About: My love of dogs led me to start a dog walking business when I was only 10 yrs old. Once I finally convinced my parents to get a dog, I was 15 and we ended up with two bichon-malteses who were the loves of my life. As an adult, my career has me traveling frequently so I haven’t become a pet owner, but I continue to dogsit for friends and neighbors because I love the companionship when I’m home. I am committed to providing your dog a comfortable home away from home where they will be well cared for and loved. I work from home Mondays and Fridays so can be available for care for a long weekend (Fri-Sat-Sun-Mon). My availability may be limited based on work travel. I live in a dog friendly building, where there is greenery and walking paths around the building for daily walks and enjoy going for longer walks in nearby parks.

About: Ive been a professional dog walker for 7 years in my neighborhood. Everywhere I go they ask where are the dogs?? Ive had many satisfied clients. I have slots for more dogs daily. Small dogs are my preference since I have in a small area for them to play in. Overnights are fine too. I have a main play room in my space for smaller dogs. Large dogs may need an overnight pen to rest in overnight for dogs over 30 pounds.

About: I have had dogs, cats and birds my whole life. I love all animals and my pets are my kids! I left the corporate world in January 2019 to do what I love, which is caring for and spending time with animals! My schedule is extremely flexible. I can go to your home for walks, feeding, playtime and administering meds. I work weekends and well as weekdays. Overnights would need to be at my home, because I have a a 6 year old Shihpoo who is the sweetest dog you could ever meet! I live in a dog friendly apartment complex in the Harbor Point section of Stamford. There are three nearby dog parks and plenty of sidewalks and safe potty areas right outside my building. I’m very active and love to go on long walks. My apartment is spotless and always safe for dogs. I am very careful about leaving anything around that would harm them. In addition to the insurance covered by Rover, I have my own liability insurance and am bonded as well.

About: I have been an animal lover my whole life. Your sweet pet will be loved just like they would be at home. I have experience with all dog sizes and temperaments. Your pet will be the focus of my day under my care. I love to be active and outside but happy to adjust to whatever your pet prefers. Your pets will be cuddled, walked, played with, and have a fun stay in safe hands with me. They will be treated with love and care.

About: I have grown up around dogs my entire life and I couldn’t imagine it any other way. Spending time with animals is my happy place and nothing brings me more joy than caring for and playing with them. I have a great deal of experience taking care of many dogs of various breeds and sizes. I currently have the flexibility to fully dedicate myself to what I would call my dream job which is working with animals. I can go on long or short walks and have an enclosed dog park around my area. I have taken care of dogs with medical problems and have experience giving dogs medicine such as eye drops and pills. I am a quick learner when it comes to the specific conditions the owner has for their dog .

We met once before leaving him for 4 days and immediately he seemed at ease, and I should note our dog Marty is pretty nervous around new people and new dogs. Nicole sent regular updates and each one showed a very happy pooch. He seemed very at ease with the family dog Dakota and bonded with their son. We will definitely ask Nicole and her family to dog-sit again and highly recommend her to anyone.”

“Margaret was wonderful! From the moment I reached out she was on top of her communications and was very helpful with making us feel at ease with boarding our puppy. She provided a checklist for his stay which was extremely helpful and she answered all the quesitons we had in a timely manner. While our puppy was at her house, she checked in daily and sent photos which we greatly appreciated. Margaret also went the extra mile and made recommendations for useful training tips and tools for our puppy. We will be boarding our puppy again with her in a few weeks!”
