About: I have grown up with dogs of my own and lived with many animals of all sizes. I love dogs but I travel a lot and cannot have my own, unfortunately. I try to get my fix taking care of other dogs when I can! I'm a big trail runner, I take my parents dog whenever I can. He is a big river/water dog so I love taking dogs on trails with water access. I always carry plenty of water and snacks for myself and the pup. I love dogs that are high energy and need to get lots of exercise, I'll tucker them out. I can take dogs on long hikes, runs, or even quick walks. I work evenings bar tending and am available most days before 4pm. I prefer to have one dog at a time so they get proper care and I can keep track of them, especially if they are good unleashed on trails. I am flexible and love to house sit as well so I can stay where the dog is comfortable. I like to have fun with the pups! This is for my own enjoyment and your convenience!
“Melissa and Scott were fantastic. Charlie is on several medications and had sprained his leg before the stay, but I had no worries leaving him with them! They sent lots of pics and took the best care of him.”
“Michael and Emily were amazing with our dog for a 4 night long stay - walks, bike rides, cuddles and playtime. They sent us pictures of our dog too and she clearly was having a great time. Their dogs were friendly and welcoming to ours. Our dog needs medicine applied to her nose daily and they had no issue doing that. Their yard was secure and spacious. Being in Gunnison provides a great spot for those traveling onto Crested Butte. Thank you Michael and Emily!”
“Allie is absolutely amazing. She was extremely accommodating when our plans changed, honest when the price changed, and she and her family was great with our pups from start to finish. Thanks so much, Allie!”

“Carol is the best!!! So lovely and so caring for my old man!! She kept me updated with photos and I felt so comfortable leaving Tucker for a trip. My dog got into treats that weren’t his and she immediately called to make sure he was going to be ok. Will definitely book with Carol again (:”

About: I’ve taken care of pets of all ages and I’ve loved my time with every pet I’ve gotten to know! It definitely helps that they tend to like me too! I have experience training dogs and even completed a service dog training minor in undergrad! I am able to provide morning and evening care as well as boarding! My job gives me weekdays off, but I work most weekends. This means I can stop in for morning and evening check ins but will need to be gone most of the day. I take care of my own pets with regular walks, play time, and dog park trips. I find pets love being in a habitat they are used to, so I prefer to have the pets stay in their home!

“i felt so safe and comfy having Charlotte over to check on my babies, they all seemed to love her. the kitties, my dog, and i give her a sold 10/10 for someone to come in and give your animals love, food, and anything else they need.”

About: I absolutely love spending time and playing with dogs. I have 2 dogs at home in Chicago and I adore them. We go on walks, play catch/fetch outside, go on hikes, and spend lots of time outside. Since I have moved here I am missing so much dog time and would absolutely love the opportunity to meet and spoil your dog in the best ways. I have dog sat and house sat for many people who continue to ask me to dog and house sit when they need it. I am currently employed by a wilderness therapy program where my schedule is 8 days on 6 days off and would love nothing more than to spend time with dogs on my off shift! No matter the age, I am happy to dog sit! I have a 14 year old dog and a 2 year old dog at home, so I have experience with both older dogs and younger dogs.
About: I have spent my whole live having dogs and cats in my home and caring for other peoples animals as well. I’ve always had a dog and cats in my household and it just adds so much joy to my life. It’s something I’m very passionate about and have never met an animal that I don’t get along with!! I’m currently working part time in Aspen and really miss my own pets that are back home in Florida. I’ve always enjoyed taking care of pets as a part of my daily routine and would love to help others with doing the same. I have at least 3-4 free days a week to help anyone out! When it comes to the clients home I have plenty of experience being as hands on or hands off as the client prefers when it comes to their pets. When it comes to having pets at my own place I live in an extremely walkable area and have a very nice trail 5 minutes away for walks and exploring. My apartment is a very good size to have a pet over to hang out as well.
About: I grew up on a farm with cats/dogs/horses. I have also owned a dog since I have a lived on my own. My range of dog knowledge goes from little dogs to big dogs. I have taken care of the friendliest dogs to behavioral problem dogs. I have a deep connection with animals that helps me to understand and accept them as they come, because they are all different. I have invested a lot of training into my own animals and have knowledge in that area if you would like me to apply with yours. Also, I am more than happy to help with additional farm animals. I do remote sales in the valley for a local brewery that gives me flexibility with my schedule. It really depends on the dates needed in which I can look to see if it fits my schedule. I can follow directions on what you desire when I stay in your place. Routine is important for most animals and I try to stick to the routine that you have set up or create a healthy one while I am there. Keeping the pets as comfy as possible is my ultimate goal.

