Highly-rated overnight sitters - Brooklyn
“Jessica is great to work with. My two dogs seemed to have fun and were exhausted which is great! She is a caring provider who truly looks out for the needs of your dogs. I have a 14 yr. old and 5 yr. old labradoodle. We would not hesitate to use her again. She repeatedly sent us pictures of how they were doing, which is comforting as it was their first visit with her. We did a meet and greet beforehand which was also very reassuring!”

“Super accommodating with the short notice booking I requested! Steph is bright and friendly. She let me know if there were any issues with my pup. Would book with her again!”

“Erica, again, took wonderful care of Sully. He comes home happy, tired from romping with his friends and no whining. He ate well, also. We will continue to use Erica’s sitting service whenever she is available. Thank you!”

“Stay was awesome. They were super welcoming, accommodating, and were amazing with my puppy. She loved being there for the weekend and I loved the updates I got knowing she was ok. I love talking to them about better ways to train my pup and they are a great sounding board for a new puppy owner like me. I can't recommend them enough!”

“Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of Forest this weekend. It means the world to us knowing he was safe, happy, and loved while we were away. Your kindness, reliability, and genuine care gave us complete peace of mind, and we’re so grateful for the time and attention you gave him. We truly appreciate you and feel lucky to have someone we can trust with our furry family member. With heartfelt thanks, Dave and Ana”

“Samantha went above and beyond for our boys! We were visiting family in TN for the holidays. One of our boys came down with sudden and severe Lyme symptoms while we were gone. Samantha spent many hours with him in urgent care on New Year’s Eve. She even bought the workers there pizza! She was great at caring for him and giving him meds after. Her fenced-in yard and house arrangement are perfect for our boys. She sent daily pictures and videos of our pups playing with her dog Mac and snuggling with her family. We will definitely be using her again. In fact, if she’s not available, we might reschedule our vacation to a time she is!”

“Mallory and James provide a loving home environment for any pup they take in. The dogs are made to feel as a part of their own family. I know that Miss Kisses is safe, calm, and loved with Mallory and James.”

“Phenomenal care! Amber is a wonderful sitter, very caring, kind, empathetic and truly loves dogs. My Dante got a lot of love and attention. Amber communicated well, plenty of updates, pictures and videos. Best care for your furry kiddo! Highly recommend Amber as your sitter.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. Growing up, my mother was (and still is) a doggy foster mom for our local shelter. We constantly had 4-6 dogs in our home, most of which ended up staying long term. I have years of experience caring for multiple dogs and senior care as well! I work completely from home which will allow me plenty of time to attend to your pups needs all throughout the day. I love to jog and hike, so your pup will be sure to get plenty of exercise and outdoor time with me! I provide a safe, calm, and attentive environment for every pet in my care. Working from home allows plenty of supervision, potty breaks, playtime, and attention throughout the day. While I do not have a fenced yard, all outdoor time is supervised and dogs will always be kept safely leashed. I’m happy to follow your pet’s usual routine, feeding schedule, crate preferences, and any special care instructions to help them feel comfortable and secure.”
“I can’t say enough good things about Chelsea K! She took amazing care of my dog, Dexter, and went above and beyond in every way. Her home was spotless and provided such a clean, comfortable environment that immediately put me at ease. Chelsea’s attention to detail was incredible—she followed all of Dexter’s routines perfectly and made sure he felt right at home. What really stood out to me was her patience and genuine care. Dexter can be a little shy at first, but Chelsea took the time to help him feel comfortable and safe, which I truly appreciated. She kept me updated with pictures and messages, which gave me total peace of mind while I was away. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your dog like their own in a clean, welcoming space, Chelsea is the one to book!”

“Tiffany was a great cat sitter for our cat Vinny! She provided play time, regular feeding and litter changes, and went above and beyond by sending 5 pictures a day during and after her visits. We really appreciated how communicative she was and would hire her again in a second. Last but not least, her prices for cat sitting are incredibly affordable. Book her!”

“Sarah was phenomenal! We have a skittish cat that wasn’t adjusting well to us being gone. Sarah went above and beyond to provide enrichment opportunities for the cat treats for her to find & toys for her to locate. Highly recommend”

About: I grew up with four dogs over the past ten years! Friends and neighbors relied on me to walk and feed their pets and pet sit. I am currently a grad student going to clinical. “Madison is absolutely wonderful! She took such great care of our two dogs while we were away, kept everything running smoothly, and followed all of our instructions perfectly. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing our pups were in such good hands. Highly recommend!”

