“I can’t recommend Maria enough! She provided exceptional and extremely compassionate care for our dog, Pluto, who boarded with Maria and her family for almost 3 weeks. I was very anxious about leaving Pluto with a stranger because he has some complicated health issues. However, before Pluto boarded with Maria and her family, she came to our place to meet us and discuss Pluto’s needs. She reassured us that she knew how to deal with seizures and could administer Pluto’s pills. Maria was great about reaching out when Pluto was experiencing stomach problems and was very responsive whenever I reached out for updates. She regularly sent us photos of Pluto enjoying his time with other dogs. The fact that Maria also has her own dogs and boards other dogs was a huge plus since Pluto is always with our family at home or at doggy daycare, so he hates being alone. In addition to being highly experienced in pet care, Maria is also extremely compassionate. I always felt that Pluto was in the best hands possible. Maria made a very difficult situation for my family easier since we knew he was getting the best care possible. Thank you so much, Maria! But when we picked him up from Monique he was happy and healthy like we’ve never seen him after a stay somewhere. She took great care of him, made sure he ate, took his daily pill, got exercise in her yard and sent us daily pictures to show how he was doing. Would recommend her to anyone. About: Hi, I’m a loving friendly fun pet owner. Reliable and trusty here for your pet 🐶 I’ve always had a cat or dog growing up. Have been a sitter for friends over the years. Happy to say the pups are always excited for the visit and stays. Im available Friday evenings anytime after 6pm through Sunday mornings until 10am. I work every day of the week until late afternoon but please feel free to inquire for night drop off and early am pick up if needed. My dog is a small breed pet friendly weighting about 15lbs. I normally take him for walks and he has most the day of free play as I rarely crate him but is an option. I also have a gate if needs to be used for a break to calm and relax from too much excitement .

“Erin instantly made us feel comfortable leaving our 3 kitties for a week. She offered to come meet us and the cats before booking, and we loved her. One of our cats takes time to build trust and sometimes won’t eat for a bit while we’re away. Erin took the time to build a relationship with her and tried a few different things to help her feel comfortable eating for someone new. Erin spent time with all three cats, played with them, and helped them feel comfortable trusting her. We got pictures after every visit, and excellent communication about how they were doing. Our selective eater was coming out of hiding and eating her food consistently much quicker than she has for others who have come to feed them while we were away. About: I've been taking care of animals, including horses, since elementary school. I’ve had 3 cats, 4 horses, and 2 dogs throughout my life. I recently lost my dog to cancer, and I’m sure my kitty misses having his best friend around. So if your dog is cat-friendly, I would love to watch them! I currently work from home. Watching a dog for a day, multiple days or scheduling a break to come walk your dog would not be a problem. I’m located close to downtown Wallingford and there are great places to walk (especially with a dog!). I know how to care for all ages of dogs, including the elderly and I have experience giving medications. Requested information about your pet Please let me know the schedule of your fur baby - what time they get walked, what time they are fed, etc. I would like to have your fur baby keep to their schedule as much as possible. Also let me know any little tricks or specifics for your dogs, how long they like to walk, if they like to go out immediately after eating, etc. Please let me know the demeanor of your dog as well - are they aggressive? Get a long with other dogs/cats? Anything else! I want to make sure they receive the best care! :) Since I work from home, I am able to schedule breaks to take dogs out and go on longer walks (even hikes!). I can board in my house weekdays and weekends. I have a cat who misses his doggy sister, so he does well with dogs, but he rules the roost! I can crate dogs if needed. I also try to keep my house as non-toxic as possible (chemicals, cleaning supplies, etc) for the health of my pets.

She took incredible care of our cat Mochi while we were on our honeymoon; not only making sure Mochi had food and some socializing while we were away, but she also brought in a few packages we had delivered while we were gone. She even made sure the litter box was clean when we got home. About: I grew up surrounded by many cats. A lot of them were strays that found their way into our backyard, and we ended up caring for them and keeping them. Cats are very special to me because they have always been my favorite animals. If you trust me with your cat, I’ll treat them like they’re my own (even if they spend the entire visit pretending I don’t exist). I’ll make sure they have fresh food and water, keep the litter box clean, and give them all the attention they’re willing to accept—whether that’s chasing toys, getting chin scratches, or simply being their personal butler from a respectful distance. About: I rescued my own dog from a shelter, and she required a lot of special training and patience. I worked with her on socialization, leash walking, and reducing pulling and barking around other dogs, and I have successfully helped her improve in all of these areas. Since she was a puppy when I adopted her, I also have experience with the patience, consistency, and care that younger dogs require. About: I have been owned by cats my entire life and have taken care of dogs of all kinds for family and friends for years. I am comfortable with giving medication to cats, including insulin shots. About: I am a huge animal lover and have spent a lot of time rescuing homeless cats in my neighborhood. I have trapped 20 stray cats, vetted them, and found them homes. From this I have 7 of my own cats. I also have rescued two dogs from shelters. One is a Pitbull and the other an English Bull Dog. Growing up I always had pets around. As a Special Education Teacher I am available all weekdays after 5pm and I have complete open availability on weekends and school vacations (December, April). I have no problem with high energy or needy animals. I am comfortable cleaning up pet messes, playing, walking, and providing medicine if needed. I will do anything an animal needs.

I also have days off that need to be filled with more joy and more animals! With a lot of free time, I can make sure your fur baby is never alone and bored! I’m also new on rover as a sitter and I’m super excited to start meeting new pets! I have 2 mini golden doodle puppy one named Tobi and one named Rylee. They are as playful and energetic as they can be. I provide them with attention and energy anytime they need/ want and they control my whole world! This would be no different than taking care of your pets too! Every pet deserves love so I will provide that level of comfortability! I adapt to your pets as if they are my own.
About: I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life and have experience caring for dogs of all different sizes, breeds, and personalities. I’ve always loved spending time with dogs and making sure they feel comfortable, happy, and cared for. I also have experience caring for dogs while babysitting for families, including feeding them, taking them outside, playing with them, and giving them plenty of attention. I’m responsible, dependable, and would love the opportunity to help care for your dog like they’re my own! I’m currently a graduate student, so I have a pretty flexible schedule with plenty of openings between my classes. This gives me a lot of availability throughout the week, and I’m happy to work around your schedule and your pet’s normal routine! I always want pets to feel safe and comfortable around me. I allow each animal to move at their own pace when getting to know me and give them the time and space they need to build trust. I never force interactions and will always respect your pet’s boundaries while making sure they feel cared for and loved.

She took great care of him, made sure he ate, took his daily pill, got exercise in her yard and sent us daily pictures to show how he was doing. Would recommend her to anyone.