About: We have spend a year on rover sharing time with pups and we love to do this job, my wife and me we make great team to take care of every single detail for your pups, in our place, when we walk your dog or even at your place ☺️ Yes it does! I do have a very flexible schedule at my main job, that allows me to be available for a lot of appointments in the app. I have a big apartment with balcony and in used to have it open, as I don’t mind of having the pets on the couch. In other people’s house I always make all the questions to work with their preferences and keep the space safe and clean, as their pet happy and relaxed
About: I grew up on a farm in the uk with cats and dogs and all of the animals. I’ve been a life long dog owner and currently have a beautiful McNab called Munro I study from home so I’m super flexible and very present with dog care. I prefer to be able to do a meet and greet prior to make sure we all connect . I prefer clients to have a fenced yard but if not then long leashed walks are also fun! Off leash is good too in the dog parks if your furry friend is good at recall.
About: Hello! I have had dogs and cats my entire life, and have one dog of my own that would love to be friends with your fur baby! I have 20+ years of experience, and am extremely active. I listen well to instructions and will ensure your dog has the best walk, time or visit I can provide! I have had dogs ranging from large Bernese mountain dogs like my own to a small maltepoo (my parents dog) who has an extremely sensitive stomach and requires extra attention. I also volunteered at the SPCA in San Francisco for 3 years and the Dumb Friends League in Denver for 4 years which gave me exposure to handling dogs from all walks of life - some of them easy and mellow, others extremely shy and required gentle handling and patience, while others were aggressive and required someone who understands how to calm and work with an aggressive dog. I look forward to working with you and your dog! I’m currently home most of the time outside of running or babysitting (and i will let you know if i have a shift that overlaps w your dog’s care). I can offer house sitting if my dog, Aspen, can come with me. I also offer boarding one dog at a time (or 2 if they are both yours) from my townhome in Basalt willits. I take the dogs out every 2-4 hours and Aspen (outside of when we’re sleeping) and I go on a walk every morning. I will do the same for your pup! I ALWAYS keep my eye on the pups and have 1 other very friendly and lovable Bernese mountain dog who can’t wait to welcome your pet!
“Jacqueline and Brad took amazing care of Pepper while I was out skiing for the day. I am so glad to have found them as an option for future day care in the valley! I could tell Pepper had a full day of activity and being social when I picked her up. I will definitely ask for their help again in the future.”

“So thankful we got to meet Ellle! She is a delight and her home is clean and safe for the dogs. They loved her backyard as well. We will definitely book again when we are in Denver!! Thanks ;)”

“Katie was amazing with Harper! As a first-time Rover user, I was a little nervous, but Katie immediately put me at ease. She was so friendly and welcoming, and Harper took to her right away. Katie shared the cutest photos throughout the day, took Harper on multiple walks, and clearly made her feel comfortable and included. Harper came home happy, relaxed, and completely tired out from all the fun—which is pretty much the highest compliment a lab can give. I'm so thankful our first Rover experience was with Katie and would happily trust her with Harper again in the future!”

“Good communication and super flexible. We used Megan for daycare as we hiked close by. Jersey was well taken care of and Megan was flexible with pickup after we finished out hike. Thanks again!”

I grew up with dogs and rabbits. I have a dog named Ulysses. He is a German shorthair pointer. Your animal will have my full attention and affection. Feel free to ask me any questions you may have. Hope I can help ! I work at a restaurant in Aspen 3-4 days a week. Usually only a 6-hour shift. Tuesday’s, Wednesdays, and Thursday nights are my fixed schedule but may change. My boyfriend Scott works during the day so he's at home at night while I'm at work. So, there will always be me or Scott at home with your dog and ours. I live in a 2br 2bath apartment with a small patio. The dog parks close by as well as lots of places to walk around town. I take my own dog Ulysses to Crown mtn park, Basalt mtn, or up by Sopris at least once a day. The Rio Grande trail is right by my place as well.
About: I’ve had dogs and/ or cats my whole life. I love caring for puppies/kittens all the way to seniors. I can give them the care they require. I love our furry pets! I am Gunnison homeowner for over 40 years and now retired. I have the time, energy, and desire to accompany your pet anytime. I am able to care for your pet in the way they are accustomed at your home. If staying with me, I have a fenced yard and a large home and a small Aussie named “Banjo” for them to play with. About: HUGE DOG LOVER! Miss my golden like crazy - let me get my dog fix through your fur-child! If your 4 legged friend enjoys walks, baby-talk and a large un-fenced backyard in Woody Creek - I'm your girl! I co-own an oxygen company so being able to have my phone handy while walking or snuggling with your pet is important. I usually workout and have oxygen runs with a fairly fluid schedule. I tweak it by the hour. So if I would need to change my "walking" schedule due to something last minute, thats USUALLY not a problem. I live in a corner apartment attached to a home in Woody Creek, almost like a nanny apartment. Beautiful and large backyard with dog friendly folks everywhere. If I have your dog then I have your child, thats that! I prefer not to use my vehicle for your pet as I mentioned above I co-own an oxygen company so that could get messy... Medical supplies with dog hair. I usually exercise in the morning, come home around lunch and do oxygen runs in the afternoon... But of course I am flexible and this changes. My point is I come home every 4ish hours so I can walk, feed or snuggle with your baby frequently.
“Allie was great and made our anxious Great Dane feel right at home. Her other dogs and cats got along very well with ours and made them stay more enjoyable. I would use Allie again and would recommend her to anyone needing doggy day care while visiting Gunnison.”
