He accepted Nicole as one of his special people and behaved as well (if not better!) for her than he does at home. Nicole sent us photos of Nacho napping, taking walks and looking completely adorable while he was in her care; we could see how content he was and were able to have peace of mind while we were traveling. About: I have had cats as pets of my own my whole life. I tend to think I can be a bit of a cat whisperer. I love to follow their lead and allow them the play or space that is needed. I feel comfortable cleaning a littler box and can handle multiple cats at a time. I am also comfortable administering some medication and handling senior cats.

In the past, I have volunteered at BARCS as a dog walker and have helped family members & friends with their dogs while they were on vacation. I adopted a Senior Boston Terrier 4 ago so I took a break from Rover.com. She is older now so it is a good time to get back on rover part time until my schedule changes. I have been a dog lover since I was a baby. My mom told me I used to chase the dogs in my baby walker. My immediate family owned small dogs and the rest of my family owned medium and large dogs. Some of the breeds that I had with my family were pugs and a Pekingese. I have taken care of Cocker spaniels, Yorkshire terriers, German Shepard and black labs who were owned by friends/family. When I volunteered at BARCS, I walked dogs that were mostly pit bulls, rotties and mixed breeds (usually pit bull mixes). My experience administering medication I have experience with routine items like giving heart worm pills and flea & tick spray/lotion, as well as some experience with ear infection medication. I am not opposed to administering medication it if the owner is willing to provide training and if the dog is comfortable with me. I work full time. I’m available on a part time basis in the evenings during the week and on the weekends. If I’m off from work, I’m happy to help as well. I treat other peoples dogs like family. I don’t offer dog boarding in my home because my work schedule doesn’t permit it. But, if I’m house sitting at another persons home, I’ll make sure I’m following the instructions/routine from the pet owner, give the dog/s plenty of TLC, playtime and food. I’ll also make sure the dogs are secure in their owners home, and keep the place tidy.

My typical day is: wake up early, walk the dog I’m caring for, feed the pup, let out again, then teach yoga. I’m gone for about 3 hours then return home for a long walk with the pup :) then we relax at home as I typically work on my computer. Your pup will be the only dog in my house - he or she will have all my love and attention! I am happy to have your pet sleep in my bed and lay on my couch if they want! I love walking and have plenty of have time for long walks. I have training on how to safely handle reactive dogs on leash. My sister is a veterinarian and I have learned a lot from her in case of an emergency. I do not have a fully fenced in yard, but am happy to take your dog to the dog park if that would be helpful to release energy! The beach is also a short walk away :)

About: I have volunteered at the SPCA for three years, taking care of small dogs, large dogs, and even cats. I even take care of people's pets in my neighborhood. Currently fitting pet care into my daily routine is no problem at all. I am a part time college student but I don't go back until the winter. I stay at home full time so I will be able to spend all day with your pet. As far as pets go, I have a very friendly lab mix named Kaya and a cat named Snickers. I also have two leopard geckos named Mushu and Yoshi. Kaya is fed twice a day, morning and evening. And Snickers is a grazer so he eats whenever he wants. I have a fenced in yard which Kaya adores. Whenever other dogs come over I let them out into the yard so they can run around and play. The yard is about half an acre and the fence is 4 and a half feet tall.

About: I have three dogs at home! Lucy, Scotch and Sage! I’ve had dogs in my life since I was 8 (and I am now almost 24)! Well I’ve been around dogs since I was born because my grandparents love dogs too but I was 8 years old when my mom bought our first dog. Then after that they just kept coming haha! Everyone knows me as the dog lover because I really do think they are the cutest animals ever! I work from home so I’ll be able to be with the dogs at all times. About: I have experience with breeds extra small to extra large as we owned a jack Russell, chocolate lab, golden retriever, and mastiff/cane Corso mix at the same time. Currently, we have a 6 year old American bulldog named rosie who loves lounging and eating my daughter's toys.
