“I know we left a review last time but Ashley was so great to Piper and us this visit I just had to leave another one. We got stuck in Denver due to weather and was so helpful and communicative - taking Piper another night and organizing her food etc. Just fantastic service - and Piper loves it there - thank you!”

“I've boarded my dog Iko with Mark several times and Iko is always happy to see Mark again whenever we return. Iko enjoys playing with the other dogs and wears himself out, which is great to see since he is a border collie mix and has plenty of energy.”

“Amazing amazing amazing!!! Kenzie was so caring towards Gizmo, during our last minute booking request. She cares for him in home for 10 days and was very considerate to ensure that her home was a good fit. Gizmo came home happy and healthy, and greatly missed! I would 100% recommend Kenzie and will keep in touch in the future for sure 💕”

About: I went to school originally for animal science and veterinary technology. I worked in veterinary ERs, general practice, shelters for 6 years out of school. While I have hung up my hat as a vet tech officially in 2009 after I found a passion for a career in nonprofit and outdoor education, I still maintained several dog/cat sitting clients in Telluride where I lived over the course of fifteen years on the side of my full time program director position for a busy summer camp. Now in my 40s I work from home or remotely, for the last six years, as a nonprofit consultant. I have one lab named Zappa who keeps me on my toes the way only labs know how. (I can always bring him with me to your home or let him stay at home.) My lifestyle is active and I stay flexible so I can work remotely for travel opportunities (or to stay with your fur babies in your home!). I love running, hiking, surfing, rafting and riding bikes. Senior pets, meds and special instructions are no problem for me with my certified vet tech background. I look forward to meeting you and your loved ones! Let me know if you have any questions 💙 I’m typically very flexible since I work from home. I split my time between Mancos/Durango/Telluride so can stay wherever you are or your pet can stay with me, or I can do drop ins. Sometimes I have to drive up to Telluride for client meetings but would know ahead of time and plan your pet sitting around that or just not schedule anything during that time. My house is very clean, uncluttered and comfortable. I have an unfenced yard on 4 acres but would follow your lead on this one. My dog uses a halo collar for his fence boundary at my house. I’ve cared for dogs who need leash walks only too.
“I was thoroughly impressed with Sandra! She was very kind and responsive and took great care of my Oakley. She sent me pictures and updates throughout the day. Would definitely use again.”

About: I'm an animal lover! We have two dogs (Border Collie mixes) and one cat. I know how important it is to feel like your fur friends are in good hands and I will make sure I do that for you. I have experience giving meds to both cats and dogs, if needed. We have two kids, 5 & 6 years old, who are very good and gentle with pets. They have a lot of experience with animals. All I ask is that your pet is also kid-friendly! They will be closely monitore together. You may have noticed in my photos that we also have chickens! They do have a large, separate yard, so they will be in their own area when we have visiting pets. They are well secured, so if you worry your dog might get excited and chase them, their fence will keep them safe. During the school year, I drop my kids off in the morning, might have short errands to run, home most of the day, then pick the kids up in the afternoon. Our dogs eat in the morning and the evening with many potty breaks in between. As for summer, we spend most of our time outside in the yard. My husband is a wildland firefighter, so I am home with the kids most of the time. As a photographer, my schedule is very flexible. I usually only do photo sessions during the evening and they're only a half hour to an hour long. When I have weddings, it's likely I won't be available because they are long days away from home and I wouldn't want to leave your pet alone for that long, my availability will be updated accordingly. Even with photo sessions and school, I am home a lot! I understand from experience how it can feel to leave your pets somewhere unknown. I will do my very best to keep to the schedule your pets are usually on. Feeding, potty breaks, medication, etc. I will make sure they feel at home, get love and attention, play time, walks, and anything else they would normally enjoy. Feel free to bring them a bed so they have somewhere to sleep. Our dogs sleep on our bed, but we will make sure your pet doesn't feel lonely at bedtime, too!
“Bently had a great stay with Jack! Drop off and pick up were very smooth and I received lots of pictures. Bently had just started Prednisone and Jack gave him the medication and paid close attention to his well-being. Great communication and Bently would love to stay again if we're ever back in the area!”

“Ashley was punctual and communicative each time she stopped by to drop-in on my cat. She also helped by watering our garden and bringing in a couple of deliveries. Would definitely book her again!”

About: I was raised on a small farm in southeast Georgia which allowed me to gain experience with many different animals - including dogs, cats, turtles, chickens, ducks, goats, & horses! I’m passionate about health and wellness and am in the process of becoming a women’s health coach. I am available for dog walking and housesitting opportunities and my schedule can be somewhat flexible, depending on what kind of care you are looking for! In addition to providing excellent pet care, I have some availability to housesit which includes the following services: Taking pets for walks/hikes and engaging in playtime activities, collecting mail, & watering house plants/garden space. I currently work part-time, so I’ll have plenty of time to go on walks, hikes, and engage in play with your pups, and other furry pets! Your pet’s safety and comfort is top priority! Before showing up to a sit I prefer to meet in person to build trust and make sure everyone is comfortable.

“Ashley is wonderful! She takes care of my puppies like they are her own. I always receive pictures and updates and she has happily given my little guy his eye meds. Plus my puppies LOVE her and are always exhausted when they come home having had the best day with her!”

“Mark was great. He made sure that our dog was well taken care off. Mark provides great service, as it was easy to communicate with him, and he provided pictures of our dog during her stay.”

“We feel so fortunate to have access to a trusted person like Suede to watch our dog when we are on vacation and there are activities where dogs are not allowed like the National Parks.”

“We were nervous to find someone to watch our dog to go hiking, as he has never been left anywhere before. However I was so relieved to find Kenzie! She was flexible with working with us, communicative, sent photo updates the whole time we were gone, and provided Archie with a comfortable and friendly place to stay! If we were ever in the area again and in need of someone to help with Archie, Kenzie would be the first person we would ask!”

“Kaitlynn and her family were the best people to leave our boy with for the day while we spent time in Mesa Verde. He was loved and cared for with plenty of space to sniff and play as well. Highly recommend!”
