“April and her family were wonderful to both of our dogs (Miko & Kobe)! She was communicative and sent daily updates with several photos, which was great! I can tell both dogs were treated well and received lots of love and snuggles. I would highly recommend April!”

“I can’t recommend Judy highly enough! From the moment I dropped off my dog, Dixie, I felt completely at ease knowing she would receive individualized care in a loving home environment. Judy boards only one dog at a time, which allowed Dixie to get all the attention and care she needed. The updates and photos were a wonderful touch, showing Dixie feeling at home and enjoying her stay. It was clear that Judy truly loves and understands dogs. When I picked Dixie up, she was calm, happy, and clearly well cared for. I will definitely be returning! Thank you for the outstanding service!”

“Priya was very flexible when dealing with drop-off and pick-up. We needed last minute boarding and she was very accommodating. Priya gave us daily updates on our Summer and took great care of her. I would highly recommend her and we would definitely use her again!”

“Our two dogs just stayed for 5 nights at Karissa’s. We loved that they could be comfortable there like they were at home, with the ability to move around the house freely, sleep on couches or dog beds, and get some cuddles with Karissa. They both love being with other dogs so that made it a fun and enjoyable stay for them. When I picked them up, they seemed so comfortable with the dogs and you could tell they had really connected with Karissa. She has a sweet, kind confidence with dogs that they really respond to. Also, I don’t think I’ve ever seen them as tired as they have been the past two days since I’ve picked them up. The playing and socializing really did them good. Karissa even sent rh home bathed! I know we’ll be booking with Karissa again!”

“We would like to highly recommend Leah to care for your pets. She replies to all emails really fast, was very flexible when we had to update our drop off time, sent pictures and updates during our trip, and gave us a detailed report of how our little Henry did all week. We used other Rover.com sitters and she is the best. We are excited to find a long term sitter.”

“Breanne was extremely attentive to both our young and older dogs. She sent multiple pictures throughout their stay that showcased how comfortable they were with the environment. Highly recommend!”

“Our dog has suchhhh an amazing time with Karen and Nash! Nash & Sadie had an amazing time playing the whole time and it was great knowing she was safe and having fun. Karen sent updates every day and it relieved so much stress from us knowing she was in great hands. Will definitely be staying with you again, thanks so much Karen!!!”

“Traci was absolutely fantastic! She was incredibly communicative throughout the entire stay, always keeping me updated and making me feel at ease. She was also very flexible and accommodating, which made everything so much easier. Most importantly, she took great care of my dog and treated him like her own. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Traci again—highly recommend!”

“I had to go out of town last minute and needed someone reliable to watch our kittens, and Joan was the perfect choice. She was incredibly responsive and kept me updated with photos throughout the entire time. It was such a relief to know that our little kitten was in good hands while we were away. I will definitely be reaching out to Joan again in the future for any pet-sitting needs. Thank you, Joan, for taking such great care of our kitten.”

“I would definitely recommend Mildred for your dog sitting needs. She took in my pup cookie 🍪 for a few days, cookie absolutely enjoyed herself so much she almost didn't want to leave with me lol. This was my first time using the app / dog sitter in general. But whatever worries I had Mildred reassured me with videos and photos of my pups day to day activities. She's hands down more than a dog sitter she treated cookie like family and that's important. For your sitting needs I recommend Mrs. Mildred, trust me on this yiu won't be disappointed 😉”

“Breanna was wonderful with Miles and very responsive. They have such a loving and welcoming hime. Her dog Amanda and Miles were fast friends. I know Miles was sad to leave. Thank you for taking such great care of him. 💕”

“Moriah was fabulous! She was very mindful of my pups needs and he had a bunch of play time with her dogs. My pup was a happy boy after visiting. Will definitely use again. Thanks for everything, Moriah!”
“Niki, Josh, and Zeus are amazing sitters! We got daily pics of our pup and they took care of him like he was their own. We were so happy to see that he settled in so nicely and were 100% sure that’s because they are amazing pet parents! Thank you!!”

