About: I grew up around dogs. At just 10 years old, my mom involved me in dog sitting for a neighbor. I worked for her until I turned 18, cleaning kennels, walking the dogs, and dog sitting when she traveled. During college and afterward, I managed a dog care and senior dog shelter, dedicating my time to caring for the dogs. After work, I would walk the shelter dogs. I have two rescue dogs of my own and simply love being around animals. I love being around animals. About: I've been an animal lover my entire life. Ever since I was a little girl I would bring home injured or stray animals to care for. I've raised an assortment of pets from parakeets, cats, fish, bunnies, chickens, ducks, and many dogs. Our dogs are like our children to us. It's our goal to provide the very best life we could possibly give them with lots of love, structure, exercise, a good healthy diet, and medical attention when required. Any animal that comes in our presence will experience the same treatment. I work full-time remotely. While we don't have a yard per se, we live in the mountains bumped up against BLM land with lots of hiking trails and areas to walk. Our dogs get exercised daily on the trails surrounding our home. With my at-home work schedule, I have the flexibility to take walks for my breaks and lunch hour and to get up and take care of things as needed through out the day. We get up early and go outside immediately so our dogs can relieve themselves then we go in and have breakfast. After breakfast, I start work while the dogs tend to relax on the bed behind me. I will take them out to potty again on my first break then on my lunch hour, we go for a walk through the forest behind the house. They get another potty break on my second break and then another short walk after I sign out of work for the day in the evening time. We free-feed our dogs but if we have other dogs in the house we will adjust the feeding and schedule to the visiting dog(s). We are normally in bed around 10 pm and our dogs are fully on our schedule for sleeping. If we need to step out for a bit, our dogs are good being left alone in the house but we do have a crate if needed for dogs that aren't good being left alone.

“Barb is heaven sent for our Ranger! Ranger is an older German Shepherd that has many nutrition and supplement needs. Barb has no problem figuring out how to manage it all. Her home is the perfect environment where he is more loved and has more fun than he does at home! Barb is incredible!”

“Jenn was fantastic. She was able to get my pups in at the last minute after other accommodations fell through. I was nervous using Rover because I'd had bad experiences with a pet sitter a number of years ago, but Jenn put me right at ease. The dogs warmed to her very quickly and got plenty of exercise. She sent lots of photos, took great care of the dogs, and made my trip much less stressful. I would definitely recommend Jenn for your pet-sitting needs in the Conifer area. I will be using her services again with full confidence.”

Let her play in his amazing yard and even helped make sure she was safe by asking how she plays with other dogs. He gave tons of undated and pictures. He made a very worrisome trip feel great bc I know my dog was in good hands.”
