“I had a family wedding to go to and wanted to find a safe and comfortable place to leave Winston, my young dorgi (half dachshund, half corgi) who had never been away from me since I was lucky enough to get him. Laura and her family turned out to be the perfect people and place. With a beautiful, safe home out in the country, a deck and fenced in yard where he could play, a open-plan house where he was visible at all times, Laura’s place was perfect. And the bonus: three little girls who adored him and lavished attention upon him, much to his delight. Laura, herself, was wonderful, caring, professional, delightful. She took him on long walks which he loved, texted me photos and updates on this progress during the stay, saw to his every need and even made some recommendations to me as to feeding bowls which might slow his eating down (he snarfs up his food in seconds!). I was afraid he wouldn’t want to come home. But I think he knows he can go back and stay in this home away from home which he will definitely be doing the next time I need to go away without him. I can’t tell you the peace of mind that all this brought me, knowing that he was happy and being well-cared-for and loved.”

About: I've taken care of animals since I was very little. I used to live on a farm and had responsibilities for feeding, walking, and caring for various animals. I am currently a full time online student in college and a stay at home mom with my 1 year old, therefore, I am free all day to care for your cats or your dogs! I take my dog for a walk around my quiet neighborhood in the evenings! She is a medium size dog with lots of energy! I also have 4 rescue cats that enjoy laying around the house being lazy. I have a fenced in backyard that is fairly large so your pups can get the zoomies and have a ton of space! About: Hi, My name is Brooke I go by Seven and my entire life has been surrounded by animals, from catching frogs, lizards, feeding the squirrels and always just having that touch even with the animals that don't trust or care for most humans. I have that special something. I started walking the whole neighborhoods dogs when i was 9 years old, i would walk up to 5 at a time. At the age of 13 i started volunteering for an animal rescue fostering dogs and cats. I was the girl growing up all my friends would bring stray or lost animals too. 16 i started working as a vet assistant, at 18 working a 150 dog ranch/doggie daycare and boarding facility to then move on into my early twenties working a place in Seattle called Dogwood Play Park, the first of its kind. It was an indoor outdoor 21 plus play park and daycare. Owners could bring their dogs to play while they had a beer and got to know other dog lovers, I built many beautiful dog... and people friendships there. I have always been told by the owners they that their dogs listens to me better..I say its just cause i am alpha pack leader!! I have massive respect and love for all animals. I worked in Portland Oregon on a farm in 2022 called Trisklee farm where i cared for all the animals on the property as farmer seven, i did weekend tours of the farm and helped run kids summer camp.I am very good with all ages and types of animals. My biggest strength is animal body language, i can read an animals move before they do it. Something i have picked up over my life span over working with animals everyday. Neighbors, family, and friends have asked me to walk, feed, and house sit for them for decades! I work at a restaurant 3-4 nights a week, therefore am available all day every day to care for your pets. I am also available on certain evenings as well, if needed. I have two cats of my own who require lots of love and attention (not that I mind!). I spend a lot of time grooming and playing with them, as I will with your pets when I visit them.
About: I have grown up with both small and large dogs in my life, from puppies to older dogs with medical needs. I am very careful and alert with my dogs to make sure they don’t get hurt or eat anything they shouldn’t. I love to be active and have experience with training, including leash walking. I have a soft spot for dachshunds, but I truly love all dogs. I am a teacher, so I have a flexible schedule during the summer. I have a lot of availability at night since I work part time during summer days and make my own schedule. I have a very clean home that is very pet friendly, since I have three dogs of my own - a dachshund, a black lab mix, and a cattle dog corgi mix. I can easily crate your dog or contain them in a room (included a gated kitchen) if requested. I also have two gated decks that my dogs love to sunbath on, a nice backyard, and sidewalks around my house for walks.

About: I’m pretty much a full-time stay-at-home dog mom to my two large dogs, so caring for dogs is already a huge part of my everyday life! I’ve spent months working on training with my own dogs and have lots of hands-on experience with different behaviors, routines, and personalities. I’m especially comfortable with large breeds, but I love dogs of all shapes and sizes. Your pup will be treated like part of the family while staying with me, with plenty of attention, playtime, love, and access to my fully fenced-in yard. I know how stressful it can be leaving your pet with someone new, so I’ll make sure you feel comfortable and keep you updated with plenty of pictures throughout their stay! Pet care is already a huge part of my everyday routine! I’m home most of the day with my own pets and have a very flexible work schedule, so your pet won’t be left alone for long periods of time. I’m able to provide plenty of potty breaks, playtime, attention, meals on their normal schedule, and lots of time outside throughout the day. I have a fully fenced-in yard with plenty of room for dogs to play and two dogs of my own for company. I always prioritize safe introductions and will make sure your dog is comfortable with mine before their stay. Pets are welcome to make themselves at home, and I can easily separate or crate dogs when needed. I’ll follow your pet’s normal feeding, sleeping, medication, and care routine as closely as possible and provide plenty of updates and pictures so you can feel comfortable while you’re away.
