About: I started dog sitting for my neighbors when I was 12. My family got 2 dogs when I entered high school and I was the main care giver. Now that I am living somewhere that does not allow dogs, I love the opportunity of getting to care for other dogs and treat them as my own family. About: I am a total animal person :) I love all animals and especially dogs. I treat all dogs as if they were my own companion. I love to reward them with high quality treats and natural peanut butter. I grew up taking care of all types of animals. I had chinchillas, rabbits, dogs, hamsters, fish etc.. I have been training dogs for 28 years and have watched and read a lot of dog training videos and books. Lennon was a very diificult dog to train because she's incredibly smart, independent and not very food motivated. I understand how to deal with all types of personalities/ quirks and needs from my wide range of dogs I have cared for. I have watched 14 year old standard poodles with a lot of anxiety and medical issues, to a shy mini poodle or a collie that wants to chase Lennon all day every day. Also my dog Lennon has severe allergies and very sensitive skin etc. so she takes medicine daily and I give her probiotics and am always watching to make sure she's not having a bad reaction. She has gone into anaphylaxis twice and luckily I knew the signs and was able to get her to the vet just in time to save her life. I take dog care very seriously because of this, if I notice any change in behavior or red eyes etc. I will notify you immediately and see what the course of action should be. I value giving pet owners peace of mind because I know what it is like to be worried about your animal while traveling and theres no worse feeling. I love to send lots of pictures and videos so you never have to wonder how your pup is doing. I watched dogs on Rover for 2 years before in Georgia when I was married and unfortunately it was all booked under my ex's profile so you can't see all my reviews. I take my Aussie-doodle Lennon for daily walks and have multiple playtime sessions daily with fetch balls, plush toys, doing tricks, playing tug a war etc. I also have a big comfy couch downstairs I love to snuggle with my pup on. When the weather is nice I love to go on dog friendly hikes during (between 1-4 miles) nothing too crazy especially if it is hot outside. If your dog is snuggly, I offer snuggles. If they are play oriented I offer tons of play and my pup Lennon LOVES to play and chill (she's very insanely emotionally intelligent). She knows when to play and when to relax - which I love about her. I will always take dogs for walks (weather permitting) and take them out to potty every 3-4 hours minimum.

About: I’ve always loved being around and caring for dogs! I’ve had a dog of my own for almost my whole life, who I care for on the daily. When a friend is in need of a dog sitter they come to me and I care for their pup like my own! I am home very often on a daily basis so I have lots of time to spend with your pet and care for their needs! This leaves plenty of time for play and attention. I have a big fenced in yard where the dog can run and play along with my energetic 4 year old dog. Your pet can be crated if needed/desired but is welcome on the furniture just like my dog!

About: Ive walked and sat off and on with wag for several years and enjoyed it with no issue. I was suggested this app instead while I live in boulder. Free most weekdays and some weekends. I am a private Chef and only work for events on random days. I will update my schedule as I have datesm I meet every pet where they are and offer a very calm and welcoming environment. I am available outside of the following hours: 2-4:30pm Monday-Friday, 5:30-7pm Mondays and Thursdays, and 4-6pm on Wednesdays. Other than these times, I am free to be booked! I’ve especially worked with older cats and dogs, so I understand the extra patience, attentiveness, and gentle care they often need. I also have two cats of my own back home, giving me firsthand experience in daily responsibilities and expectations of being a pet owner. Because of this, I’m very mindful about my care towards your pet! I’m currently a second-year, first-generation student at CU Boulder, balancing school and a Work-Study position. I’m generally available Thursday through Monday after 1 PM and can be flexible with advance notice. When I house sit I treat every home with respect, focusing on your pet while you’re away. I understand leaving your home and furry friend to a stranger can be worrisome so I do my best to comfort your pet and keep your space the way you like it.

