“Kate was wonderful and Mr. Peanut settled in quite quickly with her AND her two own dogs. Peanut is very picky at who he likes and doesn't like. But he got along with the pack and as a doggie mom, that made me feel good. I will definitely use Kate again. As far as the Rover website, there looks to be some logistical issues. On my screen, it told me Kate was 82miles away, but a 30min drive. Please get that fixed. Rover for me was hard to use. I like simple. But Rover has all these twists and turns. For example, I was not allowed to just message sitters. I was forced to pick dates. I had been looking for a new babysitter for Mr. Peanut since we just moved, but Rover made me wait til I needed someone asap, which made my experience stressful. Not good. We should be able to meet and talk to these folks before we book. After all, we are parents, and we all should be allowed to interview these sitters much like we would if they were our human children. Thankfully Kate worked out. But it could have gone a lot smoother. Thanks Kate (and daughter!)”

My cats know her from previous cat sitting visits and they like herI I enjoyed seeing their photos looking happy and healthy (they hide when strangers come in the house). When I returned everything in the house was great. She texted to let me know the litter had run out so I ordered a box to be delivered through Amazon. The two litter boxes were clean when I hot home, which was nice after a long drive and unloading. “Exceptional Care for Two Special-Needs Cats Jennifer provided outstanding care for our two cats during a three-day trip, and we couldn’t be more grateful. One of our cats is diabetic and requires glucose monitoring along with insulin injections twice daily. Our other cat has chronic kidney disease, so careful observation of food and water intake, litter box habits, and overall behavior is extremely important. Jennifer handled every aspect of their care with professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine compassion. She kept us informed with regular updates, closely monitored both cats, and quickly noticed even subtle changes in their routines and behaviors. It was clear that she treated our pets as if they were her own. Knowing that our diabetic cat was receiving accurate glucose readings and insulin injections on schedule gave us tremendous peace of mind while we were away. I know first hand how stressful this can be. No worries with your fur baby being here alone while I’m at work, I currently work from home so I’m available for drop off or pick up anytime. Unfortunately, I can not do drop ins at your home until after 230. I have a 4 year old Shih tzu/bichon/poodle mix and a 2 year old cat. I live in a condo so we walk daily to get his (and my) exercise. I can have your pet here overnight, come to your house to walk or just check in. Im very flexible.

About: I have always had pets in life (dogs, cats, rabbit, hamsters, fish) and even adopted a dog to live with me when I was in college. The majority of my experience is with dogs and it spans all sizes and breads (from an 8-pound Maltese to a 70+ pound American Staffordshire Terrier). Over the last few years, I have worked with several animal shelters and opened my house to foster pets in need. About: Hi, I’m Randy — recently retired after a 28 year career as a scientist with Merck Animal Health. I’ve spent my entire professional life dedicated to improving the health, comfort, and wellbeing of animals, and now I’m excited to continue that passion through one on one pet care. Animals have always been at the center of my world. I understand how they communicate stress, curiosity, comfort, and confidence, and I take pride in creating a calm, predictable environment where pets feel safe and understood. I’ve worked with pets of all ages, personalities, and needs, and I enjoy getting to know each animal’s unique quirks and comforts. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, senior, or somewhere in between, I meet them at their pace and make sure they feel safe and relaxed. I am recently retired, happy to have shed the rigors of corporate America and now free to enjoy life and to do what I love. I am a lifelong dog owner and strong believer in them often being man's (and women's) best friend. Cats are special to me too, I spent many years as a scientist developing new vaccines for cats.
About: I've taken care of a wide variety of animals my whole life. While I love all types of pets, dogs are my favorite. I have lots of experience. One of my dogs was a therapy dog within the public school system as part of a literacy program for elementary children. I have a nice fenced in backyard and live close to two pet friendly parks. My schedule is very flexible. There is always someone at home 24/7 so your furry friend will never be lonely. I can board, sit, or walk almost anytime.
