About: We are a dog family currently without a dog after losing our older golden retriever in January. While we’re not quite ready to add another four-legged family member, we would love to take care of yours! Snuggles and playtime abound here, and we are comfortable with pups young and old as long as they are happy to be around kids and not a significant chewing threat (our floor is not pristine, and despite my beat efforts to get the kids to put things away, there will likely be temptations around that I would hate to have impact your pup’s digestive tract!). Having just been through a year with an older pet, I also have experience with medications and limited mobility situations. We especially love other goldens. :) If your pet is used to the hustle and bustle of a lively household, we could be the perfect choice for his or her home-away-from-home. She sent photos, status updates and when Zaya wouldn't eat (because she was so nervous to be away from home), she asked about ways to entice her to eat and successfully got her to gobble up her meals. “Lindsey and Anthony and their sweet girls took amazing care of our pups for a week! We have a very old dog and a puppy, and they made sure they understood both dogs' needs completely beforehand and that both dogs were totally comfortable in their home. They gave regular walks to the puppy so he was well-excersised, and took our old man on short walks so he could explore the neighborhood. Lindsey sent daily updates and pictures, and was very easy to communicate with. Both pups seemed very relaxed and happy at their house, and they had a blast playing with their dog Mochi! We would love to send our pups to their house again next time we go out of town!”

“Rachael was so great with my senior pup! She administered his medicine on time daily, and listened to his needs regarding exercise in the heat. Her dog Tiger got along great with my dog, even though Dutch kept trying to take over all of the sleeping places. Rachael was super communicative, she sent lots of pictures, and demonstrated that she had taken the time to read thru and understand all of my pup’s care instructions. I would trust Rachael to watch Dutch again!”
