“Saori was great. Our one year old lab was in heaven at their place. We received a puppy that was well cared for and had gotten a lot of socialization and exercise is a safe environment.”

“Pam is so communicative and always shares photos of the pet :) she took such a good care of Tofu that Tofu cried and didn’t want to leave when we had to pick him up 🤭 thank you so much, Pam!”

“Annette is truly a dog/animal lover. After our meet and greet, we felt very comfortable leaving our pups in her hands for our wedding. I did not stress once that they were not being well taken care of. Annette has set up her home to be prepared for all pets’ personalities. When we picked our dogs up, Annette gave us a full and detailed report of how their stay was. They left happy and relaxed! Thank you, Annette!”

“We had a great experience with Kate! Our dog, Sampson, stayed in her home and was very well cared for. Communication was easy and consistent, and we felt completely comfortable knowing our pup was in good hands. Sampson is pretty easygoing, but it was clear he was treated with attention and kindness. We will definitely book with them again.”

About: I have been grooming dogs for over 18 years, and boarding clients' pups in my home for 16 years. My 13 yr old homeschooled son and I adore all dogs. We have 2 wonderful medium sized girls (Myla 8, Josie 1.5) who love all dogs and people! My career in grooming means I truly 'speak dog' and understand their quirks and needs. I have extensive experience with all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I'm comfortable administering oral and injectible medications, as well as supplements. Our dogs eat a raw diet, so food & water bowls get sterilized after each meal. Since we homeschool, we spend a lot of time at home or close by with friends. My son often has friends over who love to play with dogs. This means we have a great balance of calm & quiet time, as well as active & fun time. Our lovely property has Invisible Fence for about a acre, so any dogs trained on it get to enjoy lots of untethered play time. Every dog who stays gets a temporary ID tag with my address and phone number in case of accidental 'escape' We love couch cuddles, and both of our girls sleep in bed with my son. We also have dog beds everywhere, and crates & gates available when needed.
“Mary Ann boarded/took into her home my Daizy, a 12-year-old toy poodle, while I had surgery. The best recommendation comes from Daizy who kept looking for Mary Ann after Daizy came home! My little was pampered, cared for and spoiled and I couldn’t have been more pleased. Highly recommend!”

“Our dog, Bagel, enjoyed a wonderful vacation of his own with Nicole! This was his second time staying with Nicole. Bagel is pretty social so being able to play with Nicole's own dogs as well as any other boarders was just the best treat for him. Nicole's daily pictures and quick updates gave peace of mind and assured us that we made the right choice for boarding. Thank you and we will definitely be back!”

“We had such a great experience with Jennifer who care of our dog, Daisy, for almost a week. Jennifer was very communicative throughout the week - keeping us updated throughout our trip with thoughtful messages and plenty of photos showing Daisy relaxed, happy, and clearly enjoying her time with Jennifer and her family. It gave us real peace of mind knowing Daisy was in such caring and capable hands. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with Jennifer again—highly recommended!”

“Nicole was great to work with and we really appreciated her availability on short notice. She gave us many updates over a short period of time, we felt very comfortable with her!”

“Jessica was great at watching Gwen! She was able to accommodate our last-minute request after another sitter cancelled. She was very communicative about Gwen’s stay and sent plenty of photos and updates. She took great care of our little pup!”

“Jillian was a great sitter! We were nervous about leaving our pup with someone new but she was great. We checked in frequently and she was quick to respond with updates and photos!! We will be booking again!!”

“Contacted James kinda last minute. We met that evening and I dropped my dog off the following night. He must've had fun cause when I picked up up the following evening he was tired from all the playtime. Would definitely use again”

“I appreciated that Valerie offered a meet and greet prior to caring for our dog. It went very well and it was clear that she can be trusted with our dog that we love so much. She cared for our dog for a long weekend and was sure to send pics and detailed updates daily. We will definitely ask Valerie to watch our dog again in the future as she assured his safety and happiness while we were gone.”

“Yajaira was very accommodating with the drop off and pick up times. My pup Rain was not as excited to see me as I thought she would be so she obviously was well taken care of and comfortable in Yajaira's home. Much better option than the kennel based boarding. Thank you Yajaira for loving my pup for the week.”

“Chestnut had a wonderful experience. I appreciated Lilliana sending me daily pictures of Chestnut so my daughters could see him enjoying his stay. Thank you again Lilliana for taking such great care of chestnut.”
“Sue was absolutely wonderful with Ollie! She was kind, attentive, and took great care of him throughout his stay. Communication was effortless, as she was always prompt with her replies and kept us reassured with regular updates. We also really appreciated how flexible she was with her schedule, easily accommodating our drop off and pick up times. Ollie had a fantastic time with her, and we could not have asked for a better experience. We highly recommend Sue to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog sitter!”

