About: I love all animals, but I am a cat person. I believe that people who say “cats are just fine on their own. Leave out food and they won’t even notice that you’re gone for two weeks“ just fundamentally don’t understand cats. I have lived with shy cats, grumpy cats, sweet dumb cats, aggressive cats, sometimes all at once. They are all individuals and that’s how I approach each one. I don’t believe that any cat wants to be taken out of the place where it feels most comfortable, its home, and therefore I do not offer boarding. I would love to meet your cat in your home and take care of both its basic needs (clean litter boxes, food and water) and its need for companionship and enrichment. Some cats don’t mind a stranger and they’ll be happy to play with me. If your cats are anything like my boys Moose and SquirreI, I won’t even see them because they will hide the moment I walk in the house. That’s fine. I have no problem sitting quietly and allowing them to get used to my presence. Either way, your cats will get the benefit of the full amount of contracted time. I will never just feed, scoop, and run. I have given medications to cats and if your cat needs that, we can discuss it. As we both know, sometimes it is easier said than done so any special requirements are something that we would need to talk about before the booking.

About: I enjoy the outdoors and taking a walk. Your dog will have lots of play time, as well as fun, treats, food and water. I just like having a dog around to keep each other company so they are not home alone for long time period, you know getting into mischief we can do that together and have more fun haha. I currently do not have any dogs but will get one when the time is right. I have enjoyed and attended dog shows showing for obedience and agility(Dalmatians). I also attended and passed the canine good citizenship test with my first dog. My second dog was adopted and we did agility and was a lot of fun. A dog is a companion in which you meet other dog friendly people. I'm currently working full time but would have time to care for your fur kid/s before and after work, get mail, water plants, check house. I do not have a fenced yard so would take your fur kids out on a leash at your home or if fenced and you chose for them to be loose at your home.

