“She was absolutely lovely! I felt completely comfortable trusting her with Frodo. She kept us updated with adorable pictures, and it was clear that he was getting plenty of play, attention, and love. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I’ll definitely be booking with her again next time!”

“This was Rae's third stay with Tina and Jordan, and once again they were absolutely wonderful. As repeat clients, we already knew Rae would be in great hands, but they still exceeded our expectations. They sent plenty of photos and videos throughout her stay, which we always appreciate, and it was clear from every update that Rae was happy, comfortable, and treated like part of the family. Seeing how excited she is to be with them gives us so much peace of mind when we're away. Tina and Jordan are kind, communicative, and genuinely care about the dogs they watch. It's not easy leaving your dog behind, but knowing Rae is with people who love and care for her as much as they do makes all the difference. We wouldn't hesitate to book with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional pet care.”

“This is the second time Addie has stayed with Lynsey for the weekend and we are so happy to have found her. She is wonderful and I feel 100% confident knowing Addie is being well taken care of.”

We will definitely book with them again.”

“We had a great experience leaving our Cocker Spaniel Alfred with John. Every part of the experience was excellent — John offered to meet us and Alfred the week before the drop off; when we dropped Alfred off John said he was going to spend some one on one time with Alfred to get to know him. It was easy and our dog loved his visit. We’ll be back again for sure!”

“We had such a great experience with Jennifer who care of our dog, Daisy, for almost a week. Jennifer was very communicative throughout the week - keeping us updated throughout our trip with thoughtful messages and plenty of photos showing Daisy relaxed, happy, and clearly enjoying her time with Jennifer and her family. It gave us real peace of mind knowing Daisy was in such caring and capable hands. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with Jennifer again—highly recommended!”

“Karina always does a wonderful job of taking care of our big, shy pup. She has made him feel so comfortable in her home, and now when we take him to stay he runs to greet her, so he has really adopted her into his family! Also, Jared has been fantastic in encouraging Sancho to feel relaxed. We can't thank them both enough for giving us peace of mind for our dear one, when we have to be away.”

“Outstanding! Alan and Luis provided extraordinary care for our Black Lab mix Annie while we were on vacation for a week. They are truly the best! Compassionate, friendly, caring, trustworthy are just a few words to describe Alan and Luis. The house is beautiful with a gated fence and a "kiddy pool". Annie truly enjoyed her stay and playing with the other guests as evidenced by her disposition when I picked her up and the the daily photos. I will always check first with Alan and Luis in the future when I need a sitter for Annie.”

“I immediately felt confident about choosing Kimberly for my cat Mako after reading her profile and reviews. During her first visit, everything went smoothly, and I’m relieved knowing he’ll be well cared for while I'm away longer in July. Thank you 🐾”

“Anna did a fantastic job caring for my cat for two weeks while I was away. He is slow to warm up, but she was patient, professional, and clearly knew how to make him feel safe and comfortable. By the end of the stay he was totally at ease with her. Super attentive, kind, and reliable! I’d absolutely trust Anna again to take care of my cat!”

About: I have a strong understanding of feline nutrition and know how important it is to keep cats mentally stimulated and comfortable in their space. I’ve also supported a mama cat through pregnancy, delivery, and raising her kittens. I treat every cat like my own and make sure they feel safe, understood, and well cared for while you’re away. 🤍
“Marisa stayed at our house for more than two weeks, caring for our cat and plants. She did an exceptional job! Our cat was very content and hardly seemed to miss us, which really shows how comfortable she was with Marisa. I would recommend her to anyone, and we would be delighted to have her house sit for us again!”

“This is the third time that Tara took care of our treasured cat, Charlie. It is not easy to leave your pet for weeks; but when Tara is on the case, we can rest easy. Tara is dependable and a true animal lover. We adore her spirit and positivity. Charlie usually makes a mess, but we always come home to a tidy home. We plan to book Tara again and again. Thanks, Tara.”

“Lynsey is incredibly reliable and keeps great communication while watching your fur babies. She is our go to sitter and enjoy our trips knowing she is giving our cats and gecko the best care!”