“Isabel was great! Excellent communication before and during stay, with lots of pics. She was very patient with our older, anxious dog. Excellent physical space with lots of room to play safely. Would absolutely recommend Isabel.”

“Aliya was very conscientious and attentive to the kitties. She was here every day, checked on the cats, fed them and checked their litter boxes. We would definitely have Aliya cat sit for our babies again in the future.”

“Anna did a fantastic job caring for my cat for two weeks while I was away. He is slow to warm up, but she was patient, professional, and clearly knew how to make him feel safe and comfortable. By the end of the stay he was totally at ease with her. Super attentive, kind, and reliable! I’d absolutely trust Anna again to take care of my cat!”

“Emily is sweet and loving. She clearly loves animals and our two pups love her. Emily is dependable and prompt and quickly responds. We are planning to have her back on regular schedule.”

About: I am a veterinary technician, I take care of dogs, and cats. I have 3 dogs, 2 cats, a guinea pig, fish and 2 pet pigs myself. I have been in the vet field for about 10 years I work part time currently, I work 2 days a week, so I will have plenty of time with your pets, they will get a lot of attention while staying with me I don’t have a fenced in yard, but I will take your pets out on leash. I have 3 dogs to keep your pets company while you’re away. I will crate in the event that I have to leave my house during the day. I will crate at night if the owner prefers that
About: I am an animal lover here to help! I grew up with animals, and have 3 dogs and 2 cats of my own. I also owned ducks and chickens for several the years. I have many years experience with a variety of medical issues pertaining to dogs and cats, including allergies and epilepsy. I also have years of experience in dog and puppy training (not professionally), including adopting my own puppy 2 years ago. That same puppy is now approved and undergoing training to be a psychiatric service dog. My other 2 dogs are also well trained. Although we’re happy to take it easy, we also love to hike and would be happy to take your dog along! I work with animals full time and love it! My schedule changes based on the needs of my clients for that week, and I adjust as needed. My pets are my babies! I have a fenced in yard, with a dog door to access it. It does close, and can be kept closed during the day if needed as my dogs are extremely well trained, and also have the option to access to my home office (a separate building in the back yard) if needed. They have full range and free access to the downstairs, except we discourage them being in the kitchen. Our dogs are kept from the upstairs by a secured baby gate. They are allowed up there, just usually attended because the puppy sometimes confuses her human sisters toys for her own! We have a large property with a trail that we take our dogs up to, and also live very close to several hiking trails that we frequent. One of our dogs had to retire from long walks and hikes, so he stays home now, but he still loves a good car ride and a short easy walk!
“Ziggy had a great time spending the day with Jaylese for doggy daycare! They went on a nice walk and Ziggy came back happy and sleepy. She accepted my request last minute and was a breeze to work with - highly reccomend!”

“Kennedy has a fabulous time with Samantha and Michael and their adorable kids! We got updates and pictures and they were very quick to respond. We were very happy and would highly recommend them! Kennedy would love to come back to play!”

About: Dogs thrive on calm structure and that’s exactly what I provide. I create a controlled, low stress environment where dogs are calm, well managed, and set up for success. I’m a sitter with formal training in dog behavior, and I’m currently continuing my education through an accredited, science based training program. My approach goes beyond basic pet sitting, I focus on structure, clear boundaries, and reading behavior to prevent issues before they start. I specialize in dogs that need structure and guidance, whether that’s anxious dogs, easily overstimulated dogs, or dogs adjusting to a new environment. My focus is helping dogs stay calm, regulated, and comfortable, not just physically tired. Every dog is handled intentionally and with clear structure, not as part of a chaotic group setting. Pet care is my full-time work, so your dog’s routine becomes part of my routine. Meals, walks, rest, enrichment, and any training cues you already use are followed as consistently as possible. I keep things structured and predictable so dogs, especially anxious, reactive, or easily overstimulated ones, can settle in and feel secure. My home is structured, supervised, and calm, not a chaotic group setup or a free for all. Dogs are introduced thoughtfully, given clear boundaries, and supported with a predictable routine so they feel safe and secure. I tailor the environment to each dog, including decompression time, quiet space, and supervised social time only when appropriate. My focus is always on behavior, safety, and preventing overstimulation or unsafe situations. My approach is best suited for dogs who can follow structure and benefit from a calm, well-managed environment. I am not a good fit for dogs that rely on constant high energy group play or a completely unstructured routine.
“Nicole was great with my dog Annie for our doggy day care trial run for a future Annie boarding. This is the first time that I've been away from my dog in quite some time and Nicole was equally great at easing my anxiety. Nicole has a natural presence around Annie and is solid in picking up her behavior and it was an overall nice and comfortable experience. Thank you!”

