About: Having been a dog lover since childhood, I’ve always had dog sitting gigs for a side hustle. I also managed a professional boarding kennel for 5 years where I learned to care for pets of all sizes, personalities and needs. The great outdoors are my life, and I have grown into a passion hunting dogs, and have spent the last 4 years training my Labrador retriever. I have two dogs of my own, West, my four year old trusty hunting black Labrador, and Tilly a nine year old German Shepherd mix. Throughout high school and college I house sat often for family friends and my own family’s dogs. I now have my own dog who I love more than anything. About: Recently coming off traveling the US and the way I was able to do that was pet sitting! I was able to line up dog sits and stay in areas I’ve always wanted to visit. The plus was having a dog to get to explore the outside world with. I’m moving back to Colorado and would love to keep this going by staying in new areas. About: I’ve had pets since I was a toddler. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, lizards, snakes, fish, and chickens. I have always loved animals deeply, I went vegetarian when I was 5 years old because I couldn’t bare to eat them, I still am today. I have been dog sitting for about 8 years, during college friends could rely on me to bring over their dogs when they were going out of town or for the weekend. I grew up with a golden lab named Baby. I love to take dogs on hikes in the mountains or just hangout at the park. I often go to Cherry Creek Dog Park, where it makes my soul super happy that dogs can roam free in total bliss. I play tug-0- war, or the simple belly scratch for hours while watching a movie. I have experience with giving pets medicine and being cautious of dietary needs. I am now in Steamboat and Yampa and can commute to both areas. About: Hi, I'm Keith, a 34-year-old Cornell graduate that grew up in a family of animal lovers! My Dad worked in the animal health industry his whole life and he instilled in us the love of taking care of dogs and all animals since I was a little boy growing up on our farm. My first dog was an older border collie named Amy I got as a five-year-old and I've been raising them ever since. The dog that shines brightest in my memory is Snowy, our family dog from when I was 11-23 years old (the white lab/retriever looking mix in the pics). We used to race hundreds of miles up and down our half-mile long driveway in Upstate NY as Snowy could run 30-32mph in his prime! We truly grew up together and after university, Snowy and I moved across the country to the mountains of Colorado where he enjoyed his namesake fully until he passed away several years ago. The joy that he brought to my family, friends, strangers and patients while volunteering in the hospital is something I'll never forget. I'm passionate about helping ease the difficulties of pet ownership for others so that they too can hopefully have the bond that Snowy and I will always have. In the last 10+ years, I've traveled long term through 80ish countries and thus have decided to wait until I lead a more consistent lifestyle to bring a new puppy into my life. About: Recently coming off traveling the US and the way I was able to do that was pet sitting! I was able to line up dog sits and stay in areas I’ve always wanted to visit. The plus was having a dog to get to explore the outside world with. I’m moving back to Colorado and would love to keep this going by staying in new areas.
