“This was our first time using Rover for our 9 month old puppy Bo. Samantha is amazing!!! She took such great care of Bo! He arrived to her with a fear of stairs from slipping on a couple of steps recently. Samantha worked on his fear while he was with her. He is a little timid still, but since getting home yesterday from Samantha’s, he went up and down with no problem. She even gave us tips and tricks to use if he was reluctant. About: My children and I absolutely love dogs, especially my 8 year old son. I work in the school system so we have the whole summer off to enjoy taking care of your pets! I live seconds from a walking trail so your pup can get plenty of exercise, love, and snuggles! I am available all summer long while school is out. July 1 through the end of August. “Sabrina was scheduled to do drop-in visits beginning Friday evening through Sunday morning, every 12 hours. Thor requires medication for his severe heart murmur and prolapsed valve - his medication helps to keep him happy and healthy. Sabrina arrived promptly at 6:00 pm, medicated Thor, fed Matilda and Winston (Ralphie was a no-show all weekend), but the others were fed, pet, and their litter boxes cleaned. Clearly, some fun was also had with the many toy options. The cats were well-maintained, safe, and happy - this is what matters to us! Thank you Sabrina for taking such time and care with our babies - and especially for sharing their pictures.”

I got pictures and videos of her stay 🫶 Taelor was super understanding when my work meeting changed times, and I had to drop chowder off a little later. About: Hello! I’ve been professionally caring for animals since I was 12 years old and got my first dog sitting gig. Over the years, my family has had every kind of pet: horses, sheep, dogs, cats, birds, iguanas even! I find great joy in showing the animals I work with lots of love and guidance. I’ve trained my own and others' horses, dogs and cats over the years and it’s just the most rewarding experience. I work part time and mostly from home which allows me to be available all day to care for pets. I’m a big fan of a consistent routine with animals rotating stimulation (exercise, play, training or enrichment) meals, rest and balancing the three. I care for pets on my property which is almost entirely fenced in. I have professional kennels in a mixed use building with a residential portion attached. So I have the luxury of providing secure and roomy kennels with the addition of our cozy home area. I can take most types of pets and I’m especially suited to care for animals that do not do well in large boarding facilities, don’t do well with other pets or just want a more personalized, quiet boarding experience. I don’t believe it is always necessary to socialize dogs with dogs and right now that’s not something I do (unless they are boarding from the same owners). I focus on routine, a bit of training and connection with humans! I have a fenced in run where dogs can be off leash for playing, enrichment etc. I designed our kennels myself and had them custom built. Each stall is separated by concrete walls to provide a private and safe space. I chose mental fencing for the top of the partition and the door. I chose this instead of the plastic, glass or solid door options because it provides optimal airflow and allows them to see out. I also have private suites separate from that area.

About: I have had pets in my life since I was a baby. We have enjoyed a lab, standard poodle and currently a mini cocker spaniel poodle mix. I love getting outside and being active with pets. I am at home with my daughter most of the time and I enjoy doing side hustles like selling vintage clothing online and seeking out antiques. I offer caring for pets in my client’s homes and always make sure to ask about fenced in yards, typical behaviors of the dog, any behaviors I need to watch out for for instance if a dog resource guards or is aggressive with other dogs or people, allergies, and any other precautions I need to be aware of to safely, effectively, and empathetically to take care of the animal. I also only do walks on sidewalks or non busy roads when possible.
About: I have been a dog owner (small. medium, large, house and sporting breeds) for 55 years and cat owner for 10 years. It is my passion to now take care of others pet needs. I am now retired and have plenty of time to help other manage the love of their pets when they are not available to do so. I cannot take care of pets in my home at this time. I rent and have 3 pets, significant other, a daughter and a grandson in the house.
About: I have had the pleasure of taking care of animals my whole life. My experience is with dogs of all ages, cats, and other small animals. I am experienced in giving special care (medication, etc.) and would love to care for your fur babies! I treat each Rover client as if they were my own. I have had a yellow lab for 16 years, a black lab for 13 years, and currently have two cats of my own. I currently work from home most days, with weekends off. My schedule allows me to fit pet care in very easily. I look forward to working with you! I ensure my pets have all they need and more, including new toys and items that keep them engaged. It is important for pets to have a clean safe space, always! I believe in giving pets the same quality of life as humans

“This was our first time using Rover for our 9 month old puppy Bo. Samantha is amazing!!! She took such great care of Bo! He arrived to her with a fear of stairs from slipping on a couple of steps recently. Samantha worked on his fear while he was with her. He is a little timid still, but since getting home yesterday from Samantha’s, he went up and down with no problem. She even gave us tips and tricks to use if he was reluctant. He enjoyed walks with Samantha and has a new friend, her dog Mac and got to enjoy playing with him. We were updated daily and I had no worries @ all while we were away. We will definitely use her again!”
About: My children and I absolutely love dogs, especially my 8 year old son. I work in the school system so we have the whole summer off to enjoy taking care of your pets! I live seconds from a walking trail so your pup can get plenty of exercise, love, and snuggles! I am available all summer long while school is out. July 1 through the end of August. I spend a few weeks teaching summer school- on those days I am home by 1 pm. Your pet will be safely cared for in my two bedroom apartment- with lots of snuggles, nature walks, and toys. I understand different dogs have different needs and I will cater to each pup as needed.

He was able to accommodate our two dogs very last minute (since our return flights were cancelled and we needed a new sitter) and then again he was very flexible to continue looking after our dogs when our flights were rescheduled multiple days later by the airlines. We appreciated the great communication and our boys were tired when we picked them up which is not an easy feat for our Australian Cattle Dog puppy! he definitely gave them lots of exercise and attention.