“Above and beyond does not begin to describe it!! For a recent visit, there were problems getting into the house and the landlord had to be called, which meant extra time for Priscilla. She communicated excellently and stayed to wait for the landlord to come with the correct keys, then did the planned visit. She stayed because she loves our cats (and they love her). Priscilla is everything you would want in someone looking after your animals: caring, reliable, joyful, and an all around wonderful human. Thank you thank you thank you, Priscilla! You are an angel.”

“Ashley was awesome taking care of my babies one of them has extreme medical needs and she was great with her pictures were amazing. She cleaned my house. She cleaned the cat boxes. She’s very communicative. I will definitely ask her back again. She was timely and my babies loved her. Thanks dooo much Ashley”

“Katie took such good care of my kitties! She stopped in prior to our scheduled pet sitting to meet my cats, which was much appreciated. She did everything I asked, and made an effort to give my kitties some playtime, even though they were being shy. She provided lots of pics and feedback after each visit, which I love to see, as I worry about my girls when I can’t be home with them. We will definitely be using her services again! ?”

“She was awesome taking care of our cats! She’s very good at giving oral medication so I felt comfortable with her giving meds to our boy. Thank you so much!!”

About: I’ve had multiple cats throughout my life. I love them a lot. I know all the ways cats love to play and just hang out. I also am good with nervous cats and have helped cats work through some stressful times like moving. Even timid cats usually warm up to me fairly quickly a lot of times people will be surprised when their cat comes out to me. I own a small dog who acts like a cat because he grew up with them and it’s very amusing.

About: I enjoy the outdoors and taking a walk. Your dog will have lots of play time, as well as fun, treats, food and water. I just like having a dog around to keep each other company so they are not home alone for long time period, you know getting into mischief we can do that together and have more fun haha. I currently do not have any dogs but will get one when the time is right. I have enjoyed and attended dog shows showing for obedience and agility(Dalmatians). I also attended and passed the canine good citizenship test with my first dog. My second dog was adopted and we did agility and was a lot of fun. A dog is a companion in which you meet other dog friendly people. I'm currently working full time but would have time to care for your fur kid/s before and after work, get mail, water plants, check house. I do not have a fenced yard so would take your fur kids out on a leash at your home or if fenced and you chose for them to be loose at your home.

About: Do you have a 150 year old pissed-off cat that hates everyone? Well I am here to give them treats, scoop their ..., and hopefully capture a photo of them in a tiny sombrero without creating any more bite or scratch scars on my hands and arms......and face....

Happy to walk and play with dogs inside and out.
“Left my baby for a trial stay. While it was hard to leave him literally crying Katie was so great about assuring me things had calmed down a few minutes later and all was good. I appreciated that peace of mind. Katie was also great about super responsive and timely communication. We would definitely reach out again.”

“Karina was WONDERFUL! Our dog hasn’t been boarded a lot in her life, and has been nervous when she has, but she was comfortable as soon as we walked into the yard and so calm and happy when we picked her up! Karina was so communicative before and during her stay, and I appreciate how through she was with what to bring and making sure all the dogs in her care are up to date on vaccinations. We are so happy with our stay and will definitely bring our dog back!”