“Rachel has been great with my dog Hazel. She is great at communicating and letting me know the little details of the visit beyond just the path and basic report. I feel confident that my dog is in good hands while I am at work.”

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals throughout my life and have cared for pets of all shapes, sizes, ages, and personalities, from small and shy to big, energetic, and outgoing. Because of that experience, I’m comfortable adapting my approach to each pet rather than expecting every animal to respond the same way. I’m confident caring for both small and large breeds, energetic puppies, adult pets, and seniors who may need a little extra patience and attention. I’m also comfortable administering medications and following specific feeding, exercise, or care instructions. I understand that shy or anxious pets may need time and space to build trust, while more outgoing pets might be ready for playtime the second I walk through the door! Most importantly, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I’ll pay attention to the little things, keep their routine as familiar as possible, and provide plenty of love, patience, and reassurance. I also know how important peace of mind is for pet parents, so you can expect reliable communication and updates while your furry family member is in my care. 🐾❤️ Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, and I have the flexibility to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care. I’m happy to work around each pet’s established schedule, whether that means morning or evening walks, regular potty breaks, feeding times, medication, playtime, or simply keeping them company. I understand how important consistency is for pets, especially when their favorite humans are away, so I make maintaining their normal routine a priority. Whether your pet needs lots of activity and attention or prefers a quieter day filled with naps and cuddles, I’m happy to adjust my schedule to what makes them happiest and most comfortable. 🐾❤️ When I’m caring for your pet in your home, I want them to feel like their routine hasn’t skipped a beat. I’ll follow your instructions closely, from meals, walks, potty breaks, and medications to favorite toys, sleeping spots, and all those little quirks that make your pet uniquely yours. 🐾 Having owned and cared for animals of all sizes, ages, and personalities throughout my life, I’m comfortable with the shy ones who need time to trust, the big personalities who want to play nonstop, and the seniors who just want some extra patience and love. I also know you’re trusting me with two things that mean a lot to you: your pet and your home. I’ll treat both with the same care and respect I’d want for my own. Expect plenty of love, attention, photos, and updates, because being away from your pet is much easier when you can actually see that happy face! ❤️🐶🐱

About: Growing up, I had a Lab and then a Boxer and two cats. I've also helped my aunt at the doggie daycare she runs out of her home where she often has more than 10 dogs at a time. Everything from a Great Pyrenees to German Shepherds to Doodles to Yorkies. And it's always so much fun! The care I'll give your pets will really depend on them and their needs. There's a very large unfenced grass area behind my apartment building that would be perfect for walks or play. And there are multiple parks in the area too we could explore. At yours, I'd keep whatever their normal routine is. Whether that's taking walks, throwing the ball or just sitting and chilling and scratching butts. Their butts of course! About: I've been taking care of my own dog since we first got her 7 years ago, and I also used to volunteer at the New Milford Animal Shelter. My family fosters animals (both cats and dogs) from Because 4 Paws in New Milford, so I have some basic experience with administering medicines and helping others administer medicines. I've also been a dog sitter for 3 different families. I recently moved back to the east coast and am looking for some side work while I hunt for a full time job. I'm not sure when that will be, so I'm trying not to set my availability too far out, but am still flexible for now! Depending on what the owners are comfortable with, I would love to take the dogs out for a walk at a nearby park or walking trail. We have four cats at our house that are wary of new animals, so I am unable to pet sit at my residence. However, I am willing to spend time with your fur babies at your house or preferred location, and will follow whatever instructions necessary to ensure the comfortability of you and your pets.

