About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and took the responsibility of taking care of and training our family dogs. They all turned out great with my first dog becoming a therapy dog helping children. Can’t imagine a world without a dog by your side! I currently work in a school system so during holidays, school breaks, and the summer I’m the most free but can always help once I get out of school as well. Great backyard with a pup to play with. About: Grew up on a farm caring for animals since my youth. now enjoy the company of visiting dogs, just like I had with my own. I currently work part-time and many situations able to bring a boarding dog with me; as I work with mostly older folks who would love the sweetness of a dog visit; considered therapy. About: I have over 30 years experience with dogs working with my mother who bred Golden Retrievers since 1990 at Maplenook Goldens. I've also worked through my college years with over 5 families pet and house sitting and loved it! Also worked with Ledgewood Kennels and taken obedience and breed handling classes at Southlands in Rhinebeck NY. I would love to have a part time job and working and training dogs is my dream job. About: I've taken care of dogs for the past 8 years. We (my husband and I) have rescued and adopted 3 dogs all within the past 5 years. We live on a large piece of land and have plenty of room to play fetch and go on walks. We even have a stream for a little dip or sip. We are patient and love to play over here. I believe cuddles and attention are extremely important! I work from home so I am around a lot and am always with the dogs, they are never alone. I am able to take them out regularly for walks and to play. We tend to go outside quite a bit on a nice day. I have a large property away from the road. We have a gate and a meadow nestled back in the woods where there are no cars in sight. We have a small fenced in area if that is what a particular dog needs to spend some time outside.

As a country mom of four children, we had two horses, chickens, four rabbits, three cats and at times snakes and salamanders under my kids’ bed...without knowing…at any time, any of these critters if not already in our house, could be in our house! My longest sit was three months as a ranch sitter in Colorado, I cared for two horses, two donkeys, chickens, three sheep, two lambs, a cat and dog. Currently, I sit locally for friends and family…walks, day care and overnights. I’m available most days to walk, play, sit or just hang out with your pets! I do travel to see family, best for all to reach out ahead of your desired dates and services. I am available on a case by case basis for overnight sits in my home. Over the last 12 years I’ve gone to school and graduated as a Veterinary Assistant/Veterinary Technician, currently in school for my B.A in Veterinary Technology. Taking care of animals is truly my passion whether it be in my hospital, at home or for family and friends, all pets truly get treated as if they were my own. It truly gives me joy knowing I’ve made a small difference. With all that has been stated above I do have a full time job as a ER/ICU Veterinary Nurse. I do have hour lunches if needed. Also I will add since making my profile active again, I am a single mother to a adorable 14 month old little boy. So with that being said I would only be able to book house sittings when he is with his dad. ALL pets in my care are treated like my own.