About: Hi paw friends 🐾 I am somewhat new to Rover but I have grown up with dogs my entire life. I have always helped my family and friends care for their animals and I always enjoyed doing it. My husband and I got married four years ago and our little girl is three. It's so amazing to see her interact with the dogs because she gets more comfortable and happier each time. My husband and daughter are my best pet helpers when I am not around. Our family loves dogs and we will eventually get a dog when the time is right, but I love Rover because it’s give me the opportunity to still bond with pups. I truly love being around animals. Our families sometimes come to stay with us with their dogs and I get a crazy burst of happiness every time. Life is just better with a dog around and I would love to care and help with your pups! :) I know it can be tough trusting your animals in others hands but rest assured that your pet will be in great hands with me & I will send plenty of updates and pictures 📸🐾 I currently work part time (every weekend). So I am free to take care of your pups during the week and still on weekends when I’m home. My amazing husband and daughter are my best pet helpers when I am not around. I still offer some services on the weekends. I will care for the pet how the owner(s) want me to care for them. They will always bed fed, hydrated, clean, warm, and the happiest they can be in our home. Our home isn't that big so someone is always around. I am not much of an out-going person, I do have a good amount of friends but they all come to my house since I am the mama of the group :)
About: I’ve always treated dogs like part of the family, not just pets. When your dog stays with me, they’ll be in a home environment where they get real attention, affection, and care…not just supervision. My goal is for you to feel completely at ease knowing your dog is comfortable, loved, and well cared for. They have a huge back yard to enjoy running around with their tongues hanging to the ground lol! We usually bathe them outside before heading in on hot summer days. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I’m home throughout the day. This allows me to give consistent attention, regular potty breaks, feeding on schedule, and plenty of supervision to make sure your dog is comfortable and well cared for at all times I currently have three small, well-socialized dogs who are friendly and enjoy meeting new dogs. Any dog in my care becomes part of our routine and is treated like family. Our day starts around 6 AM with the first potty break, followed by consistent outdoor time every 3–4 hours. I have a backyard, so the dogs get plenty of supervised outdoor play, along with daily walks for exercise and stimulation. I keep a structured but relaxed environment. My dogs are on a routine that includes feeding schedules, treats, and basic obedience reinforcement like sit, stay, and lay down. This helps create a calm, balanced atmosphere where all dogs can feel comfortable and settle in easily. My goal is to provide a safe, loving, and well-managed home where your dog feels like they belong

“We met Katie for a meet and greet and scheduled a dog walk together. I have 2 rescues who are both anxious and get nervous with new people. She has been very patient with them and asked lots of questions to better understand their behaviors. Katie has been great with our dogs and they are warming up to her. I will definitely be booking with Katie again.”

“Theresa is the best! She provides highly individualized care and is so kind and easy to work with/ communicate with. She is very observant and competent with dog behavior and is the perfect match for our sweet energetic 11 year old boxer mix!”

“Steve was fantastic with my three dogs! His calm, easygoing energy made a noticeable difference right away. One of my dogs, Dolly, typically needs some time to warm up to new people but almost immediately she was walking happy and relaxed. This honestly blew me away. It's clear Steve has a natural way with dogs. I'd highly recommend him, especially if you have a pup that can be a little hesitant with strangers. We'll definitely be booking again!”

“Priscilla is kind and bonded with my dog instantly. This is my first time using a service like this and I can't tell you what a relief it is to know my dog is loved by her as much as I do. Highly recommend.”

About: When I was 10 I joined a dog training program through my school, that’s where my training experience began. I provide a premium, low-volume dog care experience for owners who want their dog to have more one-on-one attention in a calm home environment. Your dog won’t be just one of many in a crowded space. I keep my care more personal so each dog gets plenty of attention, supervision, and outdoor time. I have a big yard for dogs to enjoy, but my indoor space is smaller, so I am very intentional about keeping the number of dogs low. That means I can focus on your dog’s comfort, safety, and overall experience much more closely. This is a great fit for dogs who do better with a quieter setting and for owners who value quality of care over high-volume boarding or daycare. I generally only take one to a few dogs at a time unless they are from the same household. I have a lot of experience with senior dogs. I took care of my childhood dog for 17 years of her long, beautiful life. I have experience working with small senior dogs specifically and I know all the little things that they appreciate. I also have experience with large dogs and can handle very big strong dogs. I also love hiking with dogs so if you have an energetic dog you need to burn off energy I am your guy. I have an acre yard with a fenced in front yard in a nice area. Any dog that boards with me would be treated like my own dog and let out very frequently to go to the bathroom and play outside. I would always remain home with your dog. Thank you for considering me and I hope to meet your pet soon! I’m currently a fully remote student so I am fully available. If I board a pet I will be with them full time to make sure they receive the care they deserve. I have a fenced in front yard, and a good amount of unfenced land in the back. My dog is very friendly and would keep your pet great company. He loves dogs and cats. I can easily crate your dog if needed, but would love to give your dog the pet experience and treat them like my own. I live in a nice are and have great access to the woods nearby as well.
“Jesse was fantastic! He was communicative and took great care of my pittie! He send pictures and was trustworthy while in my home and respectful of my property. I would absolutely hire him again!”

