog with a seizure disorder. Everything from young energetic puppies to elderly dogs. I have worked with an organization called Missing Pet Partnership (an organization started by a police officer who trained scent detection dogs). I can crate your dog if needed based on your preference and socialization with my dogs is entirely up to you. “Cynthia was great with my 1 1/2 year old Sheltie. She allowed us to meet her and her pup a couple of weeks before our vacation, to make sure we all were comfortable with each other. Drop off day was hard for us since our Sheltie is only 1.5 year’s old and a rescue, we didn’t want to stress her out too much. Cynthia has lots of experience with rescues and was quick to pick up on her needs. During the vacation she sent us many videos and pictures, which helped a great deal. On pick up day she sent us home with homemade treats, bully stick, and a freshly laundered dog bed. I will definitely use Rover and Cynthia again!!!!”