I have one cat that is very difficult to find and she went out of her way to find him and take a picture! About: I’ve had multiple cats throughout my life. I love them a lot. I know all the ways cats love to play and just hang out. I also am good with nervous cats and have helped cats work through some stressful times like moving. Even timid cats usually warm up to me fairly quickly a lot of times people will be surprised when their cat comes out to me. About: I’ve always treated dogs like part of the family, not just pets. When your dog stays with me, they’ll be in a home environment where they get real attention, affection, and care…not just supervision. My goal is for you to feel completely at ease knowing your dog is comfortable, loved, and well cared for. They have a huge back yard to enjoy running around with their tongues hanging to the ground lol! We usually bathe them outside before heading in on hot summer days. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I’m home throughout the day. This allows me to give consistent attention, regular potty breaks, feeding on schedule, and plenty of supervision to make sure your dog is comfortable and well cared for at all times I currently have three small, well-socialized dogs who are friendly and enjoy meeting new dogs. Any dog in my care becomes part of our routine and is treated like family. Our day starts around 6 AM with the first potty break, followed by consistent outdoor time every 3–4 hours. I have a backyard, so the dogs get plenty of supervised outdoor play, along with daily walks for exercise and stimulation. I keep a structured but relaxed environment. My dogs are on a routine that includes feeding schedules, treats, and basic obedience reinforcement like sit, stay, and lay down. This helps create a calm, balanced atmosphere where all dogs can feel comfortable and settle in easily. About: Hi paw friends 🐾 I am somewhat new to Rover but I have grown up with dogs my entire life. I have always helped my family and friends care for their animals and I always enjoyed doing it. My husband and I got married four years ago and our little girl is three. It's so amazing to see her interact with the dogs because she gets more comfortable and happier each time. My husband and daughter are my best pet helpers when I am not around. Our family loves dogs and we will eventually get a dog when the time is right, but I love Rover because it’s give me the opportunity to still bond with pups. I truly love being around animals. Our families sometimes come to stay with us with their dogs and I get a crazy burst of happiness every time. Life is just better with a dog around and I would love to care and help with your pups! :) I know it can be tough trusting your animals in others hands but rest assured that your pet will be in great hands with me & I will send plenty of updates and pictures 📸🐾 I currently work part time (every weekend). Pets are allowed on the furniture, unless you state explicitly state you don't want them to be. I prefer not to kennel overnight, but there are always exceptions to the rule! I am able to help with puppies and older pups alike; age is not an issue. Please ask any questions you may have for me, thank you so much we can’t wait to meet you! About: When I was 10 I joined a dog training program through my school, that’s where my training experience began. I provide a premium, low-volume dog care experience for owners who want their dog to have more one-on-one attention in a calm home environment. Your dog won’t be just one of many in a crowded space. I keep my care more personal so each dog gets plenty of attention, supervision, and outdoor time. I have a big yard for dogs to enjoy, but my indoor space is smaller, so I am very intentional about keeping the number of dogs low. That means I can focus on your dog’s comfort, safety, and overall experience much more closely. This is a great fit for dogs who do better with a quieter setting and for owners who value quality of care over high-volume boarding or daycare. I generally only take one to a few dogs at a time unless they are from the same household. I have a lot of experience with senior dogs. I took care of my childhood dog for 17 years of her long, beautiful life. I have experience working with small senior dogs specifically and I know all the little things that they appreciate. I also have experience with large dogs and can handle very big strong dogs. I also love hiking with dogs so if you have an energetic dog you need to burn off energy I am your guy. I have an acre yard with a fenced in front yard in a nice area. Any dog that boards with me would be treated like my own dog and let out very frequently to go to the bathroom and play outside. At the moment, I don’t offer care in my own home since I have multiple pets. However, I’m happy to provide care in your home or take your dog out for walks. I make sure pets feel comfortable in their familiar environment while sticking to their usual routine.
About: I grew up with dogs and have always loved caring for them. I currently have a mix breed, Marley who is my little sunshine. I enjoy hiking, running and watching cartoons with him haha. I know what its like finding someone who is trustworthy to care for my dog when I need to travel for work or personal vacation. It can be a bit stressful looking for a good sitter but I can assure you that your dog will be in good hands.
About: I've been working with animals for over 10 years. I love them all! I've done pet sitting for all types of critters over the years...from rabbits and ferrets to chickens, dogs and cats. My goal is to keep them happy while family is away. A happy pet is a stress free pet. Whether it be walks, cuddles on the couch or ball in the yard, we will do what's needed to be content. Having experience in a veterinary setting, I'm also qualified to administer medications to any pets that may require it. I'm the mother of 2 beautiful girls. We presently have 3 rambunctious cats and a guinea pig in our home. We just lost our beloved dog at 17 years of age. We all enjoy crafting and hiking in our spare time. I currently work in a 2 doctor animal hospital. I have a talent for multitasking. I can stay over (house sit) or depending on location, make up to 3 visits daily, as needed. I have complete respect for the homes of allvpets and their people. I also will take the trash out, pickup their waste in the yard or clean litter boxes, bring the mail in and water the plants.
About: I grew up with as many as 5 cats and two dogs at a time. I am familiar with caring for most pets including rodents and fish. I work from home so taking a break to walk or feed pets is not an issue. There is even some extra time to give them some attention too! My dog has free roaming permission in the backyard and we also have a cage for large dogs available. For visiting dogs we walk them on a leash since they are not familiar with the area.
About: I’ve had and taken care of cats my whole life. Friends and community members have relied on me for all of their pet care needs. I currently work a part time job with non-consistent hours. My best availability is on the weekends but I can make any weekday hours work. I do not offer any doggy daycare or boarding services, however I can effectively offer all pet care services from staying at your house to keep your pets happy to stoping by and walking, feeding, and having play time with your pet.
About: My name is Kristina Leigh. I recently turned 42 years old ( in human years) I have spent the majority of these years sharing my life with dogs. I have experience working as a groomer, working at a pet store, and I also have Emergency 24hr Veterinary Hospital Clinic experience. I took classes at Northwestern CT Community College in the Vet Tech program. I have loved 3 amazing senior sweet rescue pitbulls throughout my adult life, and countless four-pawed friends in between. I am not a stranger to exotic reptiles, amphibians, and small rodents of all varieties. This includes my lifetime passion for fresh and salt water fish care. I am very calm, gentle, and patient when it comes to caring for senior dogs and nervous pups. I have basic first aid pet knowledge, but most importantly I have common sense. The most important thing to me personally, is to completely put your mind at ease. Your pets are in great hands. I know and understand as a pet parent the worry that often comes with being away from your pet. That being said, I can guarentee that proper care, respect, and instructions will be shown and followed with your animal and within your home. But I am certain that you will feel at ease by how your pet behaves in my presence. I love animals, and they know it. Trust and respect are incredibly important for me when I am choosing who cares for my pet, my dog is my little chubby dumpling princess. The absolute best is what I ask and expect, and that is what I give to your own little buddies. I have my own transportation, and can accommodate new changes in schedule in a reasonable amount of time. My schedule is flexible, and so is my character. I am more than willing to help create a solution when one feels impossible. All you need do is ask. Things happen; life happens, and hopefully you will feel that choosing me as your pet's Auntie makes things much easier for you. I take the safety of your furry family member very seriously I have training experience walking bouncy puppies, "pully" pooches, and slow older doggos. I am patient, calm, and know my surroundings at all times during the walks. I can help teach your dog proper leash etiquette if it is wanted I absolutely love spending time around dogs and animals. This is my passion, and if I could do this for free everyday, I would. I have plenty of time to put towards the care of animals. I have a detailed schedule that I follow, and everything is organized and on track. I understand that while caring for animals, extreme care must be taken. I have been called over-protective when it comes to my own pets. But it is for their own protection. Unfortunately, they lack the legal rights that humans have. I am very careful when other animals are around (especially leash-less wildcards coming in hot towards myself and the dog I'm walking ) therefore, it is my choice to not allow strangers to pet any animal I am caring for. Similar to working dogs. There are too many negative examples of pets becoming unfairly removed from their homes because of some untrue accusation. An example is this: You've definitely seen dogs " smiling" to their owners. Some dogs just learn that behavior, and it is far from aggressive behaviour in their minds. Now say someone asks to pet your dog on a walk. The dog smiles, and it is misinterpreted as aggression, person is scared, maybe they act in a way that is embarrassing once they realize they aren't in danger. Maybe they create a scenario in their minds where they were bitten and then they want the " violent" dog put down. and then that is where the mess begins. Safety first!

About: I’ve had pets my whole life, from dogs and cats to hedgehogs, lizards and birds I can take care of anything! I currently have a Sphynx named Simon and a pair of Sugar Gliders, Kiwi and Roo!
