About: I’ve been taking care of pets since I was 12, dogs, cats, hamsters, and even rats. However, I didn’t start taking care of the pets of others until I was 15. About: I have raised multiple dogs and cats, and help rescue them from the streets! I will go above and beyond for your furry friends:) let me know how I can help! I have taken classes on training, and know many training techniques for your dogs! Whether you are training them now or you believe they may be more difficult, give me a shot! Ive never met a dog I cant get to walk on a leash properly with me, or get to learn basic commands on queue such as sit, stay, lay down, etc. I use positive reinforcement only and treats for these needs! I have cared for senior pets in the past, just let me know what your pets may need and I can accomodate! I stay home 24/7 so I will always be there for your pets! I am a work from home pet mom! I stay home pretty much 24/7 and will always be here to watch your pets, especially those who need constant supervision! I also have a large front and back yard for dogs! I do have work and cannot stay 24/7, but can check in and spend the night! If you need continuous care please book boarding instead! My housesits typically will consist of overnight care 8pm-9am, and a drop in visit around lunchtime. This is also a great option if youre needing multiple drop ins each day! BOARDING: Please bring any supplies needed such as food, meds, etc. I have toys, beds, balls, ropes, everything of that sort but I do need food and anything special they may use at home. If food is not provided, there will be an extra fee for having to buy your pet's specific food. I do not use crates in my home unless requested, but can accommodate if you do! I also only board 1 unspayed/unneutered pet at a time for safety reasons and so we dont have any accidents, so if your pet is not fixed please inquire and Ill let you know if itll work! My dogs are my children, and yours will be smothered in love while they are here too! I have a removable doggie door if needed, if not, I am home for tailored potty breaks as needed. I used to take care of stray animals…gave them baths, took fleas off of them, provided food for them & somewhere to stay until the owner came for them or if I could I would keep them. I use to be a pet sitter for a family friend’s pets they had two dogs and one cat. The pets were on a schedule, so they would get fed, let out & treats at certain times and the dogs had a certain spot they had to be in for bed where there was a baby proof gate keeping them in, so around bed time I would guide them in their area and lock the baby proof gate behind me. Then it was an option to take the dogs on a walk, which I did take them as often as I could while sitting them I am currently open for availability at the moment! So I am pretty flexible right now to take care of your wonderful fur babies. I am in the process of looking for another job so book me while you can! I can easily crate your dog if needed. I am able to take them on walks if needed or wanted. I am able & comfortable to bathe your pets as well. About: Currently, I work part-time at boarding & grooming facility in Pueblo West, CO. As a kennel technician, I work with dogs/cats of all behaviors and a variety of medications (except ones with a needle). Now approaching 2 years working there, I can handle just about any quirks your pets have. My mom has always worked in vet medicine, so my passion for animals started from the beginning! My real pet care started when we brought home a Aussie/Border Collie rescue, while I was just a pre-teen. He was very emotionally shut down when we brought him home, technically, not adoptable. This was my first in-depth introduction to dog behaviors and how complicated herding breeds can be. My other main passion is photography, which dogs are one of my favorite subjects! While the services I offer vary, my main love is nature & wildlife. When I'm not working at the kennel, I'm building my business! I work part-time, but my schedule can be a bit sporadic, either a half day in the morning or afternoon (either 7am-1 pm or 1pm-6pm). The rest of the time, I would be able to spend with your animals! While house-sitting, I like to spend lots of time with the pets because I value their trust & comfort over anything! I'm an early riser, so we can get outside for a walk before it's too hot! With lots of practice and a strong Pitbull of my own at home, I can handle walking strong dogs. Pets are treated as an equal member of the family! Being in their space, I understand the importance of maintaining their routine and habits. I know from my time at the kennel that feeding/medication schedules and directions can be very specific.
