About: I grew up around dogs. At just 10 years old, my mom involved me in dog sitting for a neighbor. I worked for her until I turned 18, cleaning kennels, walking the dogs, and dog sitting when she traveled. During college and afterward, I managed a dog care and senior dog shelter, dedicating my time to caring for the dogs. After work, I would walk the shelter dogs. I have two rescue dogs of my own and simply love being around animals. I love being around animals. About: I have grown up with dogs since I was a kid including two golden retreievers! I have been living in the mountains since 2015 and I have been lucky enough to live with roommates that have had dogs and a few cats! I have taken care of pets all the way from a husky puppy to an older dog who needed special care including giving meds everyday! I currently work at Copper Mountain as a server so I am usually working from 10:30-3 or 3-9pm but can be flexible for the right situation! I prefer staying at the clients home or even stopping in to take care of your furry pets only because I am unable to have pets where I live. Minnie can be anxious when away from home but was much calmer than usual when we picked her up. When Minnie needed space from Emma’s playful dogs, Emma gave Minnie her own space in the house. About: I love big dogs, especially GSDs, but have experience with many ages, breeds, and sizes. I grew up with several labs. I raised a German Shepherd from 8 weeks to 10 years that sadly passed away a couple years back. Needless to say I dont mind being covered in dog hair. I will only watch dogs from different owners if the dogs are all dog friendly and all owners agree to it. About: I am an animal lover that works from home, so I will always be around. I'm just looking to help you care for your pets while you are away. No complicated stuff or pricey add-ons here! About me - my husband and I have owned two beautiful Vizslas over the last 17 years and recently lost our 2nd one. I love animals, have plenty of experience caring for high energy and senior dogs (we cared for our dogs with arthritis, Cushing's Disease, muscle atrophy). I love walking, hiking and spending time with animals. I have a large 1 acre property and spacious home. No other pets, just me and my husband. I am perfectly happy caring for one pet at a time if you prefer your pet to be the only pet with me. I have also cared for friends' pets for a long time as well but am adding my services here to the Rover community. Thank you! I work from home full time, so I have a lot of flexibility. I am able to take breaks often during the day for potty breaks and walks. I am home almost everyday, but I do go out on weekends for a few hours at a time. I can bring your pet along on hikes and picnics if your pet is able to join. I prefer pets that can be left at home for at least 3-4 hours at a time and unattended. If not, we can discuss. Crates may be needed if they are unable to roam around the house alone. I have a large property, but it is unfenced, it is far from the road and our area is very very quiet, almost zero cars. I can keep your pet on a leash for potty breaks if they are prone to running away. My house is spacious and has two floors with just the two of us and no other pets. The stairs and floors are covered in non-slip rugs for pets. There is a baby gate to keep your pet away from stairs if needed. There are extra rugs for the floors if needed (our senior dogs used to slip a lot). I also have a large deck that is fully enclosed - no exit route. Since I am home almost all the time, I can take your pet for a walk and let them keep me company at home on the couch too! I can also come over your home and care for your pet there as needed (depends on length of stay requested).

If the weather permits and your dog is accustomed to going to the dog park, they can join us on trips to play. We have both gone through dog training programs, most recently Ted Terroux. During the school year, we work and go to school during the week. We are able to go home mid-day for potty breaks. Thus, we are able to board mid-week *if* your dog is COOL (plays well, non-destructive, low flight risk), and knows how to use a doggie door. We have a great record of caring for our dogs and we will be able to safely and reliably take care and keep your dog safe and happy in a comfortable and clean home. We typically feed our dogs in the morning and evening, but can accommodate your pups needs. Our home is very clean and well taken care of. There is a main level in which we hang out with great room, office and kitchen. The dogs have free-roam of the main level which has laminate flooring, but covered with carpet squares as one of our dogs does not like walking on hardwood floors. So, it is mostly carpeted for her comfort. We have a large sectional in which we allow dogs to snuggle with us while watching TV. The LARGE yard is mostly grass, some mulch/landscaped trees & shrubs, with concrete patio in which we spend a lot of time dining and reading. We pick up poop DAILY. During the evening, if you request your dog could be crated in the bedroom in which one of us is sleeping as dogs are pack animals and they don't like being separated from the pack. We keep them close to us. But, we want to keep everyone safe, so the crate is available (optional) for their safety as well as ours/our pets. But again, they are slumbering in the same room with us.

About: I have been taking care of a large variety of dogs for 20 years. From eight weeks old to 16 years old, from pugs to chows and pitbulls to 140 pound malamutes I have cared for them all. I can come by to walk and feed your best friends once a day or stay and cook them meals as per your request. I want to make sure you and your loved ones are as comfortable as possible while you are away. I do freelance work so I have pretty open availability. Making sure you're needs are met so you are comfortable is my top priority. If for some reason I can't meet all of your needs I will tell you before committing to something that doesn't fit my schedule or abilities. I am here for you. How I care for your pets and home is mostly dependent on your requests. I give medicine, food and exercise as requested. I can simply fill a food bowl, measure servings and even cook protein and veggies for your dogs if that is what you want. I am happy to keep you updated or send you pictures if you'd like. Walks are as far/long/plentiful as requested. I want to provide you with the comfort of knowing someone is there to care for your loved one as you would while you are away.

About: I've been an animal lover my entire life. Ever since I was a little girl I would bring home injured or stray animals to care for. I've raised an assortment of pets from parakeets, cats, fish, bunnies, chickens, ducks, and many dogs. Our dogs are like our children to us. It's our goal to provide the very best life we could possibly give them with lots of love, structure, exercise, a good healthy diet, and medical attention when required. Any animal that comes in our presence will experience the same treatment. I work full-time remotely. While we don't have a yard per se, we live in the mountains bumped up against BLM land with lots of hiking trails and areas to walk. Our dogs get exercised daily on the trails surrounding our home. With my at-home work schedule, I have the flexibility to take walks for my breaks and lunch hour and to get up and take care of things as needed through out the day. We get up early and go outside immediately so our dogs can relieve themselves then we go in and have breakfast. After breakfast, I start work while the dogs tend to relax on the bed behind me. I will take them out to potty again on my first break then on my lunch hour, we go for a walk through the forest behind the house. They get another potty break on my second break and then another short walk after I sign out of work for the day in the evening time. We free-feed our dogs but if we have other dogs in the house we will adjust the feeding and schedule to the visiting dog(s). We are normally in bed around 10 pm and our dogs are fully on our schedule for sleeping. If we need to step out for a bit, our dogs are good being left alone in the house but we do have a crate if needed for dogs that aren't good being left alone.

I have hands-on experience working in dog daycare and boarding, and I love spending time with animals at sanctuaries or out in the wild. About: I have had dogs ever since I could remember as a kid. I have experience sitting for small, big, old, young, and medically complex animals, also including cats and reptiles. I have administered medications/observed certain pets as well that needed a little extra attention. I really enjoy engaging your pets in the routines you have set for them and being silly with them to bring them out of their shells. I miss having my own dogs who have sadly passed from childhood and would love to spend time with them! I currently work early mornings, but can switch that around, Friday-Wednesday, usually off by 3pm. I would be able to house sit any of these days and do walks any morning and afternoon! About: I have had many dogs throughout my lifetime growing up, taken care of newly born pups, and mother while in process of giving birth. Have been given dogs to train and have trained and found loving home for them. Rescued a 3 week puppy almost dying, put him in healthy position, and found family after 3 months. About: I am a huge animal lover and my dog, Goose, is my world. I find genuine happiness in taking care of dogs (especially if they get along with mine!) and I have Rover sat/walked several dogs in both Denver and Jackson Hole.