About: I have owned cats for the last 40 years. And while that makes me as old as dirt, it has also given me loads of experience when it comes to their care. In addition, working in rescue has taught me about trapping, medical issues, fostering, foster failing (it's a thing...but cat math is different than regular math so it's totally fine), giving meds, syringe feeding, etc.
“Mariah was great with our pups!! She was willing to come out prior to booking to meet the dogs and ensure they were comfortable. She communicated great, and was flexible with her schedule. Our pups enjoyed spending time with her!!”

“Cailey took care of my senior cat for an extended time and took great care of her. Cailey kept me updated on how my cat was doing, including for a period of time where my cat wasn’t eating as much. My cat will do this on occasion so I wasn’t concerned, and appreciated Cailey noticing and checking in with me about that. I would absolutely work with Cailey again, thank you!”

About: I treat every pet like family and make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I have experience with both playful puppies and senior dogs. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and always keep you updated! I’m a college student here in South Carolina who really misses my pets back home, so I’m looking for chances to care for other people’s pets while I’m at school. Spending time with animals — whether walking dogs, feeding cats, or just giving them attention — makes me happy, helps me manage stress, and gives me something meaningful to look forward to outside of my classes. In my home, pets enjoy a safe and relaxed environment. I have a friendly golden retriever who’s trained to stay in the yard, and a bunny who’s free to move around the house as he wishes. I make sure everyone stays comfortable and safe, supervise outdoor time, and always follow your care instructions closely—whether your pet is with me or I’m caring for them in your home.

“I can’t recommend Natalie enough! She did a tremendous job caring for our fur babies while my husband and I were away for ten days. She not only ensured they were well-fed but also took the time to genuinely get to know our cats, building their trust and making them feel safe and happy. Natalie truly goes above and beyond as a sitter, and her bonus skill is capturing the most beautiful, perfect photographs of our cats. We loved seeing their happy faces and feeling reassured with each update. When we returned, we found them content and well-adjusted, a testament to the care and attention she provided. I’ll definitely book her again in the future, and I can’t thank her enough for the peace of mind she gave us. Highly recommend Natalie for anyone needing a compassionate, dedicated cat sitter!”

“Another great job by Katie! My scaredy cat is warming up to Katie more & more. I’m grateful to have found her. I don’t worry about my fur babies while I’m away, I know they’re in good hands.”

About: I bring a quiet, steady presence into every visit. Cats are highly sensitive to energy and routine, so I move slowly, speak softly, and allow them to approach on their own terms. I focus on maintaining their normal schedule and creating a peaceful environment where they feel safe and undisturbed. My goal is for your cat to remain relaxed and comfortable while you’re away, with care that feels consistent and respectful.

“Thomas did a great job with my 2 cats. They are very shy creatures, and don’t come out of hiding for most of the sitters that I have tried, but they were very friendly for him and got lots of snuggles. It is good to know that I have a reliable cat sitting option who my cats really like.”

About: I've had cats since I was 3years old. My current 3 are all rescues. I love watching thier individual personalities come out and seeing them happy and comfortable. In 2013 I took and passed a vet-tech certification program through a local accredited college, so I understand the nauances of cats and thier care requirements.
“My husband and I were able to go away for the weekend with extreme confidence that Patches would be well-cared-for. Jessica and Alex were warm and friendly and we could see that Patches liked them very much. We loved the photos and the map showing his walks. We would not hesitate to recommend her to friends and will definitely use her again. Thank you.”

“Taelor has been incredible with my dog, Jerry! She watches him 2–3 times a week, and I couldn’t ask for someone more reliable, caring, and attentive. From the very beginning, she made Jerry feel comfortable and safe, and it’s clear how much she genuinely cares for the dogs she looks after. Jerry also made a new best friend in her sweet dog, Piglet, which makes his visits even more fun! He always comes home happy, well-exercised, and relaxed, which tells me he had a great day under her care. Taelor keeps me updated throughout the day with photos and little notes, which gives me total peace of mind while I’m at work. If you’re looking for someone who will go above and beyond for your pup, she’s the one to choose. Jerry and I are so grateful to have found her!”

“Zulma was absolutely wonderful! She took the time to allow Russell to get acquainted with his surroundings and safely meet her dog, Luna, who was a great teacher and playmate for him. We were so impressed by her understanding of dog behavior and especially her insight into Russell’s behavior and skin condition. We feel very comfortable and confident leaving Russell in her care, and we would highly recommend her!”