“Mihaela took great care of Zoey while we were gone for a few day. Zoey had not spent to much time away from us, but Mihaela made her so comfortable, she did not miss us as much. Mihaela took many pictures of their many walks around Cherry Creek Trail. Thank You so much for all the fun thing that you did with Zoey. See you again soon”

“I definitely recommend Felichia! She was great with my mom's dog. Super communicative, flexible, and overall fantastic with the pup. We forgot to bring diapers and she went to the store and picked some up with no hesitation. Will be rebooking in the future.”

“This was Lucy's first visit with Crystal and her family and it was a great experience. We were impressed that Crystal had a dog crate, food and water bowls, toys and other pet supplies to make her furry friends feel at home. We were gone for 5 days and did not worry if Lucy was doing well. The pictures we received confirmed she was a happy camper at Crystals home. We also learned that Lucy loves to go on jogs. I would definitely recommend Crystal to care for your furry loved one. Thank you guys!”

“Leo had the best time staying with Corey! This was his first boarding experience. Let’s just say a high bar has been set now. I received so many wonderful pictures/videos and updates about Leo. He was able to roam around outside, play ball and hang out with some fun friends. Corey also gave Leo a bath and got his beard back to tip top shape. I would highly recommend Corey for dog sitting or boarding.”

“David did a great job taking care of our dog, Roxy. Having a big yard for her to run around in with other dogs was just what she needed while we were out of town. David was very communicative the whole time and you can tell he really enjoys watching and taking such good care of the dogs. We will be using him again in the future!”

“Barbara and Luis were wonderful with our fur babies. They sent pictures, updates, communicated constantly and made our pups peeled as loved as if they were home with us!! Will definitely book again. Highly recommend!!!”

About: I’ve been cat sitting for over 8 years and have experience with many different types of cats, from playful and social to shy and independent. I understand how to adapt to each cat’s personality and needs, whether that means engaging playtime or giving them space. I also grew up with two cats of my own, so I’m very familiar with their behavior and how to make them feel comfortable and cared for.
“Amy was wonderful with my cat and very easy to communicate with throughout the visits. She was reliable, responsive, and made me feel at ease while I was away. My cat really seemed to like her. I would absolutely recommend Amy and book with her again.”

“After a few near CATastrophes, I’m usually anxious traveling for work and leaving my two cats to friends and family. This time around, I thought I’d try Rover instead. Courtnee was a delight! She was professional, a great communicator, completed all visits as planned and I had a stress-free trip. She cleaned the litter boxes and also fed our fish and watered our plants. I received photos and updates with each visit and was absolutely comfortable with Courtnee being in my home and looking after our two cats. I will be booking Courtnee for all my trips and highly recommend you do too!”

“Allison is awesome! She took such great care of my Desilu. She was very attentive of her and communicative with me me which I appreciated very much. I felt comfortable being away knowing Desi was in good hands :)”

“Ashlee did a great job pilling my hissy-cat while we were gone. I was so worried about leaving her with someone and them not being able to medicate her. She was flexible to try different treats and ways of getting the meds into her, which I’m so thankful for!”

About: I am currently going to school to becoming a veterinary technician, I have cared for dogs for more than 3 years. If anything happens, even if thats a good thing like catching a ball, I will be sending you pictures of your pup and staying uo with the communication!! I also believe it is important when I am there for the pups/animals to get adequate play time, so if that means they need to run for 30 minutes then I will stay and run with them! I am currently attending school to become a veterinary technician, so sometimes during the week days its hard for me to swing by during the day for a few hours but If I can I will swing in for 30 minutes and play with the pups!! I also have a part time job at my church which is every sunday morning until 12:30pm and every Wednesday night until 8pm In your home if you require me to crate them when I leave I will. I am very good with listening to how their owners treat the pups/animals when someone is not home. I prioritize keeping their routine as normal as I can. So if that means during the day they watch a TV show, then I will leave the TV on for them and let them watch their show. If that means 5 walks throughout the day, then I will do that as well. Its all about making the pet feel comfortable, nothing else.

