“Kyla was a superb sitter for our young pup. We were so anxious over having to leave him with someone as he has had a tough time already in life with being born in a street in Texas, then having to stay in a shelter in a pen for almost three months to then being brought to Tennessee to a shelter where he was adopted by us. Then he had to take a long Trek to Connecticut in a semi trailer with 150 other dogs crated the whole trip where we picked him up. He is very anxious and not use to other people or animals. I must say Kyla was super great with Franklin. She did everything we had asked even down to the insane feeding ways we have. We left a long list with Kyla as if we were leaving a human child and she fulfilled each and every one and then some. She is a very caring, kind and loving animal sitter. Her house is super clean and a great environment for any pet. Her children are just the cutest and very helpful with the animals. They love animals and are very gentle with them which was so cute to see. Kyla was super great about sending daily pictures and updates to us about Franklin. She keeps things very professional and I will certainly recommend her to anyone who wants a home away from home for there pet while they vacation or work. About: I got my first dog when I was 5 years old. Now, I have three dogs total, each with their own unique personalities. I love taking them on walks and making them homemade treats. I am used to taking care of dogs of all ages since I have raised mine from when they were puppies , to adulthood. I have also recently adopted a kitten so I’ve been gaining experience with caring for cats as well. I am currently taking an online summer class, so I have plenty of free time. On Fridays I am usually free from 7am to 5pm. Since I have been caring for dogs almost my whole life, I understand the importance of keeping them safe while on walks. About: I’ve been taking care of all different types of animals from lizards to ferrets to turtles and, of course cats and dogs since before I can remember! All of my life I’ve had and taken care of happy and healthy fur babies of my own that I treat with the utmost love, care, and attention so I’ll definitely treat your fur baby like my own as they should be treated. I’m currently a stay at home mom and I go to school online but outside of that I love taking care of my fur babies and other fur babies as well and have free time and availability to do so! About: Hello! I’ve been caring for animals since I was 12 years old and got my first dog sitting gig. Over the years, my family has had every kind of pet: horses, sheep, dogs, cats, birds, iguanas even! I find great joy in showing the animals I work with lots of love and guidance. I’ve trained my own and others' horses, dogs and cats over the years and it’s just the most rewarding experience. I work part time and mostly from home which allows me to be available all day to care for pets. I’m a big fan of a consistent routine with animals rotating stimulation (exercise, play, training or enrichment) meals, rest and balancing the three. I care for pets on my property which is almost entirely fenced in. I have professional kennels in a mixed use building with a residential portion attached. So I have the luxury of providing secure stalls with the addition of our open more homey areas. I can take most types of pets and I’m especially suited to care for animals that do not do well in large boarding facilities, don’t do well with other pets or just want a more personalized, quiet boarding experience. I don’t believe it is always necessary to socialize dogs with dogs and right now that’s not something I do (unless they are boarding from the same owners). I focus on routine, a bit of training and connection with humans! I have a fenced in run where dogs can be off leash for playing, enrichment etc. I designed our kennels myself and had them custom built. Each stall is separated by concrete walls to provide a private and safe space. I chose mental fencing for the top of the partition and the door. I chose this instead of the plastic, glass or solid door options because it provides optimal airflow and allows them to see out. I also have private suites separate from that area.

About: I decided to try letting a husky pull me on roller blades 27 years ago, and a bond was created that I am convinced was the greatest thing ever. I became an aspiring writer and began researching dogs, playing with them and loving them all the same. I understood that some people just had that dog thing, but I wanted to know why. Still working on my writing, and still researching, I started roller blading around Webster lake with a rescue puppy this past year. I remembered the incredible joys that a dog would have discovering the freedom, and it's really incredible. I don't claim to be a dog whisperer, but I have learned from studying dog behaviors and personalities. Honey has been incredible this season. Some dogs would rather just sniff, and it's arguably the most incredible of dog traits. Sometimes finding the space to run can be a challenge, but even just on a walk, it's all about giving them the chance to choose when you can. I have been an educator as a substitute and a paraprofessional, and enjoyed 20 years with a number of schools and institutions. Coaching tennis, track, and rock climbing, I love giving new experiences. As director for an adventure camp or as recreation games coordinator, I was able to incorporate a team into all the fun. Relying on the service industry for work, I have developed my communication skills in many fields. 3 years working for the May Institute with adults with severe disabilities gained me a humility not found elsewhere. In the Healthcare industry I found incredible individuals who just fit their calling, and you were better for being around them. The last 2 years I have traveled the state as a licensed pest technician solving homeowner problems, and keeping people safe. I enjoyed being a source of information, and health, and was careful to appreciate coming into someone's home and life. I'm currently planning on returning to school to attain my message therapy certification and utilize my background in health. It's a good plan with modification, and I am hopeful that Amazon flexibility will help. I'm the kind of person who starts with a smile, and believes that kindness is always an option. I understand that taking care of your animals and home is a sacred thing, and I will remain transparent and available. Our yard is fenced in, and our two rescue dogs enjoy their space very much playing and running around. About: I am athletic and have always grown up around animals. I work at a pet boarding/daycare facility that allows me to get additional experience. With that being said, I have handled several breeds including different diets. I have handled Yorkies to Mastiffs and love them all! Puppies are the show stoppers but tend to lose control at times so I am willing to work on standard obedience commands as well. I’d be more than happy to play according to the dogs ability and health. I understand how important it is that animals receive their medications and meals at a timely manner. “Kyla was a superb sitter for our young pup. We were so anxious over having to leave him with someone as he has had a tough time already in life with being born in a street in Texas, then having to stay in a shelter in a pen for almost three months to then being brought to Tennessee to a shelter where he was adopted by us. Then he had to take a long Trek to Connecticut in a semi trailer with 150 other dogs crated the whole trip where we picked him up. He is very anxious and not use to other people or animals. I must say Kyla was super great with Franklin. She did everything we had asked even down to the insane feeding ways we have. We left a long list with Kyla as if we were leaving a human child and she fulfilled each and every one and then some. She is a very caring, kind and loving animal sitter. Her house is super clean and a great environment for any pet. Her children are just the cutest and very helpful with the animals. They love animals and are very gentle with them which was so cute to see. Kyla was super great about sending daily pictures and updates to us about Franklin. She keeps things very professional and I will certainly recommend her to anyone who wants a home away from home for there pet while they vacation or work. We will definitely use her pet boarding services again.”

“This was our first time using Rover for our 9 month old puppy Bo. Samantha is amazing!!! She took such great care of Bo! He is a little timid still, but since getting home yesterday from Samantha’s, he went up and down with no problem. She even gave us tips and tricks to use if he was reluctant.
