About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and took the responsibility of taking care of and training our family dogs. They all turned out great with my first dog becoming a therapy dog helping children. Can’t imagine a world without a dog by your side! I currently work in a school system so during holidays, school breaks, and the summer I’m the most free but can always help once I get out of school as well. Great backyard with a pup to play with. Pets are allowed on the furniture, unless you state explicitly state you don't want them to be. I prefer not to kennel overnight, but there are always exceptions to the rule! I am able to help with puppies and older pups alike; age is not an issue. Please ask any questions you may have for me, thank you so much we can’t wait to meet you! I am currently working part time but I am always available for nightly drop ins or for any early morning stops on my way in. I am always respectful of your safety protocols, gates are always double and triple checked, doors are always checked to be shut correctly. Food and water levels are consistently monitored. About: I've taken care of dogs for the past 8 years. We (my husband and I) have rescued and adopted 3 dogs all within the past 5 years. We live on a large piece of land and have plenty of room to play fetch and go on walks. We even have a stream for a little dip or sip. We are patient and love to play over here. I believe cuddles and attention are extremely important! I work from home so I am around a lot and am always with the dogs, they are never alone. I am able to take them out regularly for walks and to play. We tend to go outside quite a bit on a nice day. I have a large property away from the road. We have a gate and a meadow nestled back in the woods where there are no cars in sight. We have a small fenced in area if that is what a particular dog needs to spend some time outside.
About: I have over 30 years experience with dogs working with my mother who bred Golden Retrievers since 1990 at Maplenook Goldens. I've also worked through my college years with over 5 families pet and house sitting and loved it! I do not have a fenced in yard and will take your pup for walks to ensure he/she is getting exercise. Our Dachshund can play with your dog inside, and can either accompany your dog on a walk or can stay behind while I walk your pup.

“Maggie was awesome! We left our two Cairn Terriers with her for two weeks. One is a young puppy that was 12-13 weeks when we left. Came back to two happy and healthy dogs and our puppy was clearly advanced in his crate and potty training. She was flexible with our request to extend their stay and even with a family medical emergency offered to make sure they were cared for. She has a heart for animals and is very protective of those in her care. They get very personal care and even our grumpy older Cairn was sleeping with her at night after a while!