About: I’ve been pet sitting for over three years. I’ve had various experiences with dogs and cats. As someone who has a dog of their own, I’ve been able to observe behaviors that’s helped when taking care of other dogs, to understand their needs and wants. I currently work remotely however, it doesn’t take time away when it comes to the fur babies! In fact, it allows me to be present and give them the much needed attention. I understand the environment the pets are settled in. I give daily updates to the home owner, making sure that any anxiety of leaving their pets behind is relieved. I bring my own food and care.

I know what its like finding someone who is trustworthy to care for my dog when I need to travel for work or personal vacation. It can be a bit stressful looking for a good sitter but I can assure you that your dog will be in good hands.

I also care for two other dogs, so I’m very comfortable with different personalities and needs. I’m patient, reliable, and understand how important it is to keep your dog safe, happy, and well-exercised. You can trust that I will treat your pet with the same love and care as my own I’m currently working on part time and go to school, but I have morning availability, so I can make sure your dogs are taken care of early, giving you one less thing to worry about. I provide a safe, loving, and clean environment for all pets in my care. I make sure they are well fed, exercised, and supervised at all times. I follow your pet’s routine closely and ensure they feel comfortable and stress free. I also provide updates and will contact you immediately if there are any concerns or emergencies. Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priorities.
About: Since childhood, dogs have been an integral part of my life, starting with two Pomeranians, followed by an energetic Shiba Inu named Akira, and a loving lab mix German Shepherd named Stella. Over the years, I've gained extensive experience caring for these pets—whether through cuddling, playing, feeding, walks, or adventures. I've also spent time teaching them tricks and handling their grooming needs. Earlier this year, I began offering overnight and day sitting services, along with walks, for friends on Rover, and later extended my services to family and other referrals. I focus on building strong bonds and trust with the animals I care for, tailoring our time together to ensure it's both enjoyable and enriching. I've worked with dogs ranging from 4-month-old puppies to older dogs aged 13-14, and have experience with both a kitten and an adult cat. My approach is patient, compassionate, and dedicated to meeting the unique needs of every animal I care for. I'm a makeup artist who works both on location and from home. With a flexible schedule, I currently have plenty of free time to spend with your dog! **Dog Walking**: I tailor each walk to the dog’s individual energy level, adjusting the pace and distance to ensure they get the right amount of exercise. I also provide opportunities for exploration while keeping safety in mind, and I’m attentive to any health considerations or special preferences they may have. **Overnight Sitting**: When staying in a client’s home, I prioritize the pet’s comfort and security by sticking to their regular routine as much as possible. This includes consistent feeding, potty breaks, playtime, and providing companionship to ease any anxiety, particularly during the night. In everything I do, my primary goal is to build trust with each pet, providing them with a safe, loving environment where they feel cared for and valued—whether I’m working in my own home or in a client’s.
About: I grew up with as many as 5 cats and two dogs at a time. I am familiar with caring for most pets including rodents and fish. I work from home so taking a break to walk or feed pets is not an issue. There is even some extra time to give them some attention too! My dog has free roaming permission in the backyard and we also have a cage for large dogs available. For visiting dogs we walk them on a leash since they are not familiar with the area.
About: I have taken care of pets since I was a little girl. I have had two long term jobs at different dog kennels. Which then resulted in me being able to acquire multiple pet sitting jobs. I have experience in pet sitting, dog walking, dog daycare, and some dog training! I am currently a stay at home mom. Both of my children will be starting school soon and I would love to get back into doing what I love with pets! I will make sure to spend as much time with your pet as you desire. Making sure they get all the love, food, treats and playtime they need to make everyone happy!
About: My name is Kristina Leigh. I recently turned 42 years old ( in human years) I have spent the majority of these years sharing my life with dogs. I have experience working as a groomer, working at a pet store, and I also have Emergency 24hr Veterinary Hospital Clinic experience. I took classes at Northwestern CT Community College in the Vet Tech program. I have loved 3 amazing senior sweet rescue pitbulls throughout my adult life, and countless four-pawed friends in between. I am not a stranger to exotic reptiles, amphibians, and small rodents of all varieties. This includes my lifetime passion for fresh and salt water fish care. I am very calm, gentle, and patient when it comes to caring for senior dogs and nervous pups. I have basic first aid pet knowledge, but most importantly I have common sense. The most important thing to me personally, is to completely put your mind at ease. Your pets are in great hands. I know and understand as a pet parent the worry that often comes with being away from your pet. That being said, I can guarentee that proper care, respect, and instructions will be shown and followed with your animal and within your home. But I am certain that you will feel at ease by how your pet behaves in my presence. I love animals, and they know it. Trust and respect are incredibly important for me when I am choosing who cares for my pet, my dog is my little chubby dumpling princess. The absolute best is what I ask and expect, and that is what I give to your own little buddies. I have my own transportation, and can accommodate new changes in schedule in a reasonable amount of time. My schedule is flexible, and so is my character. I am more than willing to help create a solution when one feels impossible. All you need do is ask. Things happen; life happens, and hopefully you will feel that choosing me as your pet's Auntie makes things much easier for you. I take the safety of your furry family member very seriously I have training experience walking bouncy puppies, "pully" pooches, and slow older doggos. I am patient, calm, and know my surroundings at all times during the walks. I can help teach your dog proper leash etiquette if it is wanted I absolutely love spending time around dogs and animals. This is my passion, and if I could do this for free everyday, I would. I have plenty of time to put towards the care of animals. I have a detailed schedule that I follow, and everything is organized and on track. I understand that while caring for animals, extreme care must be taken. I have been called over-protective when it comes to my own pets. But it is for their own protection. Unfortunately, they lack the legal rights that humans have. I am very careful when other animals are around (especially leash-less wildcards coming in hot towards myself and the dog I'm walking ) therefore, it is my choice to not allow strangers to pet any animal I am caring for. Similar to working dogs. There are too many negative examples of pets becoming unfairly removed from their homes because of some untrue accusation. An example is this: You've definitely seen dogs " smiling" to their owners. Some dogs just learn that behavior, and it is far from aggressive behaviour in their minds. Now say someone asks to pet your dog on a walk. The dog smiles, and it is misinterpreted as aggression, person is scared, maybe they act in a way that is embarrassing once they realize they aren't in danger. Maybe they create a scenario in their minds where they were bitten and then they want the " violent" dog put down. and then that is where the mess begins. Safety first!