About: I was absolutely obsessed with my late bulldog and toy poodle. Raising them and spending time with them each day was so much fun and fulfilling. I have been dog sitting, cat sitting and house sitting since I was 12. All through high school and both of my college degrees I continued to dog sit. I'd feel lucky to be trusted to hang out with yours! I am extremely active and love when I can exercise with a pup. Hike? Neighborhood walk? Dog park? Sounds great! I work from home with great flexibility and have holidays off of work since I work in education. Let me know what type of schedule suits your fur baby best! I have a large backyard and a deck. I work a set schedule Monday-Friday, so they will have consistency/stability throughout the weekdays. On the weekends, I’ll be available to spend the entire day with your fuzzy family members. How I care for your pets is strongly influenced by what you share with me. Household rules like crating, furniture rules, and routines will all be discussed with you and then adhered to during my stay. I also offer to bring in the mail, take out the trash, water the plants, and feed the goldfish. You know, those little details that matter.

About: Hi there! All my life I have been an animal lover and for the last 8 years I have raised my own dog, and taken care of other dogs for families I used to babysit for. I can fit in any lifestyle your pet has, whether they are active or a stay-at-home. I can fit any accommodation as I work from home, love to exercise (so your dog would get plenty of it, if need be), and I'm incredibly flexible and will be normally free to help you more than not. At the same time, I raised my dog since she was a puppy so I do have experience with younger, more energetic dogs and overall I would simply love to help and treat your dogs like family. About: I started dog sitting for my neighbors when I was 12. My family got 2 dogs when I entered high school and I was the main care giver. Now that I am living somewhere that does not allow dogs, I love the opportunity of getting to care for other dogs and treat them as my own family. I work from home 3 days a week (M, T, F) so your dogs will have full access to me those days! If your home has WiFi and your dogs need more consistent attention, I'm comfortable working from there as long as you are too. Overall, my job is pretty flexible and I am available for midday walks, etc. I treat all dogs as if they were my own. Having grown up with one dog who was NOT and one who WAS all cuddles 24/7, I totally understand when dogs need some time and space to get used to a new person. I will meet your dog wherever it is at with their personality and make sure we both feel safe in our environment and have a good time, whatever that means for your dog.
About: You know when you’re out in public and your dog unexpectedly rushes straight over to say hi to a random (specific) person then needs to be physically pulled away even after they got the attention they wanted? For some reason, I’ve always been that random but specific person. Sometimes it feels like dogs suddenly materialize in front of me or like their “hello” is really more of a “it’s about time you got here!” Dogs (and cats, for that matter) also tend to insist on cuddling up next to me instead of their usual pick when I visit their homes (and I’m certainly not complaining). I currently only have cats, but I grew up with three dogs (a chocolate lab, a miniature schnauzer, and a Pomeranian) and have learned how to love both in the ways they want me to love them. What I love most about dogs is how pure they are. We all appreciate their undying loyalty, of course, but the sweet, unconditionally caring emotional presence that dogs carry themselves with is one of the things that makes life worth living. I consider non-human animals to be people too, and dogs are definitely among the best non-human animals. I would be just as excited as your dog(s) would be to make a new friend! My availability is flexible in general but particularly in terms of the time of day. I have a circadian rhythm difference that makes my sleep “schedule” change throughout each week, so if I’m given sufficient notice (48 hours), I’m easily able to modify my waking hours if your pet has time-sensitive needs. As mentioned in my bios, animals seem to naturally see me as a Disney princess. However, even though I’m very confident that I’ll get along with your pet(s) without any issues, their friendship is theirs to give, not mine to demand. Their needs are my top priority (and would be even if I weren’t petsitting); I recognize that some animals need lots of time and space to truly feel safe, and giving them that time and space is the only way to create a mutually comforting environment. Even if your dog/cat actually is insatiably social and unfailingly affectionate, I want to be sure that I get an idea of any individual boundaries or strong preferences beforehand so that I’m able to treat them with the same respect and care that I would a human person. As far as dogs and cats that want lots of love and affection, I am happy to give and share it! My cats sleep with me most nights and I often have one on my lap or next to my leg throughout a given day. Either way, I’ll follow your pet’s lead.

I'm a mature permanent long term resident of Boulder, where your dog can feel safe and have fun while returning to time and time again. I work for short hours with a flexible schedule during the day, but always spend mornings and evenings at home. I go for walks morning and evening or at different times during the day. They have a lovely very large yard so dogs can get a lot of exercise and outdoor time. We met prior to our stay to be sure Ranger and their dog were cool together. We really appreciate how focused and patient they were with Ranger. He had a great stay and we definitely recommend them!”
