“Our two dogs just stayed for 5 nights at Karissa’s. We loved that they could be comfortable there like they were at home, with the ability to move around the house freely, sleep on couches or dog beds, and get some cuddles with Karissa. They both love being with other dogs so that made it a fun and enjoyable stay for them. When I picked them up, they seemed so comfortable with the dogs and you could tell they had really connected with Karissa. She has a sweet, kind confidence with dogs that they really respond to. Also, I don’t think I’ve ever seen them as tired as they have been the past two days since I’ve picked them up. The playing and socializing really did them good. Karissa even sent rh home bathed! About: I am currently going to school to becoming a veterinary technician, I have cared for dogs for more than 3 years. If anything happens, even if thats a good thing like catching a ball, I will be sending you pictures of your pup and staying uo with the communication!! I also believe it is important when I am there for the pups/animals to get adequate play time, so if that means they need to run for 30 minutes then I will stay and run with them! I am currently attending school to become a veterinary technician, so sometimes during the week days its hard for me to swing by during the day for a few hours but If I can I will swing in for 30 minutes and play with the pups!! I also have a part time job at my church which is every sunday morning until 12:30pm and every Wednesday night until 8pm In your home if you require me to crate them when I leave I will. I am very good with listening to how their owners treat the pups/animals when someone is not home. I prioritize keeping their routine as normal as I can. So if that means during the day they watch a TV show, then I will leave the TV on for them and let them watch their show. If that means 5 walks throughout the day, then I will do that as well. Its all about making the pet feel comfortable, nothing else.

About: We both have had dogs all our life. Currently we have 2 Newfoundland’s that get along well with other dogs. We can work with puppies. We love small dogs all the way to extra large. We have experience if giving medications, care from surgeries, and special feeding requirements. Anything you need we can handle. We both work from home so the pups will have free range of the house all day. We have time for walks and play. We typically feed dogs around 6:30-7am and then again around 5pm. Our pups are out and about the house all day. They are kenneled at night and if we leave the house. They pretty much have the run of the house, thus we know dog hair! We have an invisible fence for our yard. We would take your pup out on leash for potty breaks.

“I was a little nervous about leaving Ingrid since she’s so “needy” and has never been with anyone besides the groomer and that’s only for a couple of hours. But as soon as I met Leah I was instantly at ease. I could tell she loves the fur babies she takes care of. And as I suspected, she and her husband did a lot of holding Ingrid. I wasn’t concerned about Max - he loves everybody and gets along fine with other dogs. I was impressed with Leah’s documentation of the pees/poops/water breaks and food and taking pictures. At home, my own medically compromised pup, Stubby Chubby, keeps me on my toes too so the care doesn't stop when I clock out. What I do is hard work, but I love every minute of it and wouldn't ask to be doing anything else.

“Our two dogs just stayed for 5 nights at Karissa’s. We loved that they could be comfortable there like they were at home, with the ability to move around the house freely, sleep on couches or dog beds, and get some cuddles with Karissa. They both love being with other dogs so that made it a fun and enjoyable stay for them. When I picked them up, they seemed so comfortable with the dogs and you could tell they had really connected with Karissa. She has a sweet, kind confidence with dogs that they really respond to. Also, I don’t think I’ve ever seen them as tired as they have been the past two days since I’ve picked them up. The playing and socializing really did them good. Karissa even sent rh home bathed!
