“We weren’t able to book our normal sitter for our dog reactive pup and thought we’d have to miss a family trip until we met with Chris. Chris met with us and our pup a couple times very close to the date of the trip a to make sure our dog was comfortable in the new environment with new person. Once it seemed like he was, we talked through our dogs reactivity with Chris who was very attentive and understanding. He even went out of his way to let his neighbor (who has a dog) know he’d have a reactive pup there which was very thoughtful. During the trip, Chris gave us great updates and we felt good knowing he was in good hands. If we need a sitter again for any period of time, Chris will definitely be top of mind. Thanks Chris!”

About: I have five years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. My experience began when I fostered a mother cat and her six very young kittens. Several had respiratory infections, so I carefully administered their prescribed medication and monitored their care. I found loving homes for four of the kittens and adopted the other two. I raised my Doberman from 11 weeks old and have personally handled his basic training, exercise, enrichment, and daily routine. About: Hi! We are Kati and Mitch, a work from home couple living with our pack in the mountains. We’ve owned and raised dogs of all shapes and attitudes and sizes, so our experience covers most ground! Our 14 year old dog is a pit who was very reactive in his prime, teaching us a lot about how to handle reactive dogs safely, but now as a sleepy senior, he’s taught us more about senior dog care. We raised our second dog from a puppy, so she taught us so much about the adorable havoc that puppies can bring! Our newest is a rescue, who was a street dog in Texas. She was very skittish and is still people-shy, so we’ve learned a lot about how to approach wary dogs, and how to break those naughty habits she learned on the streets! We both work from home 100% of the time, so we are home all day if you need a daycare or want to board, your pup will rarely be left alone if ever! Our schedules are flexible enough that we can easily fit in multiple drop in visits or daily walks too. We have a fully fenced in yard, a little over half an acre. Our two younger dogs would love to play with a new friend, but will also give space if yours isn’t into the rough and tumble! Our dogs are all allowed on the furniture, one sleeps in bed with us. About: Looking to fill the house with furry friends since my golden of 13 years recently passed and I’m really not ready for a permanent pet just yet. My home is set up for dogs under 100lb. Dogs have direct access to a completely fenced yard through a secure doggy door so they can come in and out as they please. I always have fresh water on the main level, upstairs room, and back patio. The back yard has a medium sized lawn area, large covered patio, and dog house. We offer lots of attention and scritches. All dogs are allowed on the furniture which is sanitized regularly. I’ve had experience with both puppies and senior dogs, and have a very pet-safe home. I have a flexible job that allows me to bring a dog if I’m going into the office. I do have work a couple days a week that requires I leave the house for up to 5 hours sometimes so having a dog that is ok to have the run of the house for a bit is preferred but this can be worked around as well. I have a pet cam in the house so I can check on them if I’m away. I plan to do dog sitting for a while until I decide it’s time for a new best friend. My job is pretty flexible. I can work from home most of the time so I can pay a lot of attention to your pet. I have a dog friendly home with doggy door access to a large covered patio and fenced yard. Dogs can come and go as they please through the door.

About: I grew up around dogs. At just 10 years old, my mom involved me in dog sitting for a neighbor. I worked for her until I turned 18, cleaning kennels, walking the dogs, and dog sitting when she traveled. During college and afterward, I managed a dog care and senior dog shelter, dedicating my time to caring for the dogs. After work, I would walk the shelter dogs. I have two rescue dogs of my own and simply love being around animals. I love being around animals. I'm currently in between jobs and seeking new opportunities, but in the meantime, I would love to spend some quality time with animals. It really helps bring joy and comfort to my days. I live in the beautiful mountains with my two rescue dogs, who bring so much joy to my life. If the pet is staying at its home, it will enjoy cuddles and plenty of treats.
About: I've been an animal lover my entire life. Ever since I was a little girl I would bring home injured or stray animals to care for. I've raised an assortment of pets from parakeets, cats, fish, bunnies, chickens, ducks, and many dogs. Our dogs are like our children to us. It's our goal to provide the very best life we could possibly give them with lots of love, structure, exercise, a good healthy diet, and medical attention when required. Any animal that comes in our presence will experience the same treatment. I work full-time remotely. While we don't have a yard per se, we live in the mountains bumped up against BLM land with lots of hiking trails and areas to walk. Our dogs get exercised daily on the trails surrounding our home. With my at-home work schedule, I have the flexibility to take walks for my breaks and lunch hour and to get up and take care of things as needed through out the day. We get up early and go outside immediately so our dogs can relieve themselves then we go in and have breakfast. After breakfast, I start work while the dogs tend to relax on the bed behind me. I will take them out to potty again on my first break then on my lunch hour, we go for a walk through the forest behind the house. They get another potty break on my second break and then another short walk after I sign out of work for the day in the evening time. We free-feed our dogs but if we have other dogs in the house we will adjust the feeding and schedule to the visiting dog(s). We are normally in bed around 10 pm and our dogs are fully on our schedule for sleeping. If we need to step out for a bit, our dogs are good being left alone in the house but we do have a crate if needed for dogs that aren't good being left alone.

About: I have had dogs ever since I could remember as a kid. I have experience sitting for small, big, old, young, and medically complex animals, also including cats and reptiles. I have administered medications/observed certain pets as well that needed a little extra attention. Chris met with us and our pup a couple times very close to the date of the trip a to make sure our dog was comfortable in the new environment with new person. Once it seemed like he was, we talked through our dogs reactivity with Chris who was very attentive and understanding. He even went out of his way to let his neighbor (who has a dog) know he’d have a reactive pup there which was very thoughtful. “Short review is Luke is a fully capable sitter who can handle any situation you may have. And your dog will come back happier. Long version, My dog Tucker her has special needs. He was attacked a couple of years ago and doesn’t do well around aggressive, male dogs or a bunch of dogs. The first time I brought Tucker to Luke’s house, he met his beautiful dog Brolie. He’s very energetic but very well trained. I was a little hesitant, but Broly let Tucker settle in and by time I had come back to pick him up the first day after an hour they were already best friends. It was at this time. I felt comfortable going on my four day trip. Not only did Luke send many pictures of Tucker looking happy and stress-free, but was always there to quickly respond if I had any questions. I also had a situation where I could be back a day earlier or not, and there was never an issue if I needed to extend my stay, Luke would’ve had my back. I can’t say enough good things about what Luke did to help make Tucker feel safe and loved. He realized that Tucker was super food driven and always gave him little treats when he needed it and even toppers for his food when Tucker was jealous of Brolie’s dinner. Not only that but Luca is training to be professional dog trainer so if you need somebody who is very understanding, kind hearted, and absolutely appreciates your love for your pet, Luke is your guy. But just not too many of you because I need him to save a spot for Tucker lol”
“Tony and his wife were a lifesaver when my mother-in-law unexpectedly passed away and we suddenly had to leave town for over a week. They quickly arranged a meet-and-greet and our dog got along great with Louie. They were patient with our dog when he had trouble adjusting to his new environment and the sudden disappearance of his family. They took him for walks and set pictures and videos to calm our anxieties about leaving him with people who we don’t know. When we returned to pick up our dog, he was happy and healthy, I think he even missed his pal Louie when we took him back home! We are very grateful for Tony and Nicole’s quality pet care.”
