About: Hi I’m Jess! I’ve previously worked for petsmart and have owned pets all of my life! I’ve got experience as a bird owner for over 30 years with multiple types of birds and other animals such as dogs, cats, and handling small critters at Petsmart. About: I grew up with cats and a dogs, I now have a 2 year old cat. I love going on walks with dogs. I take care of my in-laws’ dogs and friend’s pets when they go out of town. About: I have owned dogs for the past 20 years, including a mastiff and pit/Shepard mix. I also grew up with cats. “We have a senior Shiba Inu with pretty bad separation anxiety as well as some arthritis issues. Boarding her has become more and more fraught these past couple years, which is why I was so excited to find Erin on Rover. When we had our meet and greet before going on vacation, our dog was legit disappointed when Erin left after 30 minutes! It was readily apparent that Erin has a genuine love for and knack with older dogs such that I knew she'd be perfect for our special needs doggo. Dropping our dog off before vacation is generally pretty stressful for all involved, but not with Erin--after spending 30 minutes getting our pupper settled, she was calm and not stressed about me leaving at all. That was a first! Erin was also very communicative while we were away. She provided loads of pictures and videos along with fun updates about how they were doing and any questions she had about our doggo's quirky behavior. Best of all, it was clear to me that Erin truly cared about our pup as much as we do. If I could give Erin more than five stars I would. We will definitely be sending our Pippa back to "Camp Erin" next time we're away!”
