About: Hi everyone! My family has always had dogs, we had a rhodesian ridgeback and a mut while I was growing up. My family has also fostered puppies on and off for the last few years. Through middle and high school I would pet sit for my parents friends, and I was a stable hand for our neighbours horses down the street. I love dogs and have always surrounded myself by them, weather through having my own, fostering, or pet sitting. I’m currently in nursing school. When I don’t have clinicals (which my availability will reflect), I just have classes in town for a couple hours a couple days a week. I currently babysit in the morning, nights and weekends are preferred but I’m willing to house sit as well as pet sit. I have a pretty flexible schedule. A typical pet sitting day is, feeding, letting the animal relieve themselves, walk or let out into the yard. Return later to feed and crate or if the animal has specific living accommodations.

Pet care is my full-time profession, and I tailor each day to fit the needs of the dogs in my care. Because I keep my boarding group small, every dog receives personalized attention, enrichment, exercise, and plenty of downtime. Dogs spend their days enjoying a balance of outdoor time, supervised play, walks, enrichment activities, and relaxation indoors. I pay close attention to each dog’s personality, preferences, and comfort level so I can provide a safe, low-stress experience while you’re away. My goal is for your dog to feel at home, and for you to have peace of mind knowing they are receiving attentive, professional care throughout their stay. Safety is my top priority. As a professional dog trainer, I carefully manage introductions, supervise interactions, and pay close attention to each dog’s body language and comfort level. My home features a large securely fenced yard for outdoor time, play, and potty breaks. Dogs stay in the home as part of the family and have access to rest areas, quiet spaces, and appropriately sized kennels when needed for meals, bedtime, or individual downtime as needed. I keep my boarding group small so I can give each dog the attention and management they need. Dogs are never forced to interact and always have opportunities for rest, quiet time, and personal space. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable environment where every dog can relax and enjoy their stay.

On top of that, my trip ended up getting extended two extra days and Darek was so helpful and communicative during the whole process, it took a huge weight off of my shoulders as a pet parent! “Our Boston Terrier stayed a week with Leo and we were so happy about her stay. Leo had no problem giving our dog her medicine every day and more when she needed it. She took our dog on walks & hikes and had play dates with other dogs. We were very nervous about sending our dog with a stranger, but Leo was amazing so we felt totally comfortable and at ease. She let our dog even sleep in bed with her so that tells you how much she spoils her guests.”