“My two pups had an overnight with James and his family. We have been looking for a new sitter for more than 6 months since ours moved to another state. The girls came back happy and tired. I got updates and photos while they were with him. We will be using James again.”

“My dogs were with Nell for the first time for 2 nights, they came home very happy and tired! I can tell they were very comfortable in her home and we’d definitely book with her again!”

“Robin is always so wonderful with our dog, Adelaide. She does regular drop in visits with her so when we need boarding services, Robin is always our first choice! She shows our dog so much care, attention and love.”

“We had a great experience with Kate! Our dog, Sampson, stayed in her home and was very well cared for. Communication was easy and consistent, and we felt completely comfortable knowing our pup was in good hands. Sampson is pretty easygoing, but it was clear he was treated with attention and kindness. We will definitely book with them again.”

“Katie was so kind and caring with our sweet senior dog! Our dog needs a gentle, patient care giver and Katie was perfect for her. Katie was responsive to our messages and reliable. We will definitely board our dog with Katie again!”

“Maria is amazing . Sawyer had the best time I think he misses her already. She is so sweet even sent pictures of his stay at her home. I can't say enough he will be back again when we are away would never go anywhere else.?????”

“Dexter is a passive 17+ yr “old” man. Laura was great with him. He often gets separation anxiety but was very comfortable and relaxed with her. She was very attentive updating us by sending pics and videos which confirmed he was very much at ease with her and her family. We’ll definitely use her again. Thanks Laura!”

“Anna is compassionate, and communicates very well! She was extremely positive when my dog has trouble adjusting and always willing to try something to help. Her care made a world of difference! Highly recommend Anna as a dog caregiver and a human!”

“Wow, my daughter Nina (My dog is my daughter)- had the bestest stay ever!! Jill is now my Goddoggymother !! She sent photos daily, updated me on her activities, and my pooch came home so happy and at ease. I didn't sense any separation anxiety that I was thinking i'd see... she was just a happy clam... I was so hesitant on getting a sitter online, but after meeting with her, seeing her beautiful home, and getting that feeling of animal lover from her- I was set- and I was RIGHT... book this lady here, she's worth it!! Jill I will be brining Nina to visit Tucker for a doggy play date.. hugs!”
