“I would definitely recommend Sureya to keep your pet. My Koda is very shy, barks at most people especially men ?. When I dropped him off he never barked. He went right to her. She’s very warm and inviting and i would absolutely rebook with her.”

We’ll absolutely book with them again!”

“Rackeem was awesome with my dogs while I was on vacation! He took excellent care of my fur babies and I highly recommend him! He helped my very active 14 month old pup 🐶 stop pulling so much while on our walks.”

“This was my Shaka's first time with a Sitter since we relocated to Delaware. I was nervous at first because he had not been with a Sitter in over a year since moving here. However, as soon as we had our Meet and Greet with Myra all of that changed. He was nervous at first, but then she took his leash and began talking to him, walking him, rubbing him and giving him toys; I knew that she was the one! He showed me that he trusted her and both of our nerves calmed down. Myra kept me updated with daily texts and photos and I was able to see how relaxed and calm my baby was. I truly appreciate the care and love that Myra gave to my Shaka and I will definitely use her services again. I highly recommend Myra for all of your dog care needs.”

“Teresa was amazing! From our beginning communications pre-booking, throughout the stay, and pickup was nothing short of a stellar experience! Teresa is very accommodating to your/dogs personal needs. Teresa is very attentive during drop-off. Teresa sends you frequent pictures of your dogs during their stay which really goes a long way in helping you feel at ease while you are away. Teresa provides a very smooth pickup. Very gracious sitter, professional with tons of experience! Looking forward to my next worry-free booking with Teresa!”

About: My Work History: My 30 plus career was in Quality and Risk for financial institutions most recently ending a contractor position mid summer of 2023. About Me: I had the opportunity to take a career hiatus after ending a 15 year career to focus on family with the plan to return to work within the year. Then Covid hit. As a result I was fortunate to stay home longer than anticipated and care for our families new addition, our now five year old Bulldog, Boxer, Shepherd Mix. This made me realize the importance of her growth and safety as she flourished with consistency during human connection. I believe this alleviated her diagnosed anxiety and gave her a sense of not only security but happiness. As long as I can remember I have had a passion for connecting with pets and making sure they are not just cared for by feeding and walking, but to also make them feel safe with their caretaker. I believe animals should respect humans and at the same time humans should respect the loyalty, love and health of their pets. My entire life I have owned Chocolate Labrador Retrievers, Chesapeake Bay Retrievers and two cats. Most proudly I have raised 5 kids who have had hamsters' and fish while 2 children left them in our care when spending half their time with their other parental unit. Over 4 years ago I hired a trainer for our family dog and have skills that can be put to use to help your dog if they are currently in training. I am familiar with crates and to identify when a dog may not feel safe, anxious and when they give a warning to people to back off if they are not in their best mood. I am familiar with the laws of Delaware for on leash and off leash. I am also happy to give your loyal pet its daily medication during the visit if needed. My years working in Quality, Risk, Mother and Animal owner makes me a great candidate for communicating in a way to effectively resolve any possible difference of opinion and believe that starts with listening and respecting the other person. If at any time you are not satisfied and need me to change a routine or approach I am happy to make those adjustments as long as we both feel comfortable with the outcome. My goal is for you to feel relaxed knowing that I am there to take care of your loyal family pet. Truth be told, having 5 kids that are successful, self-sufficient and polite makes me a great candidate to work with you and your family pet. I am currently a homemaker looking for a new career and my love and history of owning animals (since the age of 11) makes aware of the importance of availability. I care for my own animal with a routine first. Animals feel happy and safe with routines. My dog knows when it's time to go outside, time for a treat and when to play. If that's not built into the daily schedule then that can take a while to acclimate depending on the animal. If I were in a client's home I should not be caught off guard on what they expect and or what they would like to set as a routine. For instance, if I have 2 visits for one home and their animal(s) we would need to know if there is feeding, water, medicine and walking or exercising during each visit. If I notice they are not eating or drinking or playful during those visits I would want to discuss with the client to consider whether or not there are options to help their pet thrive with nutrition. I am also aware of foods that should not be provided to the dog, nor would I bring my own treats unless it was approved by Rover and Client.
“The sweetest people! They agreed to take my puppy less than a week before my trip(after I got canceled on and started stressing). I was super nervous since this was the first time leaving him but I wrote instructions and I feel as though they followed every single one! I got picture updates as requested and when they had questions they asked. He got plenty of playtime and outdoor/potty time! They also didn't mind us bringing our crate to their home since were are crate training snd he sleeps in there. I will definitely use them again in the future! Thank you so much for taking Waffle into your home and treating him like your own!”

