About: Growing up I have always lived helping others and even helping animals. As a young kid, I grew up surrounded by all kinds of animals. Although my college plan is to become a special education teacher, I have always had a passion for animals. I really enjoy giving animals a voice and creating special bonds with them. About: Taking care of animals brings me so much joy! I live at the beach and love walking dogs through my neighborhood to the beach. I am comfortable controlling big, strong dogs on walks. I grew up with 2 dogs and have always loved animals. My sister is a veterinarian and has taught me a lot. She is on call if your animal has any health issues. I’m in a career transition right now, so your business so greatly appreciated ❤️ I am a yoga instructor working part time, so I have a lot of time for your pets! My typical day is: wake up early, walk the dog I’m caring for, feed the pup, let out again, then teach yoga. I’m gone for about 3 hours then return home for a long walk with the pup :) then we relax at home as I typically work on my computer. Your pup will be the only dog in my house - he or she will have all my love and attention! I am happy to have your pet sleep in my bed and lay on my couch if they want! I love walking and have plenty of have time for long walks. I have training on how to safely handle reactive dogs on leash. I do not have a fully fenced in yard, but am happy to take your dog to the dog park if that would be helpful to release energy! The beach is also a short walk away :)
About: I have had dogs since I was a kid. I enjoy there company and since retired now I could not ask for a better thing to do every day. The unconditional love for pets is the best medicine in life. I walk everyday about 5 miles so walking your pet is a added plus. I so enjoy the companionship. I babysit my Friends dogs frequently and dog walk another friends daily while she is at work. Pets tend to make you happy and smile because they always are. I find that just that makes your life happier. I would love to meet your pet and give them great walks and playtime while you are away. About: FYI--Recently retired from the Federal Government. I did a Katrina mission to offer counseling to those who lost their homes. However, I was asked to volunteer in a pet shelter because the pets were abandoned due to the crisis at hand. It was one of the hardest things I have ever done. I figured I could do it, if I didn't look the pets straight in the eye (to prevent the heartbreak and the tears from flowing). Well, one little doggie who was in the corner of her pen shaking and shivering, grabbed ahold of my ankle as I was walking out of her pen (after cleaning it and feeding and watering her) and she wouldn't let go. She dragged her little butt along the concrete flooring as I tried to close the gate. I broke down into tears immediately and said "okay, I'll take you home with me and the cat in the pen next to you". Yes, I rescued them both... Or should I say they rescued me..from Empty Nest Syndrome. They have brought so much love into my life! My Mississippi Mud Pie (Boston Terrier) has now gone to Doggie Heaven and I want to provide love to other's pets in honor of her memory. My schedule has recently opened up more since retiring from the Federal Government, and I have a lot of time to devote to other's pets and animal care. When a dog is in my care, I provide very frequent walks and cater to your pet throughout the entire time they are with me. I like keeping animals happy and content. I provide a safe, trusting and caring environment. I am very nurturing and provide excellent care and attention. I am very attentive of animals needs.

“Nacho is a very selective Chihuahua who immediately adored Nicole. He exhibited none of the signs of anxiety he generally does when he meets someone new (or even someone he has met several times). He accepted Nicole as one of his special people and behaved as well (if not better!) for her than he does at home. Nicole sent us photos of Nacho napping, taking walks and looking completely adorable while he was in her care; we could see how content he was and were able to have peace of mind while we were traveling. Nacho will definitely be staying with Nicole the next time we need a dog sitter.”