“Dani was amazing! Took my dog to her 3x and she was excited each time. Photos and updates were sent without asking. I would definitely book anytime to take care of my fur baby. I highly recommend.”

“Jessica was communicative and flexible and I feel so lucky we were able to book her on short notice, she really saved the day! My dog was relaxed and tired when she came home, which says a lot, she is a very anxious dog and I am so grateful when we find sitters who put her at ease. Thank you Jessica!”

“We’ve had a great experience with Trish. Gizmo is still new to us and can be sensitive with transitions, and she has been incredibly patient, calm, and accommodating from the start. He settles while he’s there (even if he hasn’t slept yet), and it’s clear he feels safe and well cared for. She’s kind, attentive, and truly understands dogs who need a little extra gentleness. I’m so grateful to have found someone I trust and feel comfortable leaving him with. Highly recommend!”

“Melissa was amazing! She had our Sadie for three days of day care so we could go off and enjoy day trips with our visiting granddaughters and d.i.l. Sadie loved her and her girls, never looking back at us after that first day of drop off! Melissa sent periodic pics and updates of how our girl was doing, and was very accommodating as to drop off and pick up times. We would not hesitate to rebook with Melissa and highly recommend her for your fur babies.”

“My dog loved it with them. With a new puppy I felt comfortable leaving her with them, and the did a great job with her. Loved the updates throughout the day. Will use them again as I feel safe leaving my puppy with them”

About: I went to Highschool at Edwin O Smith where I took animal science class for four years. I then went to UConn and took a livestock animal class for a year. I have pet sitted for all types of animals from dogs and cats to goats and horses. I owned a small goat farm for 5 years as part of an FFA project learning to be an entrepreneur. I know basic veterinarian technician skills from my animal science classes. I have personally owned dogs, fish, birds, rabbits, hamsters. I have the experience to deal with more difficult animals. I will make sure your pet is in an environment that's stress free and full of cuddles. At the moment I am a stay at home mom doing online courses for accounting. Since I’m always home it’s perfect for watching pets 24/7 or going out and feeding, walking, etc.. for periods of time. At my house I have an empty barn with a huge fenced in area for pets to enjoy running free, being outside, playing fetch, or just relaxing in the shade. I also have a fenced in porch where I like to sit outside and watch the day go by with furry friends.
About: Growing up on a farm, I’ve been working with animals for as long as I can remember! From hamsters to horses - I’ve cared for nearly any animal you can think of. I attended Norfolk Aggie, majoring in Animal Science. Since then, I’ve worked as a vet tech, grooming assistant, assistant trainer, and in multiple barns and kennels. Aside from caring for pets, I currently work from home on my fiancé and I’s business, and do freelance photography (always happy to get some cute pics!) Training is a massive aspect of pet care. It’s important to have a sitter that understands your goals, reinforces correct behaviors, and constantly works to improve. Aside from training, having expertise in many areas of pet care, along with having experience with many different species, breeds, and personality types allows me to confidently handle any situation. Not only do I offer top notch care - I’m a huge communicator! I send lots of updates and adorable photos. When booking with me, you will never have to worry or wonder what your pets are up to (Check in as often as you want! I encourage it!) I also offer bathing & nail trims! Please feel free to ask any questions, my priority is always the comfort of you and your furry friends. Looking forward to hearing from you! Aside from caring for other pets, most of my work is online. This allows me to be flexible of when or even where I work. Feel free to let me know exactly what you’re looking for, and we can come up with a plan! Every pet is unique, and needs different things! I tailor my visits to each individual animal. My goal is to create a happy and loving environment for your pets while you’re away, and earn your trust so you can leave your worries behind!