About: I’ve taken care of cats since I was 8. My neighbors and family friends would often ask me to take care of their cats by feeding, playing, and spending time with them as they grew up. I have experience giving medicine and special care for a wide range of ages too.

“Kelsey did a fine job for us. Dogs liked her and they got their daily walk in. This was our second time working with her. We’d request her again but our schedules aren’t working out this time.”

“I left so many instructions for Hannah that I really appreciate her following to a T. I'm sure my cats enjoyed having her watch them and spend time with them especially over the holiday I can't thank her enough. Not a big enough deal to not warrant five stars, I just didn't receive any pictures for when she dropped in. But she updated me on how they were doing when she was at the house. Thank you Hannah!”

I've had friends, family and co-workers sit their pets for overnight stays in the comfort of my home. I also will go to your home to check on animals, administer medication or simply take them for a walk or play some fetch! About: I grew up on retired farm land, so I gained lots of experience raising and training several dog breeds, all sizes and ages. We rescued and fostered several dogs, cats, and rabbits over the years. As an adult I started fostering dogs and rabbits myself. Until recently, I was fostering primarily dogs. I have 2 shepheards and 2 pitbulls permanently placed in my home, as well as a dwarf rabbit. 2 of my dogs are trained and registered as service animals. I have a very adaptable home with lots of indoor/outdoor play space, as well as space to be separated as needed. I are very particular about keeping our food and water bowls clean with washing every day. I am happy to love you fur babies! There is rarely ever a time my pets are home alone. They all free roam and coexist peacfully, so I have a very calm house usually. We have a go out/walking schedule we follow to ensure proper exercise, as well as a secure feeding routine. My fiancé works full time, so I am the full time caretaker of the animals. Stranger pets in my home are introduced calmly and carefully, as to maintain a safe environment for all. Higher energy dogs meet my shepheards first, calmer animals meet my old boy first. My animals stay leashed infront of guests until a calmness has been reached. I have separate feeding bowls for all animals, water is communal as to resist territorial behavior. If calmness can not be reached, I have space to separate any unrully animals as needed. As a stranger in another animals home, I aproach very calmly and happily to respect their space. I am very adaptable to understanding and applying a feeding/walking schedule. Play time is always important, and my favorite part of the day! Lots of play time and pets are given to fur babies.

We have a large backyard for fetch and a safe neighborhood for walks and adventures! One block over we have a small park area as well. We have no other animals in the house, just four college girls who are all missing our companions from home. In the house your dog can roam freely about and sleep in my room/bed with me, whatever they are comfortable with.

About: Hi! We are Hannah and Bierina. In order to provide the most flexible care possible, we work together to care for your fur babies. Quality care for animals is our forever top priority. Between us, we have trained puppies, had many senior dogs and dogs with special needs. (Epilepsy, etc.) Our biggest goal is to work with you to hear what works for your pet on the daily and find a way to recreate that in the new environment or match that in theirs! This way your fur babies know that they are safe, and the change of carer and environment creates the least amount of stress possible. I currently create my own schedule so I am able to facilitate flexibility around your pets and their established routines. I will work with you to make it as seamless as possible. I care for pets by ensuring I am communicating with their parents about their daily schedules and expectations; trying to replicate those typically ensures pets feel the most comfortable with consistency!

So there’s a lot of availability for either dog walks, emergency boarding needs, or doggy daycare options. We have a fenced in yard out back, and crate-and-rotate when needed. I am experienced in handling all behaviors of dogs, from the fearful/shy to the escape artist.

“Kari, Joseph, and their kids were phenomenal with our last-minute booking of our boxer, Peanut! Their home is beautiful and spacious in a lovely neighborhood. They’re communicative, provided a crate (which made our lives so much easier). They were flexible when we were a few minutes late to pickup and were totally understanding. We’ll absolutely book with them again!”

“Rackeem was awesome with my dogs while I was on vacation! He took excellent care of my fur babies and I highly recommend him! He provides daily updates and pictures so you can be assured your pets are safe and doing well while in his care. He's also a great trainer as well! Playing fetch in the back yard is a highlight in our home!

“Our dog Cooper seemed so happy during his overnight boarding. He normally doesn’t eat at first when being boarded but he was enjoying a treat and eating his breakfast within moments of being dropped off. We received thoughtful updates and photos and Cooper was relaxed, comfortable and had settled in so quickly. Fantastic communication and quick responses made our trip stress free; we knew our dog was in good hands!”

“Yvonne was very attentive to my stress over leaving my little girl in a new place. She gave me regular reports and tons of pictures. Will definitely use them again.”

“He was ok. As a first time user i would have appreciated more pics/video updates. My leash was misplaced, although he offered to replace. I liked that he was patient w/ my puppy who was nervous to enter his home in the beginning.”