“I was a little nervous about leaving Ingrid since she’s so “needy” and has never been with anyone besides the groomer and that’s only for a couple of hours. But as soon as I met Leah I was instantly at ease. I could tell she loves the fur babies she takes care of. And as I suspected, she and her husband did a lot of holding Ingrid. I wasn’t concerned about Max - he loves everybody and gets along fine with other dogs. I was impressed with Leah’s documentation of the pees/poops/water breaks and food and taking pictures. That takes a lot of “watching”. We live in Texas and were in Castlerock for our son’s wedding. I’m sure we will be visiting again, and if we need a dog sitter, Leah will be the first one we call. Thank You so much Leah. 😊”

“Sharon is really amazing, so nice and welcoming and takes good care of dogs. Cacao our puppy had a great time with her. He played in her ranch with her lovely dogs and saw the horses I could tell when I picked him up that he really had a good time. By the time we got home he was tired from all the playing and slept right away. Will definitely be using her again.”

Adventure-ready dog walkers - Elizabeth
Prices are estimates per walk for 1 dog. Pricing may vary based on your search and includes a booking fee of 11%.

About: I grew up in the country (Elizabeth) on some acreage, surrounded by animals of all kinds, so caring for them is second nature to me. Over the years, I’ve had hands-on experience with horses, chickens, ducks, turkeys, pigs, dogs, and cats—each with their own personalities and needs. As a current dog, cat, and chicken owner, I understand how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your animals. I provide attentive, reliable, and compassionate care so you can feel confident your pets are safe, happy, and well-loved while you’re away. Working from home or in transit to meet clients, my schedule is flexible. I live in Elizabeth and when I’m not in my home office, I’m in Parker, Castle Rock, Kiowa and surrounding areas. As I work for myself and set my own schedule, I’m available for daily or multiple times a day to support you in caring for your fur babies when you are unable to be with them. My own fur babies are a bit spoiled. When I’m at home they are generally nearby. We spend time outdoors on the property regularly. (though Chloe prefers to be inside in her favorite chair) Otis loves walks and eagerly hops in the car when we go for walks in town. (and he looks forward to the pup cup that follows) Otis is about 140lbs (cane corso) and Chloe was rescued from a ranch where she had been severely injured and semi feral. She was very skittish and she has blossomed into an attention seeking snuggler with a continuous purs.

About: Compassionate and reliable pet care experience providing daily feeding, exercise, medication administration, grooming, and companionship, ensuring pets feel safe, loved, and well cared for. I will love your fur baby just like my own. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. It would be my pleasure to care, feed, play and love on your fur babies in your home.
About: Hi there! I’m really glad you’re here. I know how personal choosing a pet sitter is. Choosing someone to care for your animal isn’t about convenience- it’s about trust, and about finding someone who sees your pet the way you do: as family. That’s exactly how I care for every animal I meet. ⸻ I’ve spent my entire life surrounded by animals- big, small, healthy, fragile, goofy, complicated, misunderstood. They’ve been my greatest teachers. Professionally, I’ve spent over eight years in pet care, starting at PetSmart where I cared for everything from dogs and cats to reptiles, fish, and exotics. I’ve completed 500+ walks and sits on Rover/Wag with a perfect 5-star record- not because I’m perfect, but because I truly show up for each pet as an individual. I also worked with Freedom Service Dogs, supporting training and care for service animals in training- an experience that taught me so much about patience, communication, and trust. My background is a little unique: I earned my degree in Animal-Assisted Therapy from the University of Denver, and even worked as an Animal-Assisted Therapist alongside dogs, horses, guinea pigs, and rats. Animals have an emotional world, and I take that seriously. ⸻ In my personal life, I’ve always had a soft spot for the ones with special needs. I’m current a mom of three cats, including one with IBS/genetic abnormalities annd another with FIV. I also adopted a 17 year old hospice cat with cancer, who ended up living well past the 3 months he was given. I believe that love and dignity matter at every stage of life. I also help care for my landlord’s incredible farm family when they travel: 2 dogs, 3 cats, 1 horse, 2 ponies, 4 donkeys, and a flock of chickens. Honestly, it’s my dream job! ⸻ My Promise to You and Your Pet I don’t rush visits. I don’t “just feed and leave.” I sit with them. I learn what makes them feel safe. I even talk to them- though no one has talked back…yet. Whether your pet is shy, anxious, elderly, energetic, or extra wiggly, I will meet them exactly where they are- with patience, respect, and genuine care. If you’re looking for someone who will love your pet in your absence, not replace you but reassure them until you return- I’d be honored to help. I own my own mental health-focused business and work remotely, which provides me incredible flexibility in that I can work when, where, and how I want. This allows me to fit in dog sitting/walking gigs as I see fit. Since pet care doesn’t feel like a job for me (more like a hobby that happens to bring an income), I love to be flexible to enable me to spend as much time with animals as I can. That is MY definition of paradise! When in my care, I’ll treat your pet like my own. The foundation of my relationship with any of my clients’ dogs is built on respect- respect for you as the parent, respect for me as the human in charge when the parent is away, and respect for the dog and their needs as an unique individual.