About: I’m a compassionate and dedicated animal lover with over 11 years of experience in pet care and farm management. From a young age, animals have been a central part of my life, and my love for them only continues to grow. Whether it’s through my own pets or helping friends and family, I’ve gained a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience in animal care. I’m on a mission to create a rescue and horse stall that will not only offer a safe haven for animals but will also serve as a place for children with autism and special needs to experience the healing power of animal therapy. My goal is to create an environment where both animals and people can thrive, connecting through the unique bond that therapy animals offer. What I Offer I provide a range of services with your pet happiness as my top priority, including: • Nail care and baths • Dog walking and pet sitting • Specially prepared homemade food tailored to your pet’s dietary needs I believe in offering care that goes beyond just the basics. Your pets will be treated like family, and I promise they will be in the best hands possible. If you have any questions or would like to discuss your pet’s needs, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m here to help! Thank you for trusting me with your furry family members. Please feel free to share your preferred schedule, here on rover and I’ll do my best to accommodate both your needs and your pup’s. Thank you. I have a partially fenced yard with a river in the back, and my two pups, Nala and Winchester, are here to keep your dog company—there will be plenty of activities and fun for your pup! For the safety and well-being of all pets in my care, I do require an up-to-date vaccination record for each pet. I also ask for a brief overview of your pet’s daily routine, so I can maintain their schedule and ensure they stay comfortable and happy during their time with us. Additionally, please feel free to share any important details, such as potential triggers, resource guarding tendencies, allergies, or anything else I should know. I’d love to also hear about their favorite treats, toys, and activities to make sure they have an enjoyable stay!
About: I'll be honest, I am doing this because I need extra money. But I want to make extra money spending time with your pets because I love being around animals and I want to spend actual time with them giving them love, exercise, and a good time. I am able to spend actual time with them as I am a teacher and do not work during the summer. Animals deserve to be shown affection as much as possible throughout the day especially when a lot of their time is spent waiting for owners to come home. Don't let your pets wait around for you, give them someone to hangout with in the meantime! I love taking dogs on walks and hikes! I know how important it is for animals to be cared for meaning being fed, bathed, and given a good rubbin. If you have any questions, feel free to ask (: I am a teacher on summer break so I am fully available for your pets! I love to take them for walks and play with them. I care for pets by taking them for walks and to the bathroom based on their schedule at home. I love to play with dogs and give them rubs. I love making new dog friends.

About: Hi!! I’ve had experience with animals for my entire life, and I’m looking for a bit more experience to build up my portfolio for veterinary school. This would be beneficial and enjoyable and open your schedule a bit. I’m currently at my normal job 4 days a week, on top of college, volunteering , and social obligations. I have 3 days off on which I can potentially be available. Im unavailable for any pet services in my own home, but I can commute to you and care for your pet at yours. I can do bathing, cage cleaning, walking, feeding, watering, playing, and any other necessary tasks. I will not stay anywhere overnight, but I can work with your animals for a few hours during the day.
About: Lots of experience taking care of dogs. But could take care of cats too. Experience with horses as well and overnight is an option as well . I’m headed to college so won’t be around much after Aug. but could maybe fit some in on breaks and holiday's or next summer time . I do pet sitting in your home or business . I do not offer boarding options or have the means to take care of pets at my house

About: I've had dogs since I was 10 and participated with their health care growing up and decided I wanted to be in the veterinary field from that point. I started pet sitting for a farm in 2017-2021. I went to school to be a veterinary assistant in 2020. I later got a job at a vet clinic in 2021 and started pet sitting for clients there on the side. I've had 4 years experience with observing animal behavior and know what to look for when a pet is feeling ill, restraint, nail trims, administering medications, injections, and treatments. I also worked for a summer at a dog boarding facility and have experience with observing play behaviors to prevent fights from breaking out in groups. I just recently quit my full-time veterinary assistant job in October 2025, due to workplace drama and still have some regular pet sitting clients from the vet clinic, but thought I'd give this a shot to widen my clientele. If you like my services, I encourage you to contact me outside of Rover! I can only take on other dog friendly dogs in my house because I have 2 myself. I'm willing to go to your house for visits if they're not dog friendly. I have an unfenced yard, so any dogs staying with me will go outside on a leash. Dogs must be crate trianed to stay at my house. My dogs stay out when I go on errands or out for the evening, but get locked up at night.
“It was too wet/rainy outside to walk Gidget, but I kept the appointment time anyway. I wanted to start once a week walks for Gidget to get used to seeing Katie around before house sitting for us. Hubby said that she took the time to get to know her and vice versa. Very pleased with Katie.”

About: It's my mission to be your pet's newest favorite human. I've been volunteering, rescuing and fundraising for Paws Cat Shelter in Putnam CT since 2017. I'm also their mascot appearing in many downtown events. If the cats only knew the lengths I go for them! I have five cats of my own (Penny, Bentley, Boober, Mokey and Wembley) and I'm a dog mom to Frank, a mini Aussie Shepard. I've done home and pet sitting for friends and co-workers and I know the importance of finding someone reliable and trustworthy to watch my own animals. I'm comfortable with giving meds, syringe feeding, poop scooping and litterbox digging. I work full time as a Financial Systems Analyst for EG America (Cumberland Farms) but my schedule allows for flexibility. I can do drop-in visits or set up shop in your kitchen with my laptop if you don't mind sharing your WiFi. Just give me all of the detailed instructions/routines (like, go full-on OCD, I can appreciate that!) and I'll take care of the rest. I like to send text updates and pictures so you're at ease knowing your kids are happy and healthy.
About: I have worked with dog trainers so I know some training skills needed to help with certain behaviors. I can administer meds if needed. I have had farm animals so I have that experience as well. I am looking to fill my time with some amazing animals because of my love for them. I take care of everything from farm animals to cats. I can watch cat friendly dogs in my home. I have gates and a safe environment. I am more than willing to watch pets in the clients home as well to make them feel comfortable and help with routine.