I have been a show jumping horse trainer for most of my life, and caring for client’s pets while they were away just fell into place! From horses and dogs to a wide variety of different types of pets, I bring my knowledge, empathy, and commitment to every animal. After years of caring for many “regulars” in Santa Barbara, CA while their owners were away, I recently relocated to Roxbury, CT, where I offer high-quality, attentive care in a safe and serene environment. My property spans over three manicured acres, with more than one acre fully fenced and wired—complete with automatically closing gates—providing a secure, pet-friendly space for dogs to play, explore, and relax under supervision. Whether providing in-home pet care, or hosting animals on my property, I treat every pet as if they were my own—with love, patience, and respect. I look forward to meeting new pets and their owners here in CT! I don’t accept pets from different families at the same time, and when I take on caring for your pet, that is my full time job. My dogs tend to like to run errands with me, when weather permits, so your pet is welcome to join, or they are all also welcome to hang inside my home while I am out. I am never gone for longer than 2 hours at a time, and I am yet to leave my dogs outside in the yard when away with all the wildlife around… I adjust to whatever your pet is most used to when they are in their own home. Fenced in and wire lined 1+ acre grass manicured yard and over two acres of manicured grass outside the fenced yard for those pups once they bond with me and will reliably come when called. Your dog can sleep on my bed or in one of the plush dog beds I have around my home. Each door has an alarm system that sounds when the door is opened, and cameras surrounding the property... I always have eyes even when I am out running errands.
About: I have 2 dogs, a cat, and a turtle! They each have unique needs that I tend to in our daily lives. I am an animal lover at heart! Our pets are our family and they deserve the best care we can give them. I am here to help lend a helping hand in giving your pet the best care possible. Whether you are going away for the weekend, or need someone to check-in while you are at work. I am willing to work with all kinds of animals and breeds. I am here to help! I am currently searching for work, and have lots of time at the beginning, middle, and end of the day to help give your pets the attention they need! I’m able to house sit if you are traveling, as well as available for dog walks and check-ins as needed! My animals each have unique needs when it comes to the attention they need and their diet. I carve out time in the day to give the special attention to each animal, that they deserve. I have a special relationship with each of my animals and couldn’t imagine life without them!

“Saori was great. Our one year old lab was in heaven at their place. We received a puppy that was well cared for and had gotten a lot of socialization and exercise is a safe environment.”

“Erika was wonderful! Highly recommend (and will to my friends as well). She was extremely responsive in preparation for our trip, and understanding of some special needs for our yellow lab. She sent pictures throughout, and was flexible when a winter storm messed with our plans (she stayed up late so that we could pick up our pooch). Thanks for taking such great care of our dog, and for being such a pleasure throughout this process, Erika!”

“Great experience from beginning to end. It was our first time leaving Gigi with a sitter. Dew kept us updated and sent photos, which was a great comfort to us. Will definitely use her again.”

“Our dog had an absolutely wonderful time at Laura’s. He returned home happy and tired. Laura was able to take our pup at the last minute and was gracious and communicated regularly with us.”

“Ryan EXCEEDED my expectations! He has an intuitive way with dogs. He is very knowledgable about dogs & dog behavior. Ryan is the real deal-- a true animal lover & kind, decent human being. He communicated well with pics and updates during my dog's visit. During our initial meeting I felt an instant rapport he had with my dog that put me at ease. His home is VERY dog-centric! The visiting dogs are not confined and are free to mingle and find their own place to relax. There are ample dog beds, couches, human beds and floor space for lounging and sleeping. I especially appreciate that Ryan limits the number of dogs he boards at one time to a very small group, & makes sure they vibe well together beforehand. The living space Ryan and his boarders occupy is all on one level, which is great for my dog with arthritis. There is a wooded trail for walks adjoining the yard, and a guest bedroom if a dog needs some quiet alone time. I would HIGHLY recommend Ryan and I plan to use him again!”

“My first experience with Rover couldn’t have been better. I dropped my puppies off at Jeff’s on my way to a spa in nearby Rhinebeck. I was nervous before I arrived but needn’t have been: Jeff was gracious and enthusiastic about caring for Ace and Buddy. His home and property was beautiful. I was immediately put at ease, I was confident that they were in good hands and would be safe and happy. They were. Jeff kept me updated with texts and photos and was very accommodating every step of the way. I intend to be a regular customer. I’m so relieved to have found such a kind, capable and reliable person to take care of my little guys when I am visiting the area.”

“Zivile H, and her own puppy Scarlet, are AMAZING! Zivile watched our young, energetic English Setter for nearly three weeks—we had only boarded him once before and were not sure how he would do—and Zivile retuned him calm, better behaved, and bathed (with shiny fur!). We now send Douglas back for play dates, because Zivile and Scarlet ensure he has a blast. Douglas comes back to us tired, happy, and clean. We cannot imagine a better pet sitter.”

“I've used Veronica at least a couple times at this point and she has been nothing less thank fantastic. She has been fantastic at communication, great at scheduling room, and took amazing care of my Mika! Definitely bwill contact her again and I would encourage anyone to do the same.”

“Kyle was awesome. My two dogs had a great time with Kyle. One of them is usually nervous, but warmed up to Kyle immediately. Highly recommend and will definitely have them stay again.”
