“We have just recently moved to Ocean Pines, MD. So we have few contacts as yet. We needed a dogsitter to keep our Maltese/Yorkie mix (aka "Morkie") Finley for a month while we will be in Europe this summer. It's the longest we have been away from him, and we needed to find dogsitters we trusted. We found Bill and Margit on Rover and decided to try them for an overnight with our dog. It went exceedingly well. They sent photos of Finley relaxing on the sofa and bed, and getting along great with them and their other dogs. One of our cats is diabetic and requires glucose monitoring along with insulin injections twice daily. Our other cat has chronic kidney disease, so careful observation of food and water intake, litter box habits, and overall behavior is extremely important. Jennifer handled every aspect of their care with professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine compassion. She kept us informed with regular updates, closely monitored both cats, and quickly noticed even subtle changes in their routines and behaviors. About: I’ve always had a dog in my life, and it was my responsibility since I was young to care for our family pets! I am 32, and at the age of 13 I started housesitting dogs/cats for neighbors and friends. Consistently in the last 10 years, I have taken care of pets for family and friends while they are out of town. I have a 15 year old dog who is blind, so I understand the desire to have someone give specific care and love to an animal with special needs. Every animal I take care of, I care for like it's my own! I have cared for multiple large dogs at once, dogs with high energy demands, as well as dogs as young as puppies or as old as seniors. About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and absolutely have loved every second of it. I’ve also trained dogs since I was 10, specifically in dog agility. Im currently working a part time job while in college. But, I would still love to take the time to take care of your pets. Monday-Thursday I’m available any time after 2:30. I’m available any time on Friday. Saturday-Sunday I’m available before 2 pm. I have much dog walking experience. This includes my own four dogs and even my friend’s dogs. I don’t discriminate, so I can walk any dog or any size of dog.
About: I have had dogs all my life including 2 Labrador retrievers, a maltipoo and a yorkipoo. I lived in Charleston for 5 years and took care of many dogs/repeat customers while I was in grad school for physical therapy. I watched dogs at my apartment as well as stayed at many homes for the dog’s comfort. I love going for walks with them, playing and snuggling. I work full time 8-4:30 Monday-Friday in Lewes, DE. I can stay at your home during the work week, feeding/letting your pet out before and directly after work. I will have my calendar updated for my availability but weekends I am free I can accommodate whatever you need. I live with dogs currently with my parents so I will stay anywhere to accommodate you! I would love to take your pup for walks, to the dog park, etc. depending on weather and safety! I am tidy and will respect your home just like mine, keeping you informed with updates and pictures.

About: I love dogs and up until 3 months ago I had a rescue dog for 8 years until she developed serious medical issuse and I had her euthanized. I miss here and she was spoiled and I will do the same for your dog. I will provide plenty of walks and a nice fenced in backyard where your pet can roam free to do whatever. I allowed my dog to have free roam of my house, and your pet will have the same freedom, and I have a nice porch where your pet can lay outside and enjoy the sights. I am 75 and a retired RN. I live alone so my schedule is very flexible, with the appropriate notification. I am an early riser so your pet will be let out back first thing in the morning, then - 2or 3 walks during the day. I have a fenced in backyard and a fenced in deck above the garage so your pet can be safe in either one of the locations.