About: Hi I’m Ellen! Ive been part of the Rover community for 7 years now, with my first bookings starting in 2019. I’ve been taking care of animals all my life - I’ve had boxers, French bulldogs and horses growing up, and now have had 3 French bulldogs of my own! I’m very familiar and comfortable with brachycephalic breeds, but can take care of other dogs too. They’re family! I am able to help with horses too - I had 2 of my own through high school and college and did competitive 3 day eventing. Send me a message if you need help with your equines! Thank you for considering me - I’d love to spend time with your furry family members on my days off of work! I can pick up/drop off for daycare at my house as well. I’m an ER nurse and work odd days of the week, so I usually have a few days available during the middle of the week. Some weekends work too! Your dogs won’t be left unsupervised with me. I will treat your dogs like my very own, which means they’ll be spoiled to the 9s! I also provide photos, videos and updates throughout their stay with me.
About: I spend my days providing hospice care at Pepper's Senior Dog Sanctuary, so I know how precious every moment with your pup is. With 6 years of experience including daycare management, dog training, and medical care (CPR, first aid, and triage). I'm equipped to handle puppies, seniors, and pups with diabetes or epilepsy and many more conditions. I use only positive reinforcement and treat every dog like family. My availability: Open Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays; Thursdays after 12 PM. (I work 12-hour shifts Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, so I'm unavailable those days unless you need late night or early morning care) I have my own pride and joy, Stubby Chubby, who keeps me company on my days off, but he prefers to be the only dog, so I don't offer in-home services. Instead, I'll come to you and treat your home like it's my own (but better, because I'll leave it cleaner than I found it!). Your dog's safety, comfort, and joy are my top priority. Have questions? Feel free to reach out about my schedule, experience, care approach, or anything else I'm happy to chat and make sure we're the perfect fit for your pup! I work 12-hour shifts 3x a week at Pepper's Senior Dog Sanctuary, but I'm blessed with a 3-day weekend and a short Thursday shift—leaving me open Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursday afternoons to care for your pup with the same dedication I give my seniors. At Pepper's, I administer medications to 20+ dogs every week, pills, eye drops, insulin shots, you name it. I'm no stranger to meds. The pups there receive around the clock care, meals, and love, and I work alongside a vet team daily with training in emergencies, first aid, CPR, and behavioral challenges. At home, my own medically compromised pup, Stubby Chubby, keeps me on my toes too so the care doesn't stop when I clock out. What I do is hard work, but I love every minute of it and wouldn't ask to be doing anything else.
About: I have had Golden Retrievers since I could walk and am chosen by many to care for their dogs and homes while they escape Colorado. If you live in the Pinery, I’m sure you’ve seen me out walking and playing with dogs! I am home from college for the summer and am available to give your furry family member some peace, comfort, and company while you travel or work. I am available to care for your dogs in your home and will exercise them and play with them according to the owners instructions. Your dogs will be loved and cared for.
“My 1 year old lab took to Alexandrea right away! She spent 1 hour walking my pup while I had a long day at work and I came home to a happy, not stressed, pup. I will definitely book her again!”

About: I have many years of dog training and handling both professional and for leisure. My passion for dogs runs deep and I share that with my two dogs that I have at home. I have a trained service dog that I continue to train on a weekly basis to keep him sharp and I have a little Maltese that loves to sleep. I stand by very strong morals and strong work ethics. I have retired from two professions that demand trustworthiness, loyalty and integrity. I work from home and that gives me the flexibility to visit your pets for walks during the day. Just let me know what your pet enjoys most for exercise and I can make it happen. Feel free to call and discuss more details before caring for your family member. -Floyd

“Catherine and Lou were wonderful hosts for Starc! He loved the yard, daily walks, and the easy going environment that they provided. He's a quirky rescue, but they handled him well and gave him a great vacation!”
