Mickey dealt with a small injury to Gracie‘s paw that occurred just before we dropped her off, keeping her front paw bandaged many times as Gracie decided she did not want to wear it. About: I have had dogs since I was a baby. I have cared for dogs of every stage of life, and I’m super passionate about senior dogs and small animals. Both my dogs are friendly with ferrets and other small animals, always supervised of course. I have experience in dogs, cats, ferrets, and all rodents. No experience with reptiles but I have read a lot about the husbandry of geckos and bearded dragons. Always willing to learn to have your pet be most comfortable in our home. I currently am a stay at home mom so I have plenty of extra time for animals. We (my boyfriend and I) already dedicate a huge portion of our time to our dogs so we would love to add more to the mix lol. My daughter (5yo) also loves animals and is learning the ropes of helping take care of them. We have a very big yard, and while it’s not fenced in there is still plenty of space to run on a lead! I can also help with potty training, pad training and lead training as well as socializing with our two very friendly goofy dogs.
“Kate was wonderful and Mr. Peanut settled in quite quickly with her AND her two own dogs. Peanut is very picky at who he likes and doesn't like. But he got along with the pack and as a doggie mom, that made me feel good. I will definitely use Kate again. As far as the Rover website, there looks to be some logistical issues. On my screen, it told me Kate was 82miles away, but a 30min drive. Please get that fixed. Rover for me was hard to use. I like simple. But Rover has all these twists and turns. For example, I was not allowed to just message sitters. I was forced to pick dates. I had been looking for a new babysitter for Mr. Peanut since we just moved, but Rover made me wait til I needed someone asap, which made my experience stressful. Not good. We should be able to meet and talk to these folks before we book. After all, we are parents, and we all should be allowed to interview these sitters much like we would if they were our human children. Thankfully Kate worked out. But it could have gone a lot smoother. Thanks Kate (and daughter!)”

About: Experience with multiple breeds of dogs. My heart is owned by our 5 boys and our 3 furbabies 16 year old Siberian Husky named Lola, a 2 year old husky/german Shepard mix named Skye and a 13 year old Australian shepherd named Apache . During boarding or daycare stays, I'm also happy to reinforce basic training and offer guidance on grooming maintenance, body language, and behavioral changes that may strengthen your bond with your pet at home. Professional grooming services are available for pets staying in my care. Grooming recommendations, pricing, and service completion depend on your pet's size, coat condition, medical needs, and stress level. My philosophy is simple: I will never force a pet through a service. Their comfort, trust, and emotional well-being always come first. Booking Information To help protect my home while still providing every pet with the highest level of care, the estimated price for boarding and daycare includes a refundable cleaning/security fee. This fee is fully refunded after your pet's stay provided there is no excessive damage or extraordinary cleaning required beyond normal pet messes. I believe this allows me to continue offering a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for every guest while being fair to both pet parents and my home. My goal is simple: every pet should leave my care feeling safe, loved, understood, and excited to come back. I am generally home all day. I do work as a groomer for pets that are unable to got to salons, but I do this from home as well. So your pets will have round the clock love and care. You will need to provide any food and specific treats if your pet has a favorite or dietary restrictions/allergies. Pets are family. I will personally take them for walks throughout the day for fresh air and exercise, play with them and ensure they feel comfortable and lived while you are away. I do offer creating services, however, depending on the size of your dog, you may have to supply the crate. You pet will always be treated like family, but the details of their routine and activities will depend on your instructions. I respect that different lifestyles require different things (i.e crating vs free roam, scheduled feeding vs grazing, scheduled walks/potty breaks vs whenever they want to go out, etc.) and will maintain that sense of normalcy as much as possible. If you opt for grooming, and I am able to comfortably groom your dog, grooming will take place 1-2 days before your return. That way they have time to decompress after, and if they are stressed for parts, it gives leeway to do little bits over time.

About: I have taken care of an array of animals and have a trusted eye for any underlying issues that may arise. I have taken care of elder dogs and pups who are only a few hours old. I understand how stressful and worrisome it can be as a parent of an animal who needs a lot of attention, to have to trust another with the care and detail you would give. I am here for you! My fiancé and I just recently moved to Delaware from Florida to help out as a caregiver for a family member. About: I have had dogs since I was a baby. I have cared for dogs of every stage of life, and I’m super passionate about senior dogs and small animals. Both my dogs are friendly with ferrets and other small animals, always supervised of course. I have experience in dogs, cats, ferrets, and all rodents. No experience with reptiles but I have read a lot about the husbandry of geckos and bearded dragons. Always willing to learn to have your pet be most comfortable in our home. I currently am a stay at home mom so I have plenty of extra time for animals. We (my boyfriend and I) already dedicate a huge portion of our time to our dogs so we would love to add more to the mix lol.