About: I bring a naturally calm, grounded presence into every home I enter. Pets are incredibly intuitive, and I prioritize creating a peaceful, steady environment where they feel safe and secure. Whether your dog is anxious, high-energy, or just needs consistency, I focus on maintaining a structured routine with patience and gentle guidance. My goal is for your pet to feel relaxed and comfortable, and for you to have complete peace of mind knowing they’re in stable, attentive hands. I’m currently in school and have a lot of time in between classes! I have tons of times to take care of your best friends! When pets stay in my home, their comfort and safety are my top priorities. I provide a calm, structured environment with consistent routines to help them settle in smoothly. I have a fully fenced-in yard for safe outdoor time and supervised play, and I always monitor pets while outside. If your dog is crate-trained or prefers a crate for rest, I can easily accommodate that to maintain their normal routine. My goal is to create a peaceful, secure space where your pet feels at ease while you’re away.
“Jeanette is awesome! She came before her first walk to meet us and was very nice. She was on time and sent us pictures of our pup. We are excited for her to come back this week!”

“I was particularly apprehensive about choosing a dog walker for my rescue dog. Molly is high anxiety, a result of her abusive history. I’d used the same dog-walker for three years, since first adopting Molly. She was a college student whose class schedule ultimately clashed with her dog-walking schedule, leaving me to find someone new. I interviewed several candidates, ultimately choosing Kala because she clearly showed an understanding of how best to interact with anxious rescue animals. Molly took to her quickly, so I’d say that Molly chose Kala! Kala has been great! She’s kind, patient, and understanding with Molly’s quirks. Molly seems to really love her, which obviously makes it easier for me when I have to be away from her. I would highly recommend Kala, particularly for those with very sensitive animals. I can’t say enough good things about her.”

About: Hi, I’m Clara! Animals have been a central part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve worked with pets of all ages, sizes, and temperaments—from tiny parrots to towering horses—and I’m confident handling everything in between. I have experience with: • Puppies and young dogs (training, socialization, and lots of patience!) • Caring for a dog with frequent seizures and special health needs • Working at a large dog rescue in Mexico, rehabilitating street dogs with behavioral and medical issues of all sizes • Administering oral medications and following detailed care instructions • Senior pet care with extra attention and gentleness (my dog is epileptic so I know how to administer all seizure meds and the full protocol) • Basic training and reinforcing good behavior • Horse care from years of working in barns (feeding, grooming, handling) • Volunteering for a year at a parrot rescue, learning about specialized bird care I’m active and outdoorsy, so I love taking energetic dogs for runs, hikes, or long walks—but I’m just as happy giving older or calmer pets plenty of snuggles. Safety, compassion, and keeping your pets happy are my top priorities, and I’ll always send plenty of photo updates while you’re away. I’m currently completely open and very flexible with scheduling. I’m not working another job right now, so I can adjust to your pet’s exact needs—whether that’s early mornings, late nights, or last-minute bookings. Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. In my home, pets must be friendly with other dogs, as I have my own, and everyone’s well-being is a top priority. We have a fully fenced yard for safe play and fresh air, and I love going on regular walks to keep pets happy and healthy. I’m very routine-oriented, so I’ll follow your pet’s feeding, exercise, and care schedule exactly as you request—whether in my home or yours. I make sure each animal feels secure, loved, and stress-free, with plenty of supervision, enrichment, and affection.

“Bailey loves visiting Brittany and family!!! Never EVER worry about his care So many photos of Bailey’s antics. Always know what he’s up to because of her amazing communication He becomes an instant member of their family. Absolutely the best sitter!”

“Suzanne and her family were perfect for Brody! We were not even sure if he wanted to come back home with us! I can highly recommend Suzanne! You doggie will feel home from day one. Thank you, Suzanne!”

“Dani is great with dogs. Our dog Hart spent the week there while we were on vacation. We got pictures and updates every day and he enjoyed his time there. Dani is conveniently located for us and very kind. Your dog will be in great hands!”
